Cain’s parents provided him with thick magic books, abundant materials, and professional feedback. However, as parents, they couldn’t give the love that a child deserved. Being magic users devoted to their craft and belonging to the inquisitive Magic Tower, they didn’t want to spend much time caring for their child.

They created something called ‘Nannybot’ to raise Cain. Nannybot was a mini-golem with nanny functions, feeding Cain at designated times, taking him to the bathroom, reading books, and more. Cain attached affection to Nannybot when he was young, but the problem was that the golem had no emotions to return and completely broke down when it malfunctioned.

Cain repaired the broken Nannybot when he was three years old. In the magical world where it was natural to bring in a new golem if one broke. Cain’s ability to restore the shattered Nannybot caught the attention of the Magic Tower wizards.

‘If I use magic, people will notice me.’

Cain might have thought so. Therefore, he became even more obsessed with magic, studying it greedily, sacrificing sleep and meals for research, and developing new magical formulas. With innate talent combined with effort, no one could surpass Cain. At the tender age of twelve, he achieved the 6th circle, surpassing the 42nd floor of the Magic Tower where his parents resided. And at some point, he became the youngest Magic Tower Lord, having the top floor all to himself.

Yet, he was still alone.

I walked towards Cain. He had a face that seemed either embarrassed, muttering something that sounded like a curse.

“Excuse me.”

When I tapped his shoulder, Cain sharply reacted, leaning back.

“Why, what is it again!”

I wanted to suggest having dinner together with him. Or try talking to him more. Or even suggest going to the village together next time. It wasn’t necessarily for increasing favorability, just a small amount of sympathy.

“By any chance, maybe later…”

However, at that moment, an ominous Ding-dong sound.

1. (Seductively lying on the bed) Experiment with me quickly.

2. (Pulling open the gown) Do you want to play doctor and patient?

3. (Taking off clothes) Can we start now?

“Ugh… What the… Fuck… “

Profanity involuntarily leaked from my mouth. Cain widened his eyes.

“Did you swear at me just now?”

“I didn’t do it to you.”

[If not selected, the Bed Scene will start automatically. 5, 4, 3…]

Yeah, I momentarily forgot that this game was hell-bent on destroying me, the daffodil, in order to somehow make me lose my chastity and innocence.

I had to choose the least explicit option among these three. With one second left, I mentally chose option 2. It seemed like my best choice.

As soon as I chose option 2, my hands moved on their own, spreading open Cain’s white robe. Cain’s firm and broad chest was exposed.

“What, what? Why are you doing this?”

Cain tried to step back, but my tongue was quicker.

“Do you want to play doctor and patient?”

“What?”

Even if he didn’t understand, right now, I must have been looking at Cain with an incredibly sexy and provocative gaze. Cain’s face turned red.

“You, right now…”

He started to say something, but the compelling force of the choices had ended. Using my writs and pulled his gown tightly downward. The collar of the white robe straightened.

“You transformed into a doctor once, right? A chubby old man doctor, wasn’t it?”

“Huh? Uh, well….”

“How about transforming into that doctor again? No matter how you think about it, transformation magic is fascinating. And then, let’s play doctor and patient.”

Sure, that sounds natural.

I smoothly pulled the gown, and a bit of the redness faded from Cain’s face. He nodded as if this explanation made more sense.

“What, was it something like that? Well, my transformation magic is indeed unrivaled.”

“Yeah, yeah. “The best genius magician.”

Cain scratched his cheek and simply gloated. Fortunately, he was a character thirsty for praise and affection. It wouldn’t work on Khan, and Alan would probably catch on but play along. As for Hunter… the one highest favorability hunter would probably get an erection again.

With increased confidence, Cain removed my hand from his gown, closed his eyes, and the appearance of his figure subtly changed without reciting spells or performing anything special. It was still amazing to see. His robust and large body became thinner and smaller. The once fair and smooth skin was now covered with wrinkles and spots, and the sparkling eyes turned dim and yellowish.

“This is a transformation so remarkable that it might instill a fear of aging….”

I murmured, and Cain, with thin lips, smiled.

