I sighed. Seriously, what a looong day. I only stayed here for a few hours but it feels like I have been here for week. This place is nice but I will never come back here ever again. This will be included in my list of 'places I should not visit'.
I broke the silence by saying "It's getting late, I will leave first. Thank you for the invitation Mr. Yuan." I said this with a clear calm voice. But inside I am shouting 'Don't ever invite me again!'.
"Wait for me outside." Vincent said to me. His lips curved into a soft gentle smile.
"En." I slightly nodded my head and turned to walk away but then I saw Irene and Veronica still sprawled on the floor.
"I again apologize Mr. Yuan for making you wait that long." I heard Vincent say to Neo.
"It's okay, Ms. Tan and I had a good chat while we were waiting for you. I will be expecting you to attend the ball next month." Neo said in an indifferent tone. I stiffened when I heard his reply. What nice chat are you talking about?! It's far from nice at all! I took a deep breath and calmed my self. I can't act recklessly in front of so many witnesses. I will just murder him next time.
Irene and Veronica are staring at me with their murderous gazes. I didn't bother with them and was about to walk around them when Veronica suddenly groaned in pain. I stopped on my track and looked suspiciously at her direction. The place was originally quiet due to the presence of the two immortal gods, which made Veronica's voice loud and clear. Everyone's attention is now on her.
"It hurts, my whole body hurts." Veronica cried in pain. Tears' streaming down her red swollen cheek, is undeniably a pitiful sight.
"Master Neo.... Master Vincent... Please help us bring justice to my sister. Everyone here can attest to what happened. That girl should be punished!! I'm going to report this to the Student Council! Irene said in an angry tone of voice. She seems determined to get revenge for her sister.
The Student Council of Xin City High has a very good reputation for being just and unbiased. Even though Vincent is the Vice President of the SC, I am sure that he will still punish me according to the school rules if I am found guilty of starting a fight with a fellow schoolmate and disgracing the school's name.
