Cain didn’t stop. He ignored my words and went to the lower floor. I followed him down the spiral staircase, observing his broad back, the white hem of his gown swaying near his thighs, and his long legs moving fast.

“How far are you going?”

“Stop following me!”

Even from a distance, I could see his ears turning red. Cain seemed determined to shake me off and started running down the stairs and down the hallway. There were many closed doors in the hallways, but only four had name tags among them. Cain opened the door labeled ‘Heron’ and entered.

I extended my foot before the door closed. I was worried about what would happen if the door closed without regard for my foot, whether it would break or not, but fortunately, that didn’t happen.

I entered Heron’s room. Cain looked at me with a puzzled expression. However, contrary to his expression…

[Cain’s likability has increased by +10!]

[Cain’s likability is now over 20, triggering the ‘Lucky Lust’ event!]

Likability increased by another 10 points. An event was triggered again.

Was he happy that I followed him to the end? Was this person really someone who wished for someone’s attention and affection to this extent?

I wasn’t particularly afraid of the event being triggered. Now, Cain looked completely like a child in my eyes. As I thought about it, he shouted with a pout.

“Why! Why did you follow me and make that expression?”

“It’s nothing. By the way, is this Heron’s room?”

I looked around the room and looked around the room. The room was very spacious. I hadn’t noticed it from the corridor, but inside, it had the structure of an average house. There was a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. There was also a small closed room with a door.

“Right. And Heron is less skilled in transformation magic than me. He’s probably not even free enough to play such games with you. Heron has a worse personality.”

After Cain grumpily spoke, he forcefully opened the door to the small room without even knocking. To my surprise, I heard Heron sighing inside.

“Please, knock before entering, Lord of the Magic Tower.”

“Hey, Heron, try transforming into anything.”

“Suddenly? I am currently researching the operational range of crop cultivation magic.”

“You can do that later. Transform now. Show it to him.”

“Really?”

Upon hearing that, I peered into the small room. There was nothing inside. Well, it might be more accurate to say there were no furniture or items, but the walls and floor were covered with intricate magic circles. Except for the ceiling, all sides of the walls and floor were entirely ink-black. Honestly, it looked like a location from a horror movie.

Heron, standing in the room with a quill in hand, looked neat and tidy. Cain was looking at me very calmly, as if he found the appearance of this room entirely normal.

Are all magicians like this?

“You’re a non-mage, right? Your Mana is a bit unique, though.”

Heron asked.

“Yes, I don’t know how to use magic.”

I answered calmly.

“It’s tiring for non-magicians. They think of magic as some kind of trick. To use magic, you need to understand formulas, have a starting medium, and have enough mana. That’s what I mean.”

Heron explained, seeking approval. However, Cain, who was seemingly bewildered by my presence as a third party, shrugged his shoulders with a face that seemed to convey mild confusion.

“Can’t you just use the magic?”

Heron sighed and made a groaning sound. It seemed like he was swallowing down curses. He turned his sad blue eyes towards me.

“Why do you want to see transformation magic? Are you interested in magic?”

“I am interested in magic, but you don’t have to show me anything specific…”

“Hey, are you interested in magic?”

Before I could finish my sentence, Cain rushed towards me and asked eagerly. Heron’s expression also changed slightly. He approached me with some interest.

“Well… because it’s fascinating. I don’t plan to return to the palace, and since I also have mana, I’m curious to learn… exactly.”

In reality, I couldn’t leave the Magic Tower until I saw the ending with Cain, but I did have genuine interest in magic. Is it possible not to be interested in reading people’s minds, transforming into someone entirely different, or teleporting from the room to a village? Even though magicians may seem crazy, I looked at the rather peculiar room with tired eyes and thought.

“Hey, then why didn’t you say so earlier! Do you want to learn magic?”

Cain asked, patting my back in a lively manner.

[Cain’s favorability has increased by +10!]

[Cain’s favorability has exceeded 30, triggering the ‘Air of Love’ event!]

