Pinaka and Samyukta were walking together and she looked at Pinaka and said,' you are going to meet Maya now..' he said, ' yes, Khalsa Khan too..so what about that?' she looked at him and said, ' oh she is very beautiful..' and rolled her eyes..he stopped in his tracks and said, ' do you think I invited them to admire her beauty?' she said, ' no, but I know that her beauty attracted you..' he said, ' Samyukta, beauty is feast to eyes, looking at beauty makes us happy, but I already have the most beautiful woman as my wife.. I don't care about Maya's beauty..it's in the interest of Hindustan that I invited them..' she nodded and said, ' I am just trying to tease you..don't worry. 'he said, ' my dear wife, now is not the right time, come, let's go and invite them inside..they were waiting since long..' she said, 'alright, but why didn't they intimate us about their attendance..' Pinaka shrugged, ' no Idea..'
Khalsa Khan and Maya were dressed in traditional Mangol Deels( kaftans).. with their heads adorned with crowns, the crowns had huge precious gems ,they looked fresh and ready for the ceremony, Maya was wearing beautiful gem stone jewellery.. they must have stopped the Caravan outside the city to freshen up.. Pinaka and Samyukta too were wearing their golden crowns and were smartly dressed. Pinaka said, ' welcome great Emperor and Empress, sorry we were not expecting you, so we didn't prepare a welcome reception, please come, the Coronation is about to begin. ' Khalsa Khan said, ' Emperor Pinaka and empress Samyukta, we are happy that you invited us, it was your country's daughter Empress Maya Khan's idea to come and surprise you all ..' Pinaka looked at Maya, her eyes were filled with mischief, she laughed and said, ' Emperor and Empress, thank you for inviting us, ' Samyukta said graciously, ' please follow us...we are very happy to receive you..'
Without much further ado, all four of them went into the palace. Everyone were staring at Maya and Khalsa Khan. Few royals recognized Maya,she was the greatest dancers of the country. Samyukta and Maya were competing in terms of beauty. The palace hall was adorned with three major beauties now, Samyukta, Maya and Mallika. Now walking beside Khalsa Khan, Maya looked regal and unapproachable. As soon as they came in, the old emperor greeted them and the coronation ceremony began .
