Blood spurted out, and the restless crowd instantly fell silent.

Even the terrifying black sheep stood still.

The atmosphere became eerily quiet except for Mrs. Aisli’s screams.

Mrs. Aisli knelt on the ground, one hand covering her pale face and the other clutching her stomach, screaming in agony.

Blood flowed from Mr. Aisli’s chest, and amidst the silence, he looked up at the black sheep. “I, Aisli, am willing to become a sacrifice.”

The huge black sheep was completely pitch-black, even its eyes were even invisible to people, but everyone could feel the strong anger emanating from the black sheep.

The crowd trembled and knelt on the ground, not daring to say a word.

After a few minutes, the black sheep’s massive body swayed a few times, and its complex, heavy voice spoke, “Hehe, very well. Madam, your husband willingly became your sacrifice. Congratulations, your wish has been granted.”

Mrs. Aisli held Mr. Aisli in her arms, looking dazed as she gazed at the terrifying creature.

“Thank him, he died for you, for your ideal.”

“It’s rare for a sacrifice to willingly give up their life.”

“But I am benevolent, and I don’t want to see you separated forever. So, I can give you a chance.”

“As long as you give up the life of the child in your belly, I can resurrect your husband. I will allow both of you to live together in Eden and become residents of our world. From now on, you can live here carefree, away from disasters and pain, and hope and happiness will coexist with you.”

Mrs. Aisli’s expression became even more bewildered.

Seeing this, the black sheep’s tone eased a little. “Your husband died for you, and you just need to sacrifice a life that doesn’t belong to you. This shouldn’t be a difficult choice for you, right?”

Mr. Aisli was not completely dead yet. With the dagger stuck in his chest, he could feel life passing through his body quickly, and he could also clearly hear the words of the black sheep.

He raised his head to look at Mrs. Aisli with the same bewildered expression, not knowing what the intention of the black sheep was.

Mrs. Aisli hesitated.

She looked at Mr. Aisli, then hesitantly touched her stomach.

Her stomach was already fully formed, and it seemed she would give birth soon.

She looked up at the sheep above and asked, “When I made the wish, I wanted our child to return to us. Is this child… the same one who died before?”

“Correct,” the black sheep’s black mist swayed slightly, revealing blood-red fangs. “He was already dead, so his death again wouldn’t be a loss for you. Didn’t you say that you thought it was a dream when you were making the wish? Between your wish and your husband, I’m giving you a chance to choose again. Do you want the wish, or do you want your husband?”

Mr. Aisli suddenly looked at Mrs. Aisli excitedly, but she avoided his gaze like dodging something.

She caressed her stomach, her expression hesitant.

Mr. Aisli: “…”

The restless attendants and believers on the ground started to stir again.

“See, she’s hesitating.”

“That man is such a fool. He sacrificed himself, but in return, he faces his lover’s betrayal.”

“Tsk, tsk, not worth it, not worth it.”

“Poor man.”

“That’s why you should never selflessly sacrifice yourself, it’s not worth it.”

The chatter continued, and the place was far from resembling a heavenly paradise.

The black sheep laughed in triumph.

Just as it was about to say something, Mrs. Aisli suddenly spoke, “Please give me the sharpest dagger in the world.”

The black sheep’s laughter abruptly stopped, followed by the restless trembling of the ground and the silence of the attendants.

No matter how angry the black sheep was, it ultimately threw a dagger in front of Mrs. Aisli.

Mrs. Aisli carefully placed Mr. Aisli aside, and he watched as she picked up the dagger.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but suddenly found that he couldn’t make a sound.

“When a baby is four months old, it is already formed, and at five or six months, it can sense pain.”

Mrs. Aisli held the dagger tightly in her hand and uttered a disjointed sentence, “I’m sorry, my dear.”

She looked at Mr. Aisli guiltily, “I can’t kill this child. He’s already over nine months old; he’s an independent life with all the senses.”

Mr. Aisli breathed heavily, his expression dazed.

Hearing Mrs. Aisli’s answer, the black sheep above stopped its restlessness and laughed once more.

“Father God created Adam, and then took one of Adam’s ribs to create Eve.”

“Eve said she deeply loved Adam, yet she deceived him to eat the fruit of wisdom.”

“Since then, Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden, and that is the origin of humankind.”

“Humanity is like that, fundamentally selfish and filled with lies.”