[The ‘Lucky Charmer’ and ‘Air of Purity’ events overlap, automatically starting a bonus quest!]

[Bonus Quest: ‘Escape from the Smooth Pudding’

Reward: Cain’s favorability +5, Smooth and Glorious Hole

Penalty: None]

The blaring alarm was hurting my ears. Additionally, blue windows popped up one after another, illuminating my surroundings in a radiant blue light. The content was so shocking that if I were a bit weaker, I would have probably fainted on the spot.

“The reward is… sm-sm-smooth…”

It was too embarrassing to say out loud.

Smooth and glorious hole? What kind of hole? Could it be the hole I’m thinking of?

*Ding dong*, another blue window appeared.

[As long as you succeed, you won’t need any gel from now on~^_^b]

Don’t smile with an emoji. Don’t give me a thumbs up.

“Why are you suddenly like this?”

Heron asked, seeming puzzled.

But Cain kept his mouth shut, squinting his eyes while observing me. His red pupils quickly scanned my body. Finally, he stopped in the air where the system window was displayed.

“Suddenly, the mana has become denser.”

Cain said, approaching me step by step. He grabbed my shoulder.

“Hey, did you just use magic?”

However, I couldn’t answer. I couldn’t open my mouth. Because in the small room where we were standing, a sudden pink, transparent pudding rose!

“What is this…!”

I shouted, but soon I was engulfed by the pudding. I shook my head with my mouth closed. Whenever I moved my head, the pudding split into round gaps. Through those gaps, I could barely breathe.

Similarly, trapped in the pudding, but struggling separately, Heron’s eyes seemed to be growing as if about to pop out as he was also trapped in pudding. He was looking at a corner of the wall. Cain, too, was looking at the same place, as if he had made a promise.

When I turned my gaze in that direction, one of the magic circles carved on the wall was shining brightly in blue.

“Why did the spell he cast seem to go wrong? Why did it suddenly activate now?”

Cain’s voice was full of curiosity and eagerness to investigate. He stretched his arms and legs as if swimming, gliding through the pudding. His elongated and strong limbs effortlessly cut through the pudding.

For a moment, all of this felt like a scene from a very amusing B grade-movie. Pudding suddenly filling the room like this? If I escape from this pudding, I’ll gain the favor of that guy and a smooth anus as a reward? Is that considered a ‘bonus’ in this game?

Cain examined the magic circle written on the wall, and then he turned to me, seemingly realizing something. He gestured to me, and a blob of pink pudding crumbled through his fingers.

I swam frantically, doing a doggy paddle, and reached his side. In the process, some of the pudding entered my mouth, and it tasted very sweet. Oh well, it must be cherry pudding.

“I can see traces of your mana in this magic circle.”

I couldn’t say anything. Well, that was obvious. The presence of my mana was something coming from the game’s system. Since the system activated it, it was natural that traces similar to mine would appear.

“How did you do it? You said you didn’t know how to use magic?”

“I don’t know. I only found out about having mana not too long ago.”

“Are you an idiot?”

Cain teased me, but he didn’t seem entirely unconvinced. He placed his palm above the corresponding magic circle, channeling his own mana. Red light emerged from his palm, covering the blue light of the magic circle. Soon, black smoke started rising from the magic circle.

“Did you destroy it?”

Heron asked from a distance, his voice sounding muffled, as if shouting underwater.

“Yeah, it’ll be back to normal soon.”

As soon as Cain said this, the pink pudding turned into liquid and melted away. We fell to the floor.

There was a thud.

[Congratulations! ‘Smooth Pudding Escape’ quest completed! As a reward, Cain’s favorability increased by 5, and you gained a smooth hole!]

“Fuck…

I cursed without realizing it, profanity slipped out of my mouth. I didn’t feel any immediate change in my body, but maybe my area had indeed become smooth. While I was feeling down, Cain lifted one of my cheeks with his hand.

“Hey, let’s go to my room. I need to thoroughly examine your mana.”

The man, whose favorability towards me had reached 38, said with a greedy smile.
