Andrea was in a good mood when he dropped Del to the inn and went to buy alcohol. He was so excited and cheerful that he was happy, considering he had been depressed for three weeks.

Andrea Sloane, the leader of the Cruel Guild and the Empire’s best assassin, volunteered to become an apprentice magician to watch the target he was monitoring. It was ridiculous. He shared a second-floor bed with other apprentice magicians in the Magic Tower, wore the robe of a magician and learned basic magical spells.

Still, it was okay. If he could only protect his body until he returned to the real Del Narcissus, he would have willingly entered a prison instead of Magic Tower. Since the Empire’s Daffodil had become the only light and joy in his life, Del Narcissus was his master.

At first, he thought the “fake” was wicked, but it turned out to have a surprisingly pure soul than he thought. A man who would cry, scream, and struggle to survive. That didn’t seem particularly special.

However, when he heard that the “fake” had endured many hardships by possessing Del Narcissus’ body and had the trauma of not being able to show his naked body to others, he strangely felt angry. Unlike the real Del Narcissus, who spent nights with countless men and women, the “fake” was like a virgin, who never slept with others. Yes, the anger he felt was towards the Second prince who tormented the poor child.

But the “fake” continued to evoke various emotions in Andrea, including anger. He did everything he was told because he wanted to go home. Whenever I asked him to go somewhere, the “fake” obediently followed, and even when fed strange and unknown potions, he took them without complaint. Sometimes, he even suffered from an upset stomach, he groaned, smiling weakly, saying, “It did look a bit strange…,” his actions and words strangely scratched Andrea’s insides.

It was funny that thought he was scared because he knew that Andrea was an assassin, he sometimes acted boldly and arrogantly as if Andrea would never harm him.He was bad when it came to alcohol, it was quite cute seeing his face turn red and talk nonsense due to his drunkenness.

Then one night, Andrea thought that the “fake” had run away. He was sure they fell asleep holding hands in bed, but when he woke up, it was empty and cold next to me. My heart sank. If I hadn’t found the light coming out of the bathroom a few seconds later, Andrea would have run out of the inn and wandered around the rain looking for the “fake”.

Andrea controlled his expression and sighed. He calmly and leisurely approached the bathroom and checked the “fake”. And what he was able to confirm was the “fake”, no, Del Narcissus’s dick…

I don’t remember how I avoided that situation. In my head, I kept remembering Del’s pretty pink dick(even the dick was pretty!) and the white, slender body lying in the bathtub the night before, and moist lips. Whenever that happened, my lower abdomen became sore and difficult.

This is a physiological phenomenon that occurs because I saw the body of someone I like. Andrea thought so. At least that body is a ‘real’.

However, feeling joy with my whole body while riding a horse, smiling brightly at Andrea, and thanking him honestly were from the “fake” He reached out his arms to hug him, and he made a short sound with his tongue, showing off his cute charms were also from the “fake”.

When he saw the scene where the “fake” was being attacked in the area of fairies and spirits, he moved his body without thinking. It seemed that “fake” was afraid of him so he threw away his weapons and ran away. That was something that couldn’t happen to Andrea, he had always carried weapons as a child to protect himself, even more now as an assassin. But he threw away his sword because “fake” seemed to be afraid of it.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, and the matter was resolved, but it left a shock to Andrea. So, for the next three weeks, even though the “fake” avoided him, Andrea didn’t bother to approach or talk to him. It was confusing for him as well. The “fake” still seemed scared of him.

When Archduke Alexis and Priest Bait came to the Magic Tower, Andrea was a bit surprised. He already knew they were searching for Del in the North. After all, it was Andrea who caused the carriage accident to get Del out of the north, creating confusion in the search with several blonde decoys.

However, he didn’t expect them to come all the way to the Magic Tower. It was a miscalculation that Alexis, the Grand Duke, had a connection with a magician in the Tower.

But in the end, everything worked out well. Andrea persuaded the “fake” to come out of the Magician Tower, and for a few days, they hid together, waiting for the Grand Duke and the priest to leave.

