The Guild Manager of the 'Medini Adventurer's Guild' entered a room in the basement of the guild complex.

The room was dimly lit and had a huge rectangular table with a set of five chairs facing each other.

On the nine chairs holograms of humanoid figures could be seen sitting and the guild manager rushed in and sat on the last empty chair.

When he settled down on his chair, the doors of the room were shut from the out leaving the guild manager and a few top representatives from the guild who were standing in the background.

A woman came forward and after bowing to the guild manager and the holograms, began introducing the member sitting at the table one by one.

"Ekaant Dragona; Dragonewt, the Dean of Medini Academy."

"Dooshan Narvana; Rakshasha, outcast Prince."

"Tisha Daian; Witch, the Scroll Queen."

"Chaaru; Light Elf, the outcast General."

"Paanchang; Tortoise-kin, the oldest Demigod."

"Chaalava; Dark Elf, the Legendary Assassin."

"Saptami Saundariya; Fairy, the Queen of beauty."

"Aastha; Garuda, the outcast Queen."

"Noah Masquerade; Human, the Manager."

"Daksh Lohaar; Dwarf, the Legendary Smith."

After taking their names and titles, the woman bowed again and walked back into the corner of the room.

"I really want to know, who had suggested starting this meeting in this cringiest way possible?" asked Saptami in her shrill voice.

She was one of the people who held the title of the "Strongest" like the other nine members who were present at the table.

Her tiny-racial feature could never bar her strength and complimented by her divine beauty and charm, she was one of the strongest existence against the male beings on Medini.

Even the hazy monotone hologram couldn't hide her beauty while she complained with a pout.

After hearing her question, everyone yelled "Noah" in unison and their gaze was now fixed on the 'Guild Manager.'

"I was still young back then!" said Noah in his defence.

He was a human and his white hair slicked hair, grey mustache, and wrinkly skin told tales of his old age.

He was around 178 centimeters tall and was adorned in a dark grey three-piece suit. He had an aura of nobility.

"So why were summoned?" asked Paanchang from Noah with a curious tone.

Paanchang was the oldest demigod out there. Some claimed that he was more than two thousand years old but he only denied those claims.

He was a Tortoise-kin who already had a life span of 500-600 years and his demigod status only further increased by leaps and bounds.

He was a bald wrinkly old man and his torso which was similar to that of a tortoise and was the dead giveaway of his race.

His figure was mostly hidden beneath a loose cloak he usually wore and it helped surprise enemies with his fast and powerful fists.

Everyone nodded after hearing his question and their focus was now on Noah, who had asked for this meeting on an urgent basis and they had to prepone their annual meeting by a few months.

Noah then threw a gem on the table and from it, a hologram projection of a young teen popped up while looking at the projection he said, "Just found another interesting youngster."

"What are we looking at?" asked a fully cloaked man.

He was Chaalava the legendary dark elf assassin. Very little information was available about him and his existence was shrouded in mysteries.

"Only the dead knew about him!" these were the words on the streets regarding him.

Noah breathed a sigh and muttered, "An Apostle!"

"Again!"

"Another one?"

"Why?"

"Sheesh!!"

The meeting was now chaotic and each one had a different reaction with one thing being common, they all knew very well that the world would soon turn upside down.

Paanchang was the calmest of them all and he only spoke one phrase, "False Gods?"

Noah nodded in response and everyone was also shocked by this revelation.

"They took their sweet time," said Aastha while folding her arms under her breast.

She had a serene voice. Long and thick hair that reached her waist and a huge pair of wings protruding from her back.

She was from the Garuda race and had a close resemblance to the angel race with talons instead of feet and usually stayed in hiding due to the fact being a top priority of the slave traders.

Garudas as slaves were next to elves on the list of most desired slaves. Hence, they despised humans and were quite hostile towards each other for ages.

"Someone is happy," said Daksh, the legendary Dwarf.

He looked like a buffed-up child with a heavy beard and mustache. His rugged appearance suited well to his lifestyle of being a smith.

