“Del Narcissus? Ah, our apprentice? He was just here until a moment ago. Why? He’s quite useful.”

Phlos, immediately began to tell Del’s story. Khan, who had come seeking information from Phlos but had not expected to hear it. Meanwhile, Alan, who had frantically searched the north for Del as if possessed, welled up with tears.

“Now, where is he now?”

Alan urgently asked. Phlos scratched her cheek and replied,

“He went out in a hurry, saying there’s something urgent. I don’t know. Maybe he went to his room.”

“He’s just an apprentice, but strangely, he stays on the 99th floor. I heard the Magic Lord highly values him,” Phlos added. Khan’s face stiffened.

The Magic Tower Lord was famous across the continent. The astounding news that a twenty-year-old brat, also known as the a genus, had surpassed even the elder magicians and claimed the top floor of Magic Tower had been the talk of everyone’s lips since the beginning of the year.

Furthermore, he was known for his arrogance. It was said that even if the emperor called, he wouldn’t show up, he was being solely obsessed with magic. His exceptional abilities led people to understand that he was an once in a lifetime genius.

However, there was another reason why Cain was famous. It was the fact that he was a handsome man with flaming red hair and eyes like blazing fire. There were rumors that young noble ladies headed to the Magic Tower with their allowances just to catch a glimpse of the Magic Tower lord’s red hair.

Such a young and outstanding man cared about Del Narcissus? Moreover, giving him a room on the 99th floor where he resides. There was an unpleasant smell in the air.

Khan had come here with Alan, thoroughly searching the north and gathering information by asking around. During this time, within him, resentment and anger towards Del had grown.

Was his firm declaration of going to the garbage village with intense and unwavering green eyes all a lie?

Khan had seen many prisoners until now. They all lied as easily as breathing to escape the situation. Therefore, Khan, whether he wanted to or not, became trained in distinguishing between truth and lies. Without using any magical tools, he could gauge to some extent whether someone was lying just by looking into their eyes.

And he could tell when someone spoke the truth. Del Narcissus genuinely wanted to go to the garbage village

‘How dare you deceive me?’

If he found Del Narcissus, he would immediately imprison him in his castle. Always have his clothes off, so he can be punished any time, wearing only a fur coat on his naked body. It might be a good idea to tie him to the bedpost altogether. The thought of Del Narcissus, bound and crying beneath him, begging for forgiveness…

Khan stopped his thoughts, feeling a heavy pull in his lower abdomen, and took a deep breath. Since Del disappeared, he occasionally had to suppress the sexual excitement that surged. Disgust, anger, and desire always intertwined obscenely.

“Go to the 99th floor.”

Khan immediately left Phlos’s room. In the distance, the elevator, still stopped at the 75th floor, was visible. Phlos, shouting if Alan or he wanted to check anything, was not of concern.

99th floor. If he just took that elevator, he could meet Del Narcissus. The predatory instinct and the desire to conquer, reminiscent of hunting beasts or monsters, slowly rose up.

“You are my prisoner, Del Narcissus, the first to escape from my grasp, so you need special supervision.”

Khan’s eyes gleamed sharply.

“Just a moment!”

Khan entered the elevator, pressed the button for the 99th floor, and was about to close the door when a white hand suddenly grabbed it. A neat young man in a pristine white priestly robe, even whiter than his hand, entered the elevator.

“If you’re looking for Narcissus, please don’t forget the promise we made,” Alan reminded them gently but firmly.

The promise. Alan had searched all the hospitals, clinics, and even the homes of small-town doctors in the north, trying to find Del. He suggested the possibility that Del might not be in the north.

“Maybe he was severely injured in a carriage accident, and couldn’t have gone far?” Khan asked roughly, and Alan nodded.

“That’s what I thought. But since I didn’t witness the accident scene myself, he might have met a wandering priest with healing powers like me and recovered quickly. We need to continue searching the north and also look into other areas.”

In this world where there was a force called divine power, it was a valid hypothesis. So Khan decided to use his power as a Grand Duke for once. Under the pretext of capturing an escaped prisoner from the Ice Prison, he told Alan, “If you find Del Narcissus, I will imprison him in the Ice Prison. No sending him to the garbage village. I’ll personally manage him as a condition for the search.”

“Narcissus is Eura’s miracle! He is different from ordinary prisoners! If you plan to find and imprison Narcissus, please refrain from participating in the search, Your Grace,” Alan replied.

“I can as I please. Do you think you can?” Khan retorted.

“If I find him first, I will take him and go. The temple is an inviolable area that even Your Grace cannot enter recklessly.”

“Fine, okay. If you can find him before me.”

At that time, Khan genuinely thought that Alan was a shady person. It was because Alan’s eyes wavered when delivering the last words. He was lying. Could this guy named Alan be trying to possess Del Narcissus under the guise of a noble priest?

Soon, the elevator stopped on the 99th floor. As soon as the door opened, Khan swiftly exited the elevator faster than Alan. There were only two doors visible in the long corridor. Khan opened the one closest to the elevator first. The room inside was ordinary, with traces of someone living and necessary furniture, but there was no one there. Without hesitation, Khan walked out of that room and towards the other door.

Is he here? Del Narcissus.

As the door creaked open, someone turned to look at Khan.

“What’s up?”

He had red fucking hair.

“Mana vessel disappeared again?”

Cain’s first reaction upon hearing Khan and Alan saying they came to find Del Narcissus was that.

“Again?”

Khan pointed out, but Cain seemed uninterested in providing any explanation. He rushed towards a wall covered with drawers, opened one, and pulled out a bead about the size of a soccer ball. I have no idea how a bead of that size would fit into such a small drawer.

“Ah, it’s the Magic Tower Lord. If anyone has seen my mana vessel, no, if anyone has seen my disciple, send a signal immediately.”

He spoke to the bead, and Cain’s voice echoed distinctly throughout the entire Magic Tower. It seemed to have been broadcast simultaneously from the 1st to the 99th floor and even the garden.

While Khan and Alan were quietly amazed at this mysterious magical technique, they stood there quietly, waiting for some kind of response.

In less than a minute, a familiar voice flowed from the bead.

“I’m Phlos Prema. I was on the 75th floor until about 10 minutes ago. But why are there so many people looking for the apprentice today?”

After that, the bead remained silent for a while. When Cain nervously shouted, “Has anyone seen my disciple?” a tip came in, just in case.

“I didn’t see it myself, but about 10 minutes ago, there were traces of someone using teleportation circle”

“Where’s the destination? When Cain asked eagerly, a voice responded.

“Just a moment. Uh, it’s the village near the Magic Tower.”

The Village had several teleportation circle drawn in various places for the convenience of being the closest village to the Magic Tower. One of them was in Cain’s room.

Without saying a word to Khan and Alan, Cain rushed towards the teleportation circle. Normally, he would have used a transformation spell first before moving, but he was not in the right state of mind this time.

And Khan, realizing that Cain was going to find Del, immediately followed him. Alan, who was standing behind Khan, also ran after them.

“What’s this? Get lost!”

Cain was irritated by the men following him, but Khan and Alan shamelessly climbed onto the same teleportation circle as Cain.

“Geez…”

Rather than wasting precious time kicking them out, it was better to move quickly. With that judgment, Cain activated the teleportation circle. Soon, the three of them disappeared simultaneously.

In a brief moment, the three men suddenly appeared, surprising the people nearby.

Cain walked ahead, muttering to himself.

“Damn it, did the Crown Prince take him?”

And those words irritated the two already sensitive men.

“The Crown Prince?”

“Are you referring to the Crown Prince?”
