Shameen continued to hold the man in a locking position and asked , 'who are you?', he gasped and said, ' Fair maiden.. please release me.. I mean no harm!' she released her grip and pointed a knife to his back and said, ' speak...who are you? why are you here?' he massaged his throat and said, ' I am the Prince of Mesopotamia..Hammurabi ..I am going to visit Hindustan ' she thought, 'Mespotamia is the land consisting of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria and Turkey..the Shah of Iran pays taxes to the great Mesopotamian emperor! , this must be the son of the great Emperor !' she asked aloud ' whom to meet in Hindustan?' he said,' Fair maiden I can't give you more details, but may I know why you are traveling alone? He said, ' Lady Shameen, I think it would be better if we travel together..our destination is the same..we can part ways as we near the Sindhu river..if you are alright with this.. I can be of help to you and I promise to protect you!' she looked at him and thought to herself, ' protect me? who will protect him from me?' but she smiled and said, ' that would be wise!'
He felt relieved, he didn't know why but he had a strong protective feeling towards Shameen and felt that he must guard her..
They started their journey together towards Hindustan.. Shameen felt atleast physically he can protect her and she could concentrate on strengthening her soul..
Every time they stopped he tried to get to know her, but she remained elusive and didn't reveal much..he kept thinking to himself that in his lonely journey, he got a beautiful partner..how good it would be if she could become his life partner..