“All these disasters are due to Adam and Eve’s mistake, and that damn deceitful serpent.”

“But the Father God blamed this beautiful Eden and sealed it completely.”

It kept talking, “Eden is the most beautiful existence in the world. It shouldn’t be sealed but should be inhabited by more pure souls to experience its beauty.”

“At the same time, Eden rejects those self-righteous and selfish individuals who disguise themselves as being full of love, but in reality, they are selfish and filthy.”

“What I hate the most are those ugly humans who are always flaunting love and affection but are hypocritical and disgusting. Just like this Aisli.”

“But I admire people like you, Mrs. Aisli. It seems you have made the right choice.”

Bai Lixin leaned against a tree trunk, listening attentively to the black sheep’s words.

The angel suddenly spoke, “We have to leave this world; if you stay here any er, you will be assimilated by the flowers and trees and be stuck here forever.”

“Then the question is,” Bai Lixin looked up at the angel, “how does one leave?”

This question had troubled him for a whole day. He came in to find his wife and some clues, not to die.

The angel replied, “To cross two different dimensions, there must be a passage.”

“But because it connects two different time-spaces, the passage will reveal flaws and instability no matter how disguised.”

“To make the passage appear more natural, something misleading and unstable like water ripples is used as the passage.”

Bai Lixin fell silent, listening intently to the angel’s explanation. When he mentioned water ripples, he involuntarily thought of the pond in the fairy tale world, along with the dream and reality.

It seemed to make sense.

So, does this passage apply in most environments?

“I’ve been searching for the passage in Eden since yesterday, like pools and baths, but so far, I’ve only searched half of Eden and haven’t found any clues.”

Bai Lixin asked a seemingly useless question, “Do you and the demon share memories?”

The angel hesitated slightly, “No, we don’t share memories.”

Bai Lixin continued, “So you two… have been searching separately?”

“You couldn’t leave a note or something to let each other know, like ‘you search the east, and he searches the west’? Go over the places again; are you both being thorough or just playing with flowers? Are you sure you’re my intelligent husband?”

He paused and muttered, “Oh, sorry, not ‘husband’ anymore, now it’s ‘wife’.”

The angel: “…”

‘Don’t ask; if you ask, it’s just for fun.’

————————-

Live broadcast room.

[God Xin’s commentaries are the most deadly.]

[”Playing With Flowers”]

[”Husband? No, it’s wife.”]

[After some time apart, God Xin’s skill in teasing the old gong has become stronger.]

[Gradually losing himself in the “wife.”]

[It’s no longer a matter of overturning a car; he’s dug a grave for himself and quietly buried himself.]

————————–

Bai Lixin: “But you two can rest assured now. I’m here, and I can help both of you find the passage faster.”

“It’s not that I’m boasting, but I’m pretty smart, and I have just the right strength to find clues.”

“What are the characteristics of that passage? Is the water ripple the only clue?”

The angel suddenly felt a bit dry in his throat and he licked his lips, whispering, “Not exactly, actually, as long as you find the distinguishing features, it’s quite easy. Because it’s a passage connecting two worlds, the ripples may seem unusual. For example, the color might be too deep or the distance too far…”

Suddenly, cries of astonishment came from a distance, drawing their attention.

Upon seeing what was happening, Bai Lixin’s expression stiffened. Mrs. Aisli had plunged a dagger into her stomach, and her hands were covered in blood. Amidst the bewildered and shocked gazes of everyone, she gritted her teeth and sliced her stomach open, enduring the excruciating pain to take the child from within.

A chubby baby was brought into this world, cradled by the sweat-soaked Mrs. Aisli. With the first breath of air, the baby’s cry filled the air in this space.

Despite her agony, Mrs. Aisli used the sharp dagger to sever the umbilical cord and used a piece of her clean skirt to carefully wrap the crying baby.

By the time she finished everything, she was already exhausted, her eyes becoming hazy and unfocused.

Mr. Aisli stared at the scene unfolding before him in shock. His beloved wife was now covered in blood and disheveled, but in his eyes, she was more beautiful than ever, just like when they first met.

Struggling to lie beside Mr. Aisli, Mrs. Aisli gently lifted the baby, tears in her eyes. “Look, this is our child. He is the same one we lost. I recognized him at first sight,” she said, softly kissing the baby’s head and placing him carefully between the two of them.

