*Thwack!*

A sputtering sound was heard inside the dungeon,

"Yaahoooo! I did it, finally!"

Roared a woman with burgundy colour twin braids, jumping joyously, in order to celebrate.

She was adorned in a red-coloured leather chest guard over a white shirt and black trousers, that stuck close to her body, glorifying her curvy features.

In her hand was a huge whip, made of leather and enforced with metal mesh for extra sturdiness and to deal extra damage.

"Yes, you did!" replied a black hair teenager. He was wearing a slightly ragged black coloured cloak which let him completely blend with the dark background.

However, his gaze was fixed on the bosom of the woman, which jiggled as she jumped even though she was wearing a leather chest guard.

The woman stopped jumping and in a shy voice she mumbled, "This was all possible because of your training, Satvik!"

Satvik shook his head and with a smile said, "Even I'm grateful to you, Kavya."

"With your assistance, we've already levelled a couple of times and additionally have reached Floor 10 of the dungeon, within the span of 10 days."

"If we ignore a couple of accidents and near-death accidents, this was a great experience for me and Aria as well," he finished with a smug.

Kavya puffed her cheeks while looking at his expression.

During the last 10 days, Kavya had to learn how to fight and control her strength in order to prevent a scenario, where she could accidentally kill Aria or Satvik.

Although this farse started with her sole intention to get to know more about Satvik, however, as their training and dungeon diving progressed, she herself started taking great interest in learning from her new master.

And if one could ignore the times she accidentally injured Satvik, they would all agree that they have gotten a little bit closer or at least that's what Kavya thought.

"So are we heading back?" she questioned him.

Satvik nodded while speaking, "It's weekend already and we have to leave before the students from the Academy start pouring into the dungeon."

"Even I don't want to meet those arrogant and snobby brats!" said Kavya while sighing.

Satvik looked at her with wide eyes.

Kavya felt uncomfortable due to this and while panicking questioned, "What?"

Sativk sighed and said, "You don't know what have you done."

Kavya frowned and after thinking for a while questioned him again, "What did I do?"

"You raised a flag!" he replied.

Kavya was now even more confused and inquired, "What flag?"

Satvik turned around while walking toward the exit and said, "Let's go back for now."

Kavya followed him while she kept questioning him about what they were talking about earlier.

While they were backtracking their way through the narrow passages of the dungeon. Kavya was leading the way, while casually talking with Satvik without looking forward.

*Ack!*

She cried as she bumped into something or more specifically speaking, into someone.

When she raised her head she found a young blonde-haired man looking at her with wide eyes.

He was adorned in good quality gear from head to toe and had a sword strapped to his side and the insignia of the Academy, etched on his chest guard.

Behind him, stood a group of five humans, three men and two ladies. They all were similar in age and wore similar style gear with slight gender-oriented differences.

They all would have been around the same age as Satvik.

'Sh*t!' Satvik mumbled while looking at the student in front of him.

He was the same student that was tormenting Heena and Sneha a couple of weeks ago with his lackeys and lady luck had bought him again before Satvik.

He immediately covered his face with his hood and pulled Kavya toward him into his embrace, covering her face.

"Ehhh?"

Kavya mumbled shyly and even before anyone could speak, he bowed his head and muttered, "We apologise for bumping into you, young Lord!"

Then as he was about to walk away with Kavya still in his embrace, the blonde-haired teenager spoke, "Wait right there!"

Satvik ignored the young man and chose to swiftly rush out of the troublesome situation. But things were never that simple.

The blonde-haired man whistled and soon his shadow extended and a ferocious beast came out of it and jumped in front of Satvik and his group.

Satvik's steps came to a halt, as he looked at the beast in front of him. It was a Demonic Hyena, which was looking at the trio with its salivating jaws open wide, eyes glowing red and growling at them.

Then suddenly Aria jumped in front of Satvik and Kavya while looking at the demonic beast in front of her.

Although she was half the size of the beast and might be weaker, yet she was not showing any signs of fear, rather she looked at the beast with a predatory gaze and roared.

"Ohhhh! Your familiar is a hundred times more courageous than you, don't you guys agree?" said the man while looking towards his group with a smug.

The men nodded with a huge smug, while the two women rolled their eyes.

Satvik didn't turn around and after a sigh escaped his lips, he mumbled, "Sigh! What do you want?"

"Hahaha!" the man laughed while looking at Satvik's back.

Then he winked in the direction of his lackeys and then mumbled, "Oh! You can go, no one's stopping you!"

"But why don't you leave behind the lady, in the care of someone who can take care of her!"

'Of course!' mumbled Satvik while rolling his eyes.

"Ewww! But she's a filthy beast woman!" muttered one of the women from the group while laughing.

The blonde-haired man laughed and said, "We can always chop off those filthy ears and tails!"

"And I'm pretty sure, we will get bored with her after a month or so, then you can have her back. Hahahah!"

Kavya was about burst into rage and tried to get out of Satvik's embrace, to teach the younglings their place.

However, Satvik pulled her close towards his chest. Kavya looked up at Satvik's face to complain but when she saw his scarlet eyes, she stopped.

Satvik also looked down at Kavya's face and shook his head, in order to pacify her, he started caressing her head.

Kavya calmed down and nodded while looking at his face. Even though she was quite annoyed because of the blonde-haired man, she was also thanking him since, because of him, her face was only a couple of inches away from Satvik's.

"Sorry, but we are in a hurry. She's poisoned and I'm out of potion. So, I need to rush her to a healer," Satvik tried to make excuses.

The blonde man looked at the duo for a while and after inspecting Satvik's tattered cloak, he shrugged and said, "We can give her enough good quality potions that even your generations won't be able to afford in their dreams."

"So you can just leave her here with us, she will be in good hands, which you're lacking."

The other men started laughing after hearing their leader's comment with an obvious pun in the end, while the women remained indifferent.

Satvik ignored the comment and started calculating a way out of the grave situation.

'An archer, two brawlers, one mage and a summoner,' he mumbled to himself as he sneaked a peek at their status.

His enemies were stronger and their levels ranged from Level 60 to Level 80. And most importantly, how on earth was he supposed to fight a demonic creature that was level 189.

[Aria, calm down and stay vigilant. That monster is already level 189]

He immediately informed his familiar about the situation telepathically.

If it wasn't for the damned demonic beast, it would have been possible for them to run away while using Kavya's skills.

However, her skill would definitely be ineffective against the creature of Dark, who was twice her level.

After a brief pause, Satvik sighed and said, "You sure want to do this?"

"You'll be breaking the rule established by the authorities, 'Adventurers should not fight their fellow adventurers in the dungeon,' the only one rule of this dungeon."

"Hahahaha!"

The group laughed and one of the men said, "Stupid trash!"

"No one would even come to know what happened here. This is not the first time we would be disposing off some garbage."

"On the other hand, our teacher might praise us for being a good citizen."

Satvik's grip around Kavya loosened and after pulling down his hood, he looked at the group.

He drew out his Katar and after he was ready with his stance, "Fine! Let's dance for a bit!"
