" just near the big tree in the corner but I have something to tell you. An kai put his chopsticks down and looked at Xia with a serious expression. " I want to leave this place. I don't know if you will come with me but am leaving. this house is yours so you're free to do whatever you want to do with it. I want to find what I can get without these two families or the people in this big city."
"where do you want to go?
"I don't know either. my heart tells me to just disappear and go as far as I can.
" When are we leaving?"
"I will let you know when am done settling things here."
"okay. Xia nodded, she was willing to go anywhere with An kai as long he had no objections.
in the afternoon, An kai wore a white t-shirt with black pants and headed out. he looked so casual but his charming allure didn't die out, he put on his sunglasses and the taxi he had sent came just on time and took off.
the taxi soon parked under a hotel, An kai got off and headed into the hotel lobby.
" am looking for Antony Liang." An kai said to the receptionist with his calm self. she directed him to a corner seat where a man in a black court was seated, busy sipping on his cup of coffee.
three hours later, Roline was at her father's house busy playing on her phone. Christina came from the main entrance before she handed her an envelope. " I will be up stairs for a nap." Christina said as she moved her hurting body. she felt so weak to think about the results she had brought home. Roline got the results and put them on the table before typing again on her phone. it seemed like she had no interest in knowing what truly happened.
seeing Christina disappear in the corner of her eyes, Roline tossed the phone aside to look through the report but then, her phone rang with Antony Liang as the caller ID so she decided to answer the phone first.
"hello Ms Roline, your divorce has been finalised. the title of your mansion had changed to your name... hello... Antony Liang called out for Roline seeing that she wasn't saying anything.
"hmm, continue please, am listening and the mansion you're talking about, which is that?"
"the one in the province of Chendigwa."
"I don't need it. you can transfer it back to him."
"but everything has been completed already and he doesn't want it either."
"just do as I said. transfer it back to him!" Roline said insinuating each word. she almost blow up at the Antony without her knowing it, and as for Antony Liang, he turned his head to look at the man seated across him with annoynce on his face before standing up to leave.
An kai didn't stop him, he looked at his back as he disappeared. An kai put his glasses back on and left for the door as well.