Then, her blood-soaked hands cradled Mr. Aisli’s cheeks, and with the last of her strength, she kissed him on the corner of his lips.

“My love, I cannot and will not sacrifice this child for us. He is an individual, and he will feel pain. I cannot harm him like this. I cannot trade his life for yours, but I will accompany you in death.”

Mrs. Aisli held Mr. Aisli’s hand tightly. “We are both sinners, we caused so many deaths so I never thought I would go to heaven after I die. Bad people should have bad destinies, and hell is where we belong.”

“But our child is innocent. I did so much just to ensure that God wouldn’t punish him because of us, to let him live in heaven.”

“My love, this hell is the best place for us. Although it’s terrifying, at least we’re together.”

Mr. Aisli stared at his once most cherished wife, now a bloodied and worn-out figure, in a daze. But in his eyes, she was more beautiful than ever.

As Mrs. Aisli lay weakly in Mr. Aisli’s embrace, she gently touched the baby, her life gradually fading away with time. She looked both relieved and desperate. “It’s just that our poor child… If God really exists, I hope he can save this child.”

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ground trembled as if some terrible force was about to emerge.

The devoted followers of the black sheep trembled and prostrated on the ground, afraid to move.

“Damn it!”

“Wretched woman!”

“Hypocritical humans!”

“It shouldn’t be like this, it shouldn’t be like this!”

“There can’t be any pure love in this world. It’s all lies from humans!”

“You liars, both of you are liars!”

The angry roars continuously emanated from the black sheep’s mouth, and with each roar, the ground trembled. Countless flames erupted from the cracks in the earth, and towering columns of fire shot up one after another. The once peaceful Eden now seemed like a terrifying purgatory.

The ground split open, and numerous devoted followers fell into the crevices before they even had a chance to scream.

The earth also cracked around Mr. and Mrs. Aisli, leaving the entire landscape in ruins.

In her final moments, Mrs. Aisli held their child in her arms, while Mr. Aisli used the last of his strength to wrap them both in his embrace.

“Why are you people so wicked? Everything is falling apart!”

“Ah, it’s all falling apart!”

“Damn it, damn it, damn it.”

“People like you, such scum, such sinners, you shouldn’t possess genuine emotions that even the gods cannot have.”

“You should forever remain insignificant beings with broken souls.”

“This world is finished.”

“I want to start anew, destroy everything, and begin again.”

The black sheep let out a horrifying howl, seemingly going mad.

The devoted followers ran for their lives on the ground, but many were swallowed by terrifying vortexes after running just a few steps.

Suddenly, a huge chunk of rock fell from the sky. Mr. and Mrs. Aisli huddled together, closing their eyes as they waited for death and pain.

However, death did not come.

They fearfully opened their eyes and saw a handsome angel floating before them.

Amidst the blazing fires, the angel seemed completely out of place. He fluttered his eight wings gracefully, with a solemn and imposing expression that was difficult to gaze upon.

Powerful yet elegant.

An angel, it was an angel!

God had indeed heard their plea and sent an angel to rescue them!

In the angel’s embrace was another equally elegant young man.

When the couple saw the face of the young man, they were momentarily stunned. In the next moment, Mrs. Aisli reacted and desperately lifted her child, using her hands to support the little one as she pleaded in a hoarse voice, “Mr. Bai Lixin, esteemed angel, I beg you to take away my child!”

“Save him, I beg you!”

The angel kicked the falling rock aside and gently placed Bai Lixin on the ground. He then faced off against the black sheep above.

Bai Lixin moved quickly and gracefully through the chaotic ground like a nimble leopard, and in an instant, he arrived before Mr. and Mrs. Aisli.

Furrowing his brow, he glanced at Mr. Aisli’s bloodied chest and then at Mrs. Aisli’s torn-open abdomen, from which intestines and organs were spilling out.

After a quick glance, he shifted his gaze to the swaddled child that Mrs. Aisli held up in her arms.

In the pleading eyes of the couple, he slowly reached out and took the child.

Seeing Bai Lixin holding their child, Mr. and Mrs. Aisli finally breathed a sigh of relief. Mrs. Aisli slumped to the ground and said laboriously, “Take the child away, I beg you. We have stored a large treasure in the largest bank in the city. Locker number 35, with the password 7383494. Everything inside belongs to you, Mr. Bai Lixin, and you may use those things as you wish.”
