When Jamie returned to the Shu’s residence and told the older man about Loraine’s situation, Deke Shu laughed sarcastically. “Ah, Loraine. I am disappointed in you. Why did you let Yu Long corner you like this? You should have come back here long ago.”
Jamie bit her lip nervously as she looked at the interpreter who could decipher her sign language.
“Master, Miss Jamie wants to know what you are going to do?”
“Okay. I will help her since she is my daughter, after all.”
Jamie was relieved to hear that and hoped that Loraine could get out of that cursed hospital soon and could save little Anxia from Yu Long’s hands.
But, if they told Deke Shu that Loraine had a child, wouldn’t that mean that man would also restrain Anxia?
“Notify Song Lei to go to Hong Kong and bring my daughter home.”
Deke Shu’s trusted old assistant nodded in understanding, then walked out to do what Deke Shu told him.
Jamie was waiting for Loraine’s return to this house while caring for Mei Yin and becoming a sex toy for Lawrence’s desires. Jamie turned to look at the back of the woman named Loraine with a probing look. Even though Loraine had forgotten her, one’s habits and character wouldn’t change that easily. Since childhood, Loraine had never felt disgusted or looked down on those below her. But the woman wiped her hands with a handkerchief after touching Jamie’s clothes.
Even though Loraine had amnesia, she would never do something this arrogant. At least Jamie was sure of that.

Jamie tried to approach Loraine to find out what was wrong and wanted to confirm something. She could even feel Loraine’s irritation toward everything she saw.

How could a person with amnesia be able to experience so many changes?
Jamie decided to give up and considered that all of Loraine’s drastic changes were due to her memory loss. She could only pray that Loraine’s memory would return soon, but it was in vain.