“Magic can alter and defy the nature of things. But before that, you need to understand.”

A metallic voice, similar to that of an old man, echoed.

“All living beings age and eventually die. Even a dragon, said to live for over a thousand years. It’s not something to be afraid of. It’s something to understand and accept.”

Then, with his height lower than mine, he lightly tapped my chin to avoid causing pain.

“But when you’re young, you also have to enjoy that youth. What’s there to be afraid of?”

He grinned like a mischievous child. However, right now, he seemed more like a wise old man leaving behind a proverb.

“Yes, sir…”

“Now, go lie down on the bed.”

“What? Why?”

Is he going to attack me with the body of an old man? I suspiciously stared at him, and Cain grinned. The sagging earlobes, lacking elasticity, hung loosely over his plump cheek.

“Let’s play doctor and patient.”

“Oh.”

I nodded and obediently went to lie down on the bed.

“Why are we doing something like this? I swear, it’s not like playing with a child. Aren’t you younger than me? This is why non-mages are like this.”

As he spoke, he flicked his fingers, conjuring a royal-blue bag out of thin air. He took a stethoscope from the bag and hung it around his neck.

“Where does it hurt, patient?”

“Um… I have a bit of a fever.”

Wait a minute.

If he suggests taking off clothes to bring down the fever, it could lead to an erotic situation. Or if he says he’ll prevent coughing by blocking the throat and makes me perform oral sex, what should I do? Or if he claims he’ll relieve stomach pain by putting something of his in my belly?

No matter what I say, it seems to lead to some inappropriate situation. I groaned and pressed my hand to my forehead. Cain, holding the stethoscope, just stared at me in silence.

“Is it really hurting? Your acting feels so realistic.”

Cain chuckled and placed the stethoscope on my chest.

“Ew! What are you touching?”

I shouted, pulling the blanket up to my neck. In response, Cain shook the stethoscope.

“I need to listen to your heartbeat for a proper examination! Do you have a heart? don’t you?”

“Put it on my head! Don’t touch my body!”

“Come on, where did you ever see a doctor putting a stethoscope on someone’s head?”

“Why are you so serious about playing doctor in the first place?”

“You suggested it!”

After we both yelled like whales for a moment, a brief truce settled. He then cheekily placed the stethoscope on my forehead.

“Your head…It’s really hard-headed. Incredibly foolish.”

He said with a mischievous smile. His attempt to attack me was ridiculously childish.

“I’ve been infected by a magician named Cain. What should I do, doctor?”

And, speaking of childishness, I wasn’t innocent either. Cain’s gaze sharpened at my words.

“As far as I know, Cain is a genius magician, possibly the youngest Tower Lord in the Melian Empire, or rather, across the entire continent of Lecias. He’s on a different level than a patient with a hard head.”

“Oh, really? That’s odd. Are you talking about the red-haired and ill-tempered Cain?”

“Is his temperament filthy? It’s more like a peculiar trait that accompanies a genius.”

“Weird. You sure you’re talking about Cain, with the red hair and dirty temperament?”

“Is his temperament dirty? It’s just the eccentricity that comes with being a genius.”

“Oh, come on, Teacher, you must not know him well. He screams and curses a lot, has a quick temper, and is very unpleasant.”

As I spoke with a suppressed laugh, Cain lifted the stethoscope from my forehead. His somewhat wrinkled jaw seemed even more pronounced. After a moment of contemplation, he stood up.

“Darn it. I’m not doing this!”

Then he opened the door and left. As he exited, the door made a loud bang, closing behind him. Lying alone on the bed and still bewildered, I stared at the closed door.

Did he really get upset…?

I quickly got up, opened the door, and went out into the corridor. At the end of the corridor, I saw Cain, who had already dispelled the transformation, walking briskly. The letters above his head glowed blue.

[Cain/Lord of the Magic Tower/Whimsical Genius/ favorability 13]

Even the favorability dropped! A male lead whose likability drops because of playing doctor, is this for real?

“Cain! Hey, Cain!”

I called out to him as I ran towards him. His steps briefly halted for a moment, and then he walked even faster.

“Hey! Stop!”
