The crater formed by the flowers as they dropped is more than dozens of meters deep. In the center of it lied the female stranger that Shiro luckily downed in a single swarm of his attacks.

He jumped down to the crater before he utilized a lightness technique to land softly.

Slowly, he walked towards her.

"Hm... Hello? are you awake?"

Now that she's within arm's reach, he tried poking her with the golden scabbard. Of course, he had only doubled-checked as he sensed through his mental power that she's already unconscious.

Though, he sensed that there's still a will active within that huge sword. He felt that it is weak, as if it is being corroded by something.

"She's an infected... Wait, is it caused by originum..?!" He thought as he noticed some clues. "When I increased my originum attribute, both my aura and mana increases. This doesn't make sense unless its converting something into those two..."

Putting those things aside, he focused more on the unconscious stranger.

"What should I do..?"

"What happened?!"

Above the crater, Kal'tsit readied herself for a fight with Monst3r beside her. On her one hand, she held a gun-like thing with a green vial loaded onto it.

She also brought some other vials with her. She jumped down the crater together with Monst3r who is looking vigilantly towards the direction of the stranger.

"I took her down just now. She should be the one that we missed earlier."

"That flame pillar earlier?"

"Right. We should bring her away first, lest there will be some troubles ahead."

"Let Monst3r carry her."

"I can carry her just fine though?"

"She might attack you."

After thinking for a while, Shiro agreed to her. He thought that only the sword is the problem, not the person herself. Though before they left, he picked up the huge sword on the ground.

Of course, he held it using his mental power. A second later, his decision proved to be the right one.

"Fighting back, aren't you?"

This time, he touched it directly. In no more than 3 seconds, he performed Structural Analysis and eliminated the remnant will that resided within it through his mental power.

"It's much weaker than I thought." Shiro thought before placing it to his storage. "The power remained while the remnant will got erased. Surely, it's a profit for her..?"

When he first held it, the sword itself instinctively rejected him. The sword is the one that rejected him, not the remnant will to much of his surprise.

Meaning, it is unwilling to be wielded by someone other than the girl.

"Meh. My weapons are enough for now. My arts is not tilted towards flame after all."

On the way back, Kal'tsit went ahead as Shiro needed to talk to the parrot for a while. Though, some prompts appeared as he made his way towards him.

Long lines of prompts appeared in front of his eyes. Though, he chose to transfer his rewards from the system storage to his [Dimensional Storage].

Thankfully, he saw the high priest surrounded by other Tiacuhs including their tribe leader, Tomimi. The center of her staff glowed yellow, seemingly ready for a battle.

"How was it?"

"I settled it. We'll tend to her first, just in case that happens again."

"Wait, what? Who are you tending to? What did just happen right now? What's with that golden light earlier?!"

Shiro reinforced his legs once again, getting ready to run away.

"It's really late in the evening, so the high priest will explain everything. Good night!"

Spell circles appeared in his legs before he became faster as he ran. He could feel the wind brushing past his face due to his fast speed.

"Wait-!"

Tomimi's shouts became farther with every step he took.

"This... Assimilation rate of 3%. Her oripathy is very weak."

"Assimilation rate of 3%?  Sadly, she is still considered as an infected."

Thanks to his acquired masteries, he knows more about oripathy. The basic treatment known to it is by using inhibitor drugs. From the experiences that he absorbed, there wasn't any case similar to this. Even the lowest assimilation rate that he remember is around 5%.

As for a 3% Assimilation rate, one can be considered as only slightly infected! Though, many people wouldn't care about this whenever they see even a little bit of black crystals on her body.

Just like a drop of ink on a blank canvas, the former ruined the perfect white of the latter.

"Based on the looks of it, she had it for a long time. This is strange..."

"Hm... For how long do you think she had it?"

"Decades at least."

"And yet it didn't worsen? Even with inhibitors, it should be higher..."

Shiro looked at the red-haired stranger laying down on Kal'tsit's bed. Without the sword, she's only a Sarkaz with a strong body. If she doesn't have those little black crystals in her left arm, many would've confessed to her already.

Though, her beauty is wasted just because of a single illness. This speak volumes of oripathy's impact to Terra's society.

"Wait, let me try something." Summoning the huge sword, he placed it besides her. As expected, she grasped it by instinct.

Looking at the tablet connected to the infection monitor, realization dawned upon Kal'tsit.

"The sword... is preventing the oripathy from spreading..?"

"It seems so. What a mysterious thing."

Disbelief can be noticed from her voice. Unlike inhibitors, the sword had completely prevented the spread of originum to the body.

Yes, she saw some cases similar to this, but it still surprises her every time something like this happens. Moreover, the cases that she had encountered in the past gave her new research directions.

Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful, either they are unable to be replicated or it required a very unique situation to occur. For short, it cannot be used en masse.

"Mn.."

Their conversation is cut short as the stranger started to wake up.
