"That lock of golden hair belongs to our daughter. We wanted to give you something that would remind you of our promise. Although you're quite a pervert yourself for sniffing it so passionately, hahaha" she said with a sly smile.
"Ack" Satvik cringed. He didn't expect a lock of hair to smell that great. He let go of the necklace and looked at it. He has so many promises to keep, the necklace would definitely help him remember this one.
"If you're that desperate we can summon our daughter right now" she said, mocking Satvik.
"No please don't! I'm at my limits with crazy ladies for quite a while" said Satvik in panic. He did not want to meet another crazy weird person for a very long time.
"Hehehe. Anyways, this time we have ensured that this necklace is not as strong as the last one. So you don't have to worry about being targeted for it" said Mayuri.
"But what's the reason for using your daughter's hair this time, instead of yours?" asked Satvik with suspicion.
He knew very well that the demigoddess was scheming something, as usual.
"Oh that's obvious isn't, so she could track you in future. Once we tell her about our 'Arrangement', we are pretty sure, she'll come looking for you" she replied nonchalantly.

"Here to bid farewell?" questioned Haldi. Haldi was going over some papers in the living room of his mansion. For once he was devoting time to his duties as a mayor.
"Not really, we still have a few days for that. I have something very important to discuss with you" said Satvik.
"Oh! And what might that be?" questioned Haldi with interest.
"First, answer my question honestly. What is your future plan regarding this wealth?" asked Satvik while chewing on biscuits Meera hard served with her special tea.
Neither of them minded her presence in such meetings anymore because even if they wanted to throw her out, she would just use her skills to get back in and most importantly, Satvik had started to trust her.
Haldi leaned back on the sofa he was sitting on and said, "I just want to live my life to the fullest. I have enough money and women to enjoy what I wanted my life to be like."
Satvik nodded after listening to him. He could agree that's a great way to live what was left of his life. But he had a burden on his shoulder and he never wanted to take it easy, never again.
"Then I have a request for you, I want you to amass enough wealth for this city and turn this city into ground zero for a new kingdom" said Satvik.
"You want me to build a new kingdom in "Great Forest", are you out of your mind?" questioned Haldi with a sarcastic smile.
"Do you have any idea, why the Kaziranga empire and Baimum Theocracy never pushed their boundary towards great forest and beyond, towards the west?" he asked.
Satvik nodded and muttered, "Demigods."
"Exactly! It's good that you know. We are surrounded by Demigods and Demigoddesses who have claimed parts of the great forest as their individual territories" said Haldi.
"The only reason we are able to live without any of them coming for our lives is due to the fact they love alcohol prepared by humans. We and a few nearby towns situated on trade routes to Kaziranga Empire have to deliver thousands of gallons of alcohol to a bunch of demigods every year just to earn the right to live peacefully"
"And you sure, you want to create a kingdom on their territory. We are only able to keep on the whims of a few monstrosity?" Haldi finished his monologue with a question.
Satvik sighed heavily and leaned back on the sofa he was sitting on, right in front of Haldi. Satvik then looked towards the ceiling as if thinking of something.
The room had turned silent, none said a word for the moment.
Haldi knew very well that the kid in front of him might have some plan like always. Although Satvik had made some stupid suggestions many a times but he always had some reason and plans to back it up.
Haldi eagerly waited for Satvik's reply for what felt like eternity.
Then Satvik finally said, "Leave the demigods to me."
Haldi waited for a few more moments expecting that Satvik would give further explanation but the latter just looked at him without saying a word.

"I want to know the detailed version of your plans and details on how you are planning to deal with 11 demigods. You were lucky enough to get chummy with the peafowl pair, but it won't work like that with others."
"Just have a little faith in me, okay? I'll handle them by hook or by crook. You just have to handle your duties befitting to a king, your Majesty" said Satvik to massage his ego a little bit.
Haldi didn't want to say it but it had a nice ring to it.
Satvik looked at Haldi's blissful expression and laughed internally and thought, ' I wish dealing with other demigods would be as easy as dealing with him.'
"Meera" Satvik called out his fanatic maid.

"I have another mission for you. Will you accept it?" said Satvik.
"Anything for you, master. Want me to take your virginity?" she asked with a gentle smile.
Satvik ignored her previous comment as if he never heard it and said, "I will give you rights of my share in the profit of this old coot's trade. I want you to go and look for other dark elves who are enslaved and bring them in." said Satvik.
Meera's expression changed a little and she said in a serious tone, "I'm not against the idea of you buying more women, you deserve it. But at least let me have your first time before any of them."
