Satvik woke up in the morning and heard bird chirping while welcoming the morning sun.

When his eyes looked at the tree and felt some soft cushioning behind his head he had a hunch about his position.

"Good morning Saloni!" he muttered while lifting his gaze a little more and finding a beautiful mature looking woman with blonde braided hair and blood red eyes.

Although her face was his behind two large hills, it was still a beautiful sight to behold.

"Good Morning, Vik!" she muttered with a gentle expression while caressing his face.

"Wake up already, the sun is almost out," she said after looking at the horizon and then her gaze fell on his pants.

Satvik's face flushed with embarrassment due to his morning wood and he immediately used his hands to cover it.

'Wait what?' he thought inwardly and sat up instantly. Then he looked at his left limb which was regenerated.

His eyes were opened wide and his jaw hung low as he kept staring at his hand.

He performed several actions like closing his fist and moving his fingers.

Saloni just kept looking at him with a slight smile.

He looked at her and could speak only one word, "How?"

She smiled gently and began speaking.

"Heh~, you might not know this but a Noble Vampire can share one of their skill with their blood-bride or groom."

"We shared our Regeneration skill with you. Think of it as a wedding gift from us. This queen is quite generous, don't you think?" she said with a warm smile.

Satvik's eyes turned moist and he jumped on her. She was surprised at first, he never acted so far.

They both fell on the ground while he hugged her tightly and embedded his face in her bosom.

"Thank you!"

"Thank you!"

He kept on repeating those words like a broken record while his tears drenched her beautiful gown.

She didn't care about their position or her dress and returned his hug and caressed his back with a gentle smile.

"You have to help us in our revenge. It won't be possible with such a handicap, right?" she questioned him.

Satvik looked into her eyes and nodded while looking at his newly generated arm.

'Everyone would be so relieved. Especially Mom and Vani,' he thought with a longing smile.

Then he stood up, offered her a hand, and said, "Let's go. We have a long journey ahead of us. Everyone would be worried about me back at home."

"Hmmm~" was all she replied and went back to her throne at his ripped back, which was many times more comfortable than her previous throne studded with all the riches in the world.

Once he covered himself, especially his back he started heading west.

He tried to avoid strong monsters that were above level 100 and only fought monsters below level 100.

Although it was a golden opportunity for him to level up while fighting stronger monsters but the risk of dying in an instant was always there.

Currently, he was being chased by several 'Bloodboons' that looked similar to Baboons from his previous world but they were more dangerous beings having an average level of 150+.

He was only able to keep distance between himself and the monsters due to his above-average agility and the major factor being that Bloodboons were quite stiff monsters and could only catch their prey through ambush.

They were having a hard time chasing down small and nimble Satvik who didn't even look behind once and was running without any reservations.

He had been running for hours now and it was already dusk. The moment the sunlight could not reach the forest grounds, he took a deep breath and yelled.

"Saloni! I'm at my limits!"

"I need your help!"

After yelling he fell on his knees as his legs had become sore and his muscles were screaming due to pain.

Below him was a blood puddle and when the Bloodboons saw him falling on his knees gasping for air, they all started laughing to mock him.

Then one of the apes rushed toward Satvik with his claw only a few inches away from Satvik's pale face.

But before his claw could even touch Satvik's skin an arm pierced through the monster's neck and went through it, leaving all the monsters in shock.

Then blood that was splattered through the wound of the now deceased Bloodbon became a spear and zoomed towards another Bloodboon and pierced his chest leaving a massive hole in its chest.

When the monsters saw Slaoni's silhouette glaring at them with her red eyes that were now glowing in the dark, all the mocking excitement died down and without even wasting any time they ran away with their tails tucked between their legs.

Once the monsters left, Satvik sat next to a massive tree while resting his back on it and while heaving a sigh of relief, said, "I can't take this anymore."

Saloni used this opportunity and collect the blood from the two monsters' corpses and store it for the future.

"Where the fu*k are we? Why is every single monster we encounter so strong?"

While he was gasping for air, Saloni was contemplating and was lost in her own thoughts.

Then after mulling over her thoughts for a while, she finally muttered, "I have a hunch where we are."

Then she sat next to Satvik and he sat up as well and questioned, "You do?"

Saloni nodded and said, "Trihorned Rhino, Bloodboons and these terrains and forest, if we are not wrong, we are in 'No Man's Land,' Vik."

Satvik held his forehead in his palm and cursed his luck.

'No-Man's Land,' the most dangerous and inhabitable place on Medini and the territory of the Dragons and their Demigod.

He was lucky that he didn't encounter any dragon so far. Even a young dragon could easily turn him into a charred kebab instantly.

However, he was still thankful that it was him and not Aria or Kavya who ended up here.

'Aria really hates dragons to her core,' he thought inwardly remembering the day he first met Aria, near her mother's corpse.

While catching his breath he looked at Saloni who was scanning their surroundings.

She knew that Satvik wouldn't be able to move any further since the night was about to fall and her watch was about to begin.

"Hey, Saloni!" Satvik called her out while tapping the ground next to him gesturing to sit beside him.

Saloni nodded and sat next to him while looking curiously at him.

"How are you doing?" he questioned her.

"Huh?" Saloni mumbled and replied further, "We think we are doing great by incorporating the improvements you suggested."

Satvik looked at her with a serene smile and said, "Your smile, it never reaches your eyes. They're filled with sorrow and rage!"

"You don't have to hide it from me, we are companions after all. I'm always there to listen..."

Saloni's gaze fell and her golden bangs were now covering her face. She sat there for moments and never said anything.

Satvik had been through similar pain twice and already knew how hard it is, to lose one's parents.

Satvik after waiting for a moment pulled Saloni toward himself in an embrace and made her rest her head on his chest.

He could feel his chest getting slightly wet. Then while caressing her head, in a gentle tone he questioned, "When was the last time you slept?"

"It has been a while," she mumbled under her breath.

Satvik nodded and said, "Go ahead and get some shut eyes first. I'll be on the first watch."

Saloni nodded and unconsciously hugged him back.

She skipped telling him that Vampiress could go on months without sleeping. But right now, his warmth and scent granted her the amnesty that a girl who had lost everything needed.

'His scent is similar to Mahi,' was the last thing she thought before losing herself in the dream world.

[A/N: Who is that?...Is it a beast?...is it a bear?.....nooooo it's the author! He's BACK!!!!!
