The infinite realities. The myriad worlds. Parallel worlds.

One can call it with many names, but it is indisputable that achieving the so-called "World Travel" between two different worlds are difficult. More so when the said world has a will. These wills are the autonomous entities borne out of the world's desire to create "Order"; for if there's chaos, its downfall is inevitable.

Only a few people knew when this had started, albeit it is widely known by more entities that each "Wills" are bestowed power by another autonomous "being" that governs all realities. Its power can be said to be vast and boundless even to the most ancient beings, but there are two—no, a single entity had achieved the unbelievable.

That person has the very same power as that "being".

"He" possesses unimaginable powers that can obliterate, destroy, create, and give life to everything. Ironically, the same power served as "his" shackle, one that he can't break due to the sheer challenges that it posed to him.

This made it so that he was trapped in his own world, but everyone would soon notice...

...that the entity that was feared and admired by many has broken his shackles—inadvertently breaking his "legend" once more...

Ryuudou Temple.

It is a shrine that existed in the outskirts of the Miyama Town, the place where most foreign houses as well as ancient Japanese-style houses are built. It is also the core point of Fuyuki City's leylines as it has one of the four possible points for the Greater Grail to exist.

Technically, this is a part of Rin Tohsaka's property, but her hiding their family's papers and deciding to supervise it in the shadows didn't end well for her. Simply put, it restricted her from investigating this area easily.

'Caster's really hiding here..!' She thought.

It has been 2 days since she and her Servant, Archer, noticed the "gas leak" incident in the Ryuudou Temple. In fact, it is nothing but a disguised way of siphoning other humans' mana.

Though, everything became a mess when Archer told her of Shirou's predicament. Both of them rushed to the Temple, with Archer arriving just on time to save Shirou Emiya.

For a moment, a standstill happened between the two servants, Caster and Archer, as they read each other's intentions.

Suddenly, a bright wall of light akin to an aurora wall engulfed the entire Temple before disappearing. Much to their surprise, the wall of light left three unknown people.

"I feel dizzy... What did happen just now..?"

One of them, Tomoe Mami, tried to figure out the earlier events, but all she could remember is her being sucked into that aurora curtain and...

"Sensei..?"

She looked at the young boy who is sleeping peacefully not far away from her. In that instant, she got hit critically by that dangerous weapon known as "cuteness". At the same time, some kind of strange feeling rose from it.

Mami wanted to hug this extremely adorable being and pamper it so much, but she got enough self-control to stop at a nosebleed. Wiping that off stealthily, she soon focused on the situation right now.

Hence, she went into her battle mode.

Looking at the weird tanned man wearing a red overcoat and a woman who wore a robe while flying in the air, she summoned forth her ribbons before turning it into a musket.

Just as she was about to ask them something, her eyes widened at the sight of the dual blades that the man had wielded.

'That's the daggers Sayaka is trying to project!'

Due to her shock, she was the one that got asked instead.

"Your vast magical reserves... but you're not a magician. You are not an ordinary magus, are you?" The man in red asked.

Hearing this, she confusedly replied, "Magus..?"

Though, she soon realized that it is what her mentor had been telling her jokingly when he introduced himself. If that's the case...

"Would you let us go?"

"You should ask her instead."

The man pointed out to the magus that flew in the sky using some "magecraft".

"Why should I?" The woman said in a "looking down tone", but it couldn't hide the fact that she is amused on what she's seeing right now. "A young girl trying to act mature? How interesting..."

With the Bounded Fields applied into this Temple, she is confident to defeat this young girl whose magical reserves far surpasses the magus of this era. Moreover, they intruded her base right now, so she wouldn't give any mercy whatsoever to them. Add to that her sufficient preparations and intentions to know more about this girl, it resulted in this current situation.

"I thought so."

Bang-!

The first shot is fired, but it is blocked by one of Caster's spells.

"A [Projection]... and [Alteration] spells?"

Mami didn't care as she picked up the remaining muskets stabbed into the ground before firing a salvo at her.

Bang-! Bang-! Bang-!

Bang-! Bang-! Bang-!

While she fought Caster, the other Magical Girl with Mami woke up. She was befuddled at first, but she woke up entirely after hearing the loud sounds of fighting.

"I'm really an idiot."

Recalling the dream that she had before...

...

"Sensei..."

Right now, she found herself sitting on an audience seat in some stadium. The boy that she loved so much, Kyousuke, is seen playing on the center of it with many audience watching him. There, he is happily performing due to his right arm being healed completely. Although, he never knew that the girl whom he treated harshly oftentimes is the one responsible for it.

"Sayaka-chan, do you recall the story that I've told you before? About the guy whose everything are borrowed?"

