Nobody could have told Leo that with those words, the beginning of the end would come. Yet, with about ninety percent of the Universe's population turned into monsters, there was no time to grieve, to cry.
You fight, or you die, and Leo didn't plan on giving up now. He had to push forward and find what was left of his family, the only thing that truly mattered. If it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity and embracing the new reality where the mysterious system was his only true ally, then so be it.
After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, you have to make a choice.
