"Who is trash now?"

"Your noble sister who can't heal you now or little-old me?" Satvik questioned

'Demon!' the only thought came to Akhil's mind as his eyes started to tear up.

"Oye Seriously? Are you crying?" Satvik questioned.

"Pfftttttttt!~" Satvik mustered all his strength to contain his urge to laugh.

"Hahahah!"

"Look at this! All this talk about trash this, trash that."

"You love to trample over weak don't you?"

"And I barely put a scratch on you and now look at you."

"Pathetic!" Satvik passed his verdict.

Disha who had just witnessed the brutal manhandling of her brother, while gasping for air, mustered to speak up, "Haah! If yo....you kill.....haah...him, our mother isn't going.....haah-haah....leave you alone."

"You won't be able to run away from her!"

Satvik turned his gaze toward the other sibling.

Her once prideful demeanour was now long gone. Now she was throwing tantrums and acting like a child.

Satvik's smile died and he looked at the girl with a deadpan expression and questioned her, "Why do you think I would run away from her?"

"Huh?" Disha mumbled in confusion.

Satvik shook his head in disappointment and repeated his question, "Why would I run away from her?"

"Because she's a lady of noble house..." Disha began speaking.

"blah-blah!" Satvik cut off her in the middle.

Then suddenly his expression changed from sarcastic to one filled with anger and pain and he began speaking.

"Your family is burdened with sins. All you do is trample and exploit the weak!"

"You enslave demihumans, tear apart mother and child."

"Kidnappers, murderers...RAPISTS!"

"Your mere existence in this world is a sin!"

"And I will PURGE IT!" he roared.

It was all a lie.

He was not a noble-minded protagonist from stories who would fight for noble cause and good. He was human.

A human with feelings such as greed, lust, jealousy, pride, gluttony, sloth and wrath.

He tried to dish out a reason for his wrath toward the Clux guild by blaming them for evil. But deep inside he knew one thing very well.

They had to face his wrath neither for kidnapping and slavery nor for murder and other evils but for one simple reason.

They took away his beloved from him.

Kavya's agony-filled face still haunted him in dreams.

Her ravaged body, her dispair-filled face, her farewell...remembering those memories re-ignited his hate for the sibling.

Then his gaze fell on Akhil. He was still lying on his back under Satvik.

Then Satvik grabbed him by a fistful of hair, pulled him up and looked in Disha's direction.

His eyes were burning with hate and rage and then he mumbled, "The day I found your mother and other family member, I will do this."

Then without any further ado, he held Akhil's right ear and tore it off.

*Arrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Blood spurted out from his wound but Satvik didn't stop there and ripped off his other ear.

"Stop!"

"Stop!"

"Please Stop!" yelled Disha in horror.

"Just...kill me...." pleaded Akhil. He had lost all his will to live.

However, Satvik threw another jab covered with an elemental aura in his mouth, preventing him from speaking any further.

He wouldn't even let the blonde hair to beg for his death. Once, he made sure that his prey couldn't talk anymore he stood up and walked backwards.

He then picked up the dagger that was embedded in the throat of the spearman and started walking toward Akhil's body.

Disha already noticed it but was now lost for words. Even she heard his brother's plea and she didn't want to deny him the comfort of death.

Satvik then pulled Akhil's body up and made him sit on his knees. Then he raised the dagger to let him have his final peace.

The dagger was coming down on Akhil's head when Satvik noticed a blurred silhouette in front of him and in a fraction of a second, changed the direction of his dagger.

*Bam!!*

Satvik's body was blown away and he crashed into the wall of one of the abandoned houses.

The wall soon crumbled over and his body was slightly buried under the rubble.

Next to Akhil stood a middle-aged man. He had fiery red long hair that went below his shoulder blade, similar-coloured eyes and a haughty expression.

He was 188 centimetres tall and had a lean physique that was covered in a blue robe worn by nobles.

He was still looking in the direction Satvik was sent flying, and he spoke after analysing Akhil's and Disha's condition.

"When I felt the mana surge I thought one of our students might have achieved a breakthrough."

"However, I'm disappointed, that an adventurer is causing such a ruckus and bullying little children."

He casually raised his hand in the direction of Akhil and healed him. All of his wounds, no matter how severe they were, were cured within a few seconds.

Everything happened so fast that Aria was left in a daze. However, after a few seconds her gaze fell on the middle-aged man.

Her pupils dilated at first but soon she squinted her eyes and started to growl at the newly arrived visitor.

At the same time, Satvik rose from the rubble. His body was covered in bruises which were being healed and his clothes were in tattered revealing his torso. His face was covered with his blood-caked hair.

Satvik rushed in the direction of the man and picked up the sword which was lying near the demonic hyena's body and muttered, "Don't interfere!"

The red man casually looked at Satvik who was rushing at him armed with a sword. The man simply pointed his right hand in Satvik's direction.

"Buzz off!" he muttered and a torrent of spells soared toward Satvik and a series of blinding lights enveloped his body.

