Wild's proclamation stunned everyone. They faintly figured out some details of who Hawk was and why he was so weird and never died even after experiencing all that danger.

Ryu " Don't worry. Once I am done with the Demon king we will head back."

He tried spreading out his sense but he couldn't find any peculiar energy inside Purgatory. Every presence he felt were weaker than the current sins, so those weren't him. Ryu pondered and asked Wild
" Hey do you know where the Demon King might be? "
Wild nodded " Yeah. He should be near the entrance to the other side."
Ryu " Which direction? "
Wild pointed towards North west. Ryu spread sense in that direction but still came up with nothing.
Ryu " There isn't a single notable presence in that direction."
Wild " That's impossible. The Demon King would never move away from that position. He has been waiting for millions of years for a chance to leave for the other side, so it's impossible, he will never leave from that position."
Ryu pondered carefully. He didn't sense a single creature in that direction. If he was there then why wasn't he able to sense him
Merlin " No need for such careful thoughts. All we need to do is go there and check, simple right? "
Ryu agreed. All of them went in that direction and soon reached it. But like Ryu sensed there wasn't a single presence here.
Merlin walked around and found the entrance to the other world. She placed her hand on the ground and sensed the magic carefully.
Ryu walked up and jumped in, Merlin was startled she was about to shout when a huge form was thrown out of the portal. Ryu followed behind this huge figure.
" Quite good thinking, using the portal as a cover."
The figure thrown out was obviously the Demon King. He was several tens of meters in height, he wore a helmet having two horns on either sides. His body was giving off blazing heat as well.
Demon King " Hmph! Human, you and I have no enmity, so why do you seek my death? "
Ryu shrugged " Sorry for that. It's the deal I made with her. Anyway, you aren't a saint. You waged war across the world, you cursed your own son and you wouldn't hesitate to kill innocents for your own goal.
So I have no problem Killing you. so see ya."
Demon King " Impudent!! Do you think I will be killed easily!!? "
The Demon king swung his sword at Ryu. Blazing heat emanated from his sword and sliced at Ryu.
Ryu didn't move, he stretched out his hand and caught the large sword. The blade cracked the moment it struck Ryu, he put more power onto his hand and.....

The colossal sword was broken to pieces. Finally a tinge of fear began to creep inside the Demon King's heart.
Ryu punched out, a heaven crushing power assaulted the Demon King. He tried using his Commandment ' Inversion ' to reverse the attack but...

He was blown away. His right chest was pierced through, blood poured out like a never ending stream.
Demon King yelled inside " Why!? How!!? Why didn't ' Inversion ' work!!?? "
Ryu obviously didn't know the Demon king's power. The Demon King can reverse any attack coming towards him, that is the power of ' Inversion ' but.... there is a limit. Against overwhelming power ' Inversion ' is useless.
Ryu " Peak Half Immortal, Not bad."
He punched again, the Demon King felt death from this strike. He tried his best to dodge but wasn't fast enough, like an egg against a rock his head was burst open.
Ryu wasn't done, Pure Yang surged out and engulfed the Demon King. Ryu saw the Demon King's soul struggle inside, he upped the power of flames and burned him into ashes.
And thus the King of Purgatory was Dead!!
The sins and others watched Ryu with astonishment. No words came out of their mouths, their brain stopped working seeing the overwhelming difference between their strengths.
Wild jumped up in joy " Guooooohh... finally, finally... I can see my brother!! "
Ban laughed " Haha! Yeah, Master Hawk will be happy as well! "
King smiled " Yeah, by the way Ban why did you remove your bracelet!!?? "