He had a jolly personality and though most of the time he was drunk enough that even his breath laced with alcoholic fumes could turn him into a fire-breather.

"Of course she is. She is a strong devotee when it comes to them. Especially, Lord Garuda if I remember correctly," chirped Saptami.

Aastha didn't say anything but her gaze fell in order to hide her blushing face. Her race was one of the races which still prayed to the fallen gods.

"Tch!"

Someone clicked his tongue and everyone turned to look towards the person, specifically the dragonewt.

"You look pretty annoyed?" questioned Noah from him with curiosity.

Though everyone had a mixed response, none had shown clear-cut displeasure like him.

After letting out a defeated sigh, he spoke, "My brothers and sister are turning devout followers of Ashanti one by one and even have started doing his bidding."

"They have even started rebelling against my father and me. Their actions are getting out of hand and now an Apostle of the other side have appeared, things will definitely turn ugly for them."

"No matter how stupid they act, they are still my family and one day I've to step in," he said while holding his forehead.

Aastha, Charu, and Saptami stood up and spoke in unison.

"""Oh will ya?"""

The hostility in their eyes was quite visible.

The atmosphere suddenly began heavy and Saptami was the first one to speak, "You know, your pesky kin was spotted near my territory with hostility and they were not even subtle about it."

In response to the declaration of the Fairy demigoddess even Chaaru, Tisha, Aastha, and even Paanchang nodded affirming that they have witnessed something similar.

After pausing for a while Saptami continued, "I haven't taken any actions yet but let me tell you, your kins are getting quite chummy with those humans from Theocracy."

"They have joined forces and attacked demigods and demigoddess and their territories in the name of their "Lord," many people have come to me requesting refuge and my help."

"I've avoided any direct interference due to our vow of neutrality and only given them refuge. But if you're about to break that vow...."

She stopped talking for a moment and looked around and found several other members nodding while looking at her.

Ekaant frowned after he saw that she turned silent and others were nodding, subtly stating their intention with the changing circumstances.

"At first I thought this meeting was preponed to discuss this. But as things are going on, I would suggest you put some leash on your troublesome family members," suggested Tisha.

She was dressed in a robe and a huge magic hat with a huge staff resting on her lap. Witches and wizards claimed that they were high-humans who have shed the shell of humanity while becoming one with the mana.

They were not as arrogant as High-Elves when it came to flaunting their high and mighty race but would make some subtle demonstration in the meanwhile to remind everyone of their mighty existence.

Hearing her rude comment Ekaant lost his calmness and growled at her in response to which she giggled in a sultry voice.

"Hehehe~"

"Don't you bare those dirty fangs at me puny lizard and just take my advice otherwise this council will fail and once it does...let's just say you're losing allies," she said while pointing at others in a tone filled with disdain.

"Will you guys calm down for a second?" said Noah while holding his forehead between his palms.

"Hmph~" Tisha humphed and covered her face with her giant hat and never uttered a word.

While the other members were still glaring at Ekaant.

"Why are you guys acting like teenagers?" mumbled Noah while looking at the other members.

Aastha looked at him with a neutral gaze and said, "Because, unlike you humans and dragons, our race is being pushed to the brink of extinction by your beloved Lord Ashanti!"

Noah shook his head and said, "You know very well that I'm not his believer, Aastha!"

"I don't know about that but I can guarantee one thing, I can't remain neutral anymore, survival of my race is at stake."

"If this new Apostle ever calls for my help, I will respond. You all can hate me, I don't care," said Aastha.

Saptami raised her hand and said, "Count me in."

Chaaru frowned and while looking at Saptami said, "I didn't know you were a believer of the false gods?"

Saptami shrugged and while shrugging her shoulder muttered, "Have you ever heard of a saying that goes like, 'Enemy of my enemy is my friend,' princess long ears?"

Chaaru growled and muttered, "Don't ever call me that, lady-bug."