She saw her teacher... in a form of a young girl.

"You mean... the nameless hero in red?"

She recalled the story that her mentor had mentioned at one time. In it, there's a guy whose everything is borrowed—ideals, goals, beliefs, and even dream are all inherited. That man had lived while carrying them all, and his ending can be said to be tragic.

It was only after he was hurt for countless times did he realize that he simply couldn't save everyone; that his ideals are all but naught. At first, she thought that the father should be blamed because of it, but her mentor's response surprised her.

"He's the only one to be blamed. He knew himself that it is useless to carry all that weight himself, yet he stubbornly did so. During his journey, he must've realized that fact but chose not to give up immediately. When all those regrets came crashing down on him, it was only then did he loathe his past self."

To be honest, this story gave her such a big impression as it resonated with her own situation. Her mentor knew how much she was being remorseful towards herself, with her "cheating" and having Kyousuke's love and attention thanks to some underhanded tricks. This did not fit her "Hero of Justice" thought at all.

The more she tried to fight it back, the stronger her mind became. It was fine at first, but everything came crashing down when she suddenly felt her deepest and darkest emotions to resurface. It was due to that did she instantly transform into a fake "Quasi-demon". She acquired the [Level 5 Heart Demon] rating, the highest level of mental challenge, because of her loathing towards herself.

Simply put, she felt that she didn't deserve everything.

"...I'm sorry for being a bad teacher. I couldn't even tell what's wrong with my... student." Shiro said solemnly.

"No... It's my fault..."

"As a teacher, your fault became mine. How can you suffer with that mistake if I taught you well?"

"But..."

Sayaka turned silent knowing that she wouldn't be able to convince this teacher of hers otherwise.

"Do you know about the morals from that story?" Shiro suddenly asked.

"...It was his regrets that pulled him down. The weight that he carried as he continued living as a 'Protector' is something that he couldn't get rid of."

In fact, Sayaka herself realized how true this moral had been when she herself made a mistake in a similar way to it. Only, she's more unfortunate as a Magical Girl whose existence are prone to such dark mentalities.

"...You have learned from it. I'm glad."

Shiro stood up on her seat before she patted Sayaka's head. At the same time, a strange power seemed to have awakened in herself. She immediately knew its effects, one that is related to her "foolishness".

"It's time to wake up, my student of mine."

Suddenly, everything went bright and the next moment, she found herself in an unfamiliar place.

...

"The nameless hero in red... So everything is based on real life." Sayaka let out a small laugh when she realized the ridiculousness of the situation they're in right now.

"It doesn't matter."

With a thought of hers, she initiated her [Doppel]. This ability is to turn into her Witch form and use those new abilities freely. Although, her Witch form was no longer the "Mermaid Witch" who forsook everything for love. Upon her realization of everything, she became the fool... and the hero of justice who enacts her "own" definition of justice.

As a result, her own white cape turned black like the rest of her outfit. She now wore a theatrical mask, as if performing on a stage play.

The others were surprised of her transformation, but things didn't end as a bolt of black lightning appeared on her right hand. soon, it turned into a familiar A Ranked Noble Phantasm, [Arondight].

"A projected Noble Phantasm?! How?!"

As a magus, Rin knew how impossible it is to project Noble Phantasms using a basic magecraft, more so when she can partially tell how strong the black sword on Sayaka's hand is.

Though, the one who got more surprised is none other than the faker, Archer.

His and Sayaka's gazes met. Both of them felt some kind of instinctive sympathy towards each other, but the latter's gaze is akin to someone who had surpassed the former.

In the end, she left these words:

"Don't interfere if you don't want to be our enemy."

In a single second, Sayaka reached Caster's position and readied to blast off her magical power through [Arondight]...

A/N: It is Fate/stay night world. I've hinted to y'all a few weeks back then that I've started reading [Realta Nua], which is one of my few ways to better characterize certain characters more. While I'm not yet finished with a single route (yet), I learned more about fate itself. As for those who answered To-aru, I won't be putting it for a while because I didn't even start reading the light novel. I watched the anime, yes, but anime do tend to leave out bunch of crucial stuff, so I'll be placing it here once I've read it. Though, it's not much of a surprise that I would leave it for the latter parts of the story. Their higher-end powers talk about a bunch of concepts often (Magic Gods for instance)...

Here's the ongoing event:
For every ten reviews, I would upload one bonus chapter. Of course, spam reviews aren't allowed, so do make sure to put in a "valid" review out there! Insights, pros, cons, everything would be appreciated. Both on webnovel and scribblehub counts, and this event will only end if we reach 50 additional reviews (5 bonus chapters).
