Jiang Moxiu grinned when he saw her at work. After all the items were switched, she dashed forward again. He quickly held her hand and pulled her back, not letting her ignore him anymore.
“Alright, Baobei ~, can you not be angry anymore?” He only asked for her not to be angry, but he would never apologise. There was no need for an apology; after all, he’d done nothing wrong! They were a couple, so these incidents would naturally happen.
“I’m not angry.” She was still throwing a tantrum. She really wasn’t angry though. After all, she knew that between a couple, it was natural for them to desire bodily contact. However, this was her first time, so she was shy about it. Other girls would probably stick close to their man and coyly pretend to be aggrieved after helping their boyfriends. But in the case of Miss Xia, embarrassment was all she felt.
Jiang Moxiu smiled, but didn’t say a word. He simply lowered his head and kissed her forehead. Their fingers intertwined, they continued shopping around the supermarket.
The queue to the cashier was quite long, so Baobei laid her head on Lecturer Jiang’s back, as she scrolled through her Weibo.
When it was finally their turn, Baobei first placed the snacks that she wanted to bring back to the dorm so that the cashier could pack them separately. From the corner of her eye, she saw that Jiang Moxiu had his hands in his pockets, and wasn’t helping. When she looked up, she noticed that he was staring intently at a bunch of colourful boxes on a shelf beside the cashier, where chewing gum could normally be found. She was immediately stunned.
True enough, he reached his hand out and took a box, Okamoto 003 [2]. He put them onto the payment table, then thought about it and took another box. He repeated this action a few times.
“That’s enough!”
Unexpectedly, Mister Jiang looked innocently at Miss Xia. “These won’t be enough.”
“Damn you! What do you mean, not enough!” Baobei was furious once again.
