Outside the cave, Castoria is silently gazing in its direction. Her [Excaliburs] are already prepared, firing off at Shiro's enemy with just a thought of hers. Furthermore, she wouldn't hesitate to pull in her true body if things escalate beyond their expectations.

By that time, none would be her match. Though, she'll have to pay the price of severe injuries at the level. They are not simple injuries from before, but one that can't be treated with ease.

After all, the suppression of this world and the two [Wills] that presides here is overwhelming if faced alone. There are also many existences that, when teamed up, will add to the threats that she will face.

Since the time she broke out of this world and chased after Shiro, she's no longer its inhabitant, hence, the treatment.

Ten minutes.

Thirty Minutes.

One Hour.

Three hours.

At this point, she sensed the thousands of arrays open up a pathway from the inside.

'He's done...'

Just as she had expected, Shiro came out of the cave. His aura was restrained, yet she could visibly see the changes that happened to him. Then, she saw a white-haired woman being carried by his . She knew that it must be the "girl" inside the [Greater Grail], and Shiro helping her could mean that he paid her back.

Knowing him, he would do something like this.

"Shiro."

"...I'm back."

Hearing this, she only smiled. Castoria looked at the floating woman behind him and teasingly said, "With another woman?"

"She's not in my arms."

In the past, this exact scenario had happened dozens of times. For some inexplicable reasons, Shiro would save a girl by chance. After that, he would reject their feelings.

After all, he is fundamentally different from Fenrir who's open to a harem. Of course, it's different when it comes to Castoria. Not only had they known each other for hundreds of years as a "friend", but both of them also trusted each other completely.

As to now?

'I don't know.'

By accepting his past completely, his two sides when it comes to romance clashed.

"Right, I have something for you." Shiro said before plunging deep into his planet-sized treasuries.

'I wonder what is it~' For quite some time, she instinctively began guessing his gift. But, she realized this habit of hers and stopped it. 'I thought that I stopped this bad habit already...'

'Finally found it.'

Meanwhile, Shiro rejoiced as he found the thing that he's been looking for—a pair of earrings. It has shiny blue jewels encased in a golden metallic outline. It took the shape of a diamond, with the jewels being carried by miniature golden chains that have millions of small-sized runes inscribed into them.

Shiro went closer to her, summoning the earrings before he placed them on her ear. Their face became closer due to this action, but their reactions formed a sharp contrast.

Castoria is quite startled by Shiro's sudden action, being evident when her ears became redder. Meanwhile, the latter kept his usual calmness, something that the former is used to seeing.

"This is..?!"

Snapping out from her daze, she realized that these pair of earrings are none other than his first gift to her.

...

Looking at the mirror, she found the usual sight of a calm white-haired man reading a thick book. Upon meeting her sight, he closed the book that he was reading.

"Well." He briefly said before nodding as a greeting.

"How is your day, Shiro~?"

"Good."

Used to this minimal conversation, Castoria began asking him some questions. Most of it are problems that the current Camelot was facing, mainly the nature of the Faeries that reside in this place. Since they didn't do their responsibilities right, the inner sea of the world rejected them.

Only Morgan le Fay and Castoria are the exception to this rule.

With Castoria's wisdom and her current knowledge, she can draw out a conclusion that Camelot is not far away from its doom.

Hearing all of her questions, Shiro understood that she is about to make her move. She, who had been skiving inside her workshop all this time, will go out and try to fix this huge problem known as "Camelot".

"This will be difficult."

"I know." She replied earnestly.

Shiro was quite surprised at her attitude, but he thought that it'll be best if she will come out of her comfort zone. Furthermore, he knew how difficult it is to forsake one's home, so he admired her decisions. Being determined to do all of this as a shut-in is something else, after all.

Thus, he decided to exert some effort.

'The barrier between worlds is difficult to break, but if I utilize our connection through the mirror...'

Suddenly, he pulled a small blue box out of nowhere and placed it in his mirror.

Tap-!

Upon touching its surface, ripples began spreading out. This is the resistance formed when crossing to another world, yet it was broken by Shiro in under a few seconds.

On Castoria's side, she was surprised to see a fair white hand appear in the mirror. Albeit, it disappeared after giving the blue box to her.

"This is..?"

"A gift. It should help you in what you're about to do." Shiro replied.

"Shiro..."

"It's not a big deal. Really."

...

"How? Isn't this thing supposed to be destroyed?"

In their "final fight", he stored many of his valuables inside him. Because he sealed his memories at that time, he didn't know of his impending doom, thus destroying many memorable items.

His "fall" involved the power , so she didn't expect to see it once more.

"My gift."

She recalled that precious memory in which their relationship became "closer" for the first time. In the end, she couldn't hold back and threw herself in Shiro's embrace.

Due to their height difference, she buried her face in his chest. However, it only lasted for a while before they took a more intimate turn.

That is, kissing while handholding.

For a moment, the two lost themselves as they felt their connection. It is no longer something physical or metaphysical, but something that simply .

Shiro became more proficient with his tongue movements while Castoria followed his rhythm. Naturally, she didn't lose her experiences, but it feels more intimate to match up with his current skills. Moreover, Shiro being a 'novice' kisser added another flavor to it, so she took her time to enjoy this moment.

Unfortunately, their world got broken as soon as they felt a gaze land on them. There, the white-haired woman silently stared at them. Her clothes, something extremely similar to Irisviel's outfit, fluttered as the cold wind blew.

If someone sees her right now, they would think that she's a ghost...

"Let's go back." He said before gently landing Justeaze back into the ground. "You might have a lot of questions in your heart, but it's better to ask your 'descendants' instead."

"...Alright."

Seeing her straight face, he couldn't help but think of his straight-faced acquaintances, especially Kal'tsit and Surtr whose straight-face levels had reached new heights.

He shook his head, forgetting those ridiculous thoughts. He then held Castoria's soft hand before they started walking back to the Ryuudou Temple.