*boom-bam!*

When the light died down, there was a huge crater where Satvik stood a mere seconds ago.

His body was in the centre of the cater, covered in sizzling wounds. The smell of charred flesh permeated in the air.

The middle-aged man casually walked near the crater and looked down at Satvik's half-dead body with a smirk while muttering, "I don't like when weak order me around."

"Especially a monkey such as yourself! Hhahaha!"

He started to laugh but instantly squinted his eyes and stood up. Between the tip of his finger, he was holding a speartip made of blood.

Within a few seconds, he identified the owner of the spear.

"Oh look! It's Princess Leach!" he mocked Saloni as she struggled to push her blood spear any further.

While struggling Saloni questioned, "How do you know our identity?"

"Hahahaha! I still remember you from when you were little. It has been a few decades since I visited your parents."

"How are they? They must be doing well since I showed mercy and didn't kill them and your people."

"I still remember how they pleaded and begged me to pardon your life. All that arrogance and when defeated, they started begging for mercy."

"Pathetic!" the man said while shruging.

Saloni lost her calm after listening to the man's mocking and immediately created several blood weapons to attack the man.

Blood spears, swords and daggers all find their mark. However, the man was unfazed. The only thing that received damage was his clothes which were now covered in blood.

The man looked at his clothes and veins popped on his forehead.

Then his gaze went back to the vampiress and with a voice filled with hate he mumbled, "I revoke the pardon!"

He broke Saloni's blood spear with sheer physical strength and grabbed her by her long blonde hair.

Saloni struggled to get away from his clutches. However, soon the man raised his other hand and powerful magic accumulated over it, hovering in a bright spherical ball.

'Holy magic!' Saloni gulped nervously.

Holy magic was the weakness of night-beings and the pure concentrated amount, only inches away from her face was enough to kill her.

Saloni's eyes looked at Satvik's battered body and she thought, 'Why has life been always cruel to us.'

The man threw Saloni's body in the air and then tossed the ball of magic at her body.

The radiant light engulfed her body. There was no sound, no explosion but when the light receded all that was left was Saloni's charred body that landed a few meters away from Satvik's body.

"Hmph!" a satisfied grunt left the man's lips but when he turned around, a beast charged at him and bit his forearm.

The man was annoyed at first but soon his expression changed to astonished one.

"A luminous tiger, huh?" he mumbled to himself.

However, Aria didn't pay him any heed and was trying to bite off his arm like a feral beast.

Satvik's hazy gaze landed on Saloni's charred body. Her once flawless porcelain skin was burnt and formed cracks. Her waterfall-like blonde hair was now withered.

Her hazy crimson eyes were fixed on Satvik and her breath had become haggard as she tried to cling onto her life.

Anger, sadness, loneliness, self-criticism, fear and rejection, he went through a torrent of emotions.

'Why?' he thought.

He wondered why misery always followed him.

First, it was his parents, then Kavya was taken away from him and now Saloni was already on the brink of death.

He mustered all his strength and scraped off himself from the ground. His bones were already shattered and his skin was charred in places. He and Saloni looked like two peas in a pod.

He crawled to reach Saloni and when he reached her, he slit his wrist and pushed it toward Saloni's crumbling lips.

He hadn't missed Aria's growling as she struggled to chew away the man's arm off.

Then without looking behind, he spoke, "You're a dragon, aren't you?"

The man ignored Satvik's question and muttered, "Why is this luminous tiger with you?"

"Her mother, her family died at the hands of your kin," Satvik replied to his question.

"Is that so?" muttered the man.

"You don't feel any remorse, do you?" questioned Satvik as he stood up after feeding Saloni his blood.

She hadn't fully recovered but her condition was not deteriorating any further.

"Why would I? Weak always get trampled over. That is the natural law!" the man replied without putting much thought into it.

He was busy studying Aria's condition as if he had found a rare creature for his lab. Although he didn't feel any pain due to his tough skin, what surprised him the most, was the fact that Aria wasn't afraid of him.

If it was any other beast, it would have run away with their tail tucked between their legs. However, there wasn't an ounce in Aria's ferocious gaze.

Satvik turned around with his crestfallen gaze and repeated what he had heard, "Weak get trampled, huh?"

"As if a weak monkey such as yourself could understand that?" the man said in a mocking tone while side-glancing at him.

"You're a dragon through and through, huh?" mumbled Satvik while shaking his head.

But the man didn't spare him any more attention. In his eyes, the only thing special about Satvik was his speed and an absurd amount of mana that was permeating inside his body.

Then Satvik lifted his gaze and looked at the man with a neutral expression and said, "Weak get trampled, I understand it now."

"Now let me show you."

There was silence, even the wind that blew with a torrent died down and only the growling of Aria echoed in the surroundings.

"What a monkey can do!"

"AVATAR!"

He called out his newly unlocked skill given to him by his master and began chanting.

"Radiant son of air, heed my plea!"

The moment Satvik began his chanting, the man's eyes opened wide and his gaze immediately turned towards the black-haired teen.
