Then he tried to open his eyes but could only one of them as the other one was swollen shut and the dark knight welcomed him on his return.
Breathing was hard for him, his whole body was aching due to several fractures throughout his body.
He was feeling weak due to blood loss from his left arm but he still scraped himself up and with one step at time started to look for Kavita.
The Clux guild members had already left and he hoped that Kavita was successful in running away.
He entered the house while limping and saw that Kavita was on the bed and looking at him with a gentle smile.
He thanked the gods that nothing happened to her and while limping started walking towards her.
"T...nk G.d ..u're s..ll al..e," she muttered while looking at Satvik.
Satvik's step came to a halt. There was something wrong with her voice.
Satvik used his skill and his eye turned Scarlett and he couldn't believe what he saw.
Kavita had been using illusion magic.
She was laid on the bed covered in burnt marks and bruises all over her body.
The bedsheet was covered in a mixture of blood and se**n.

With every vow his heart clenched with pain.

After taking a brief pause he muttered "Now that you have taken six vow with me and I am delighted. Would you promise to fill my heart with the same happiness for the lifetime?"
As soon as he said that more tears started flowing from his cheeks.
"he..h..e of of...cours..e!" she said with a slight smile and tears flowing down her cheeks as well.
"we are now husband and wife, and now we will stay together for eternity" he said and gently kissed her lips.
Kavita had a blissful smile on her lips and her eyes lost the light as she passed away after her last wish was fulfilled.
"Kavita?" he mumbled while shaking her but she didn't respond.
"Hey Kavita? Don't do this to me" he said while panicking.
But there was still no response.
"Noooooo!!!!" he mumbled while putting his face on her chest and crying his heart out.
After a few moments while Satvik was still crying all the joyous and sweet memories of Kavita kept playing in his head.
Then Bura entered the house with a shocked expression as he saw Kavita's condition.
"No!"

"No! this was not the part of the deal" he muttered with a sorrowful expression as he fell on his knees.
He only had offered money to teach Satvik and other maids a lesson and specifically stated to leave Kavita alone.
While Bura was looking at Kavita's body and Satvik was wailing, they both heard the sound from the bell tower marking the beginning of a new day.
After hearing the bell, Satvik wailing stopped.
And when the bell stopped, the room once again became silent, but Bura heard the sound of bone creaking.
Then he looked at Satvik whose physical appearance started to change.
Before Satvik stood at 178 centimetres and though he had lean muscle, his body structure looked frail similar to that of a woman.
But now he stood at 185 centimetres and had gained enough muscles as if his muscles were magically inflated.
Then Satvik stood up from the bed and walked towards Bura.
With every step, his posture became more sturdy and Stoic.
Then when Satvik was a few inches away from Bura, he held him by the throat, digging his fingers in his neck and lifted him up.
"Ack..!" Bura let out a choked moan but Satvik ignored it.
All his focus was on a holographic screen that was only visible to his eyes.