The ‘fake” might be a bit uneasy, but for Andrea, it was like a vacation. They had a satisfying meal together at the guild’s restaurant, and had another round of drinks that were enjoyable.

“Don’t eat too much. Your body seems weak, and you don’t seem to handle alcohol well. Sharing one bottle should be enough.” With that thought, Andrea bought a bottle of wine and returned to the inn.

However, when he opened the door in a good mood, Andrea realized that this time, the “fake” had truly disappeared.

***

He searched for the “fake” in a panic, even suspecting if the Crown Prince, the Magic Tower Lord, or the Grand Duke and the priest had taken him. As they were all looking for Del Narcissus as well.

Surprisingly, the innkeeper, who was blunt and indifferent to everything, didn’t know who left or entered the inn. He just mentioned that since there was no loud noise, the person probably went out on their own.

Strangely, hearing those words made Andrea’s chest ache.

The “fake” had gone out on his own.

It was the possibility that he had pushed far to the back of his mind. They had been so happy together, sharing meals, listening to music, and having conversations. Andrea stubbornly insisted that there was no way he deceived him and hid his true self.

But what if the “fake” only targeted for that moment? If he only waited for that moment when he let his guard down, looked away for a moment, and vanished into the darkness?

Didn’t he escape like that in the North and the Royal Palace like that? Moreover, Andrea himself, who urged the ‘fake’ who said “he no longer wanted to run away anymore”, to do whatever he wanted.

“So…This is what he wanted.”

Andrea laughed in disappointment.

He no longer searched for Del Narcissus. He felt that nothing mattered anymore. Finding the real Del Narcissus felt meaningless. In the first place, the real Del Narcissus didn’t even know of Andrea’s existence. Though Andrea had always thought to himself as having unrequited love, thinking about it now, he wondered if that was really love. When he looked back at himself, he easily forgot the “real” and got swayed by the “fake”, it didn’t seem like love at all.

He returned to the headquarters of the Cruel Guild. Leaving guild operations to the subordinates, he spent his time idly on the second floor of the ‘A Cup of Sugar.’ Then the Crown Prince came, he had came for a request for the Cruel Guild.

If the Crown Prince was looking for Del Narcissus, why did he come to the Cruel Guild? Did he want to kill Del Narcissus, feeling betrayed because he disappeared?

That was out of the question. Even Andrea, who didn’t bother looking for the “fake” anymore, couldn’t accept that the Crown Prince would kill him. Andrea left his room for the first time in a long while.

Indeed, the Crown Prince had come because of Del Narcissus. However, instead of hiring an assassin, he asked for help in finding Del. He also knew that Andrea owned not only Cruel but also the Undice Guild. Andrea made a deal with the guild master of Undice a few years ago. No one else knew about it except for the guild master and himself.

“Your information network is impressive, Your Highness.”

“I will pay whatever it takes. Find Del Narcissus for me.”

Andrea tried to refuse. He wanted to leave Del Narcissus alone now. If he wanted to escape, if that was what he truly desired, why did he have to bother with the ‘fake’? Even if someone mocked him for being weak, he couldn’t help it. All his motivation had disappeared.

But then the Crown Prince said,

“Archduke Alexis and Priest Bait and the Magic Tower Lord have each set out to find Del Narcissus. We are currently searching together, but I know. The moment they find Del Narcissus, they will take him to their territories where no one else can interfere. And they will live the rest of their lives, forever hiding Del Narcissus.”

…Forever? Keeping Del Narcissus hidden just for themselves? That person is not the “real” one, he is “fake”.

“That’s why I need to find him first. Please, help me.”

A glimmer of determination appeared in Andrea’s pink eyes. His voice unexpectedly burst out of his tired heart, lacking any enthusiasm.

No, none of you have the right to find him. You are all just idiots who don’t even know that he is “fake” not “real”. Only I, only I know.

Andrea nodded slowly.

“Fine. I’ll find him for you.”

Yes, I would find him. Me.

I will find him and help him do whatever he wants. So he can escape from the clutches of those idiots.

Unaware of it himself.

It was the moment Andrea’s unrequited love took a new direction.
