Throughout the meeting, she would shoot him daggers, especially when she felt the soreness between her legs.
She had to do her presentation standing up and she felt every little ache running through her muscles.
He had been brutal last night. She had merely messed around and teased him a little but the guy spent the entire night torturing her because of that.
She glared at him as she thought, "Is he really 40?!"
The area between her legs was so sore upon waking up that she had considered taking a day off to recuperate. However, he HAD to remind her of the meeting today.
He was fully aware that she would not be so irresponsible as to dump everything to Mrs. Smith at last minute.
Looking at his smug face, she cursed inwardly as she tried to maintain her professional appearance.
Mrs. Smith was going on and on about the M&A but DX was barely paying any attention to her. He was engaged in a telepathic battle with Kai Xin as they stared at each other.
It was as if they shared a dirty secret. He was the only one who knew the meaning behind her cold stare, and he was glad that he was the one who caused it.
A faint smile appeared on his otherwise stoic face as he thought about the event yesterday.
It was only when he noticed Callum glancing at him that he tried to hide it by faking a light cough.

"Those two…" Callum frowned as he glared at DX , "Exactly how close are they?! He actually broke the code and bring his personal life to work?"
When DX told him that he was going to use his company to merge with another smaller IT company that he thought would be good for the growth of K Holdings, he had not thought much about it.
After all, there was someone in IT Limited that he was interested in.
However, last night, while he was going through the work documents, he saw that K Holdings had employed the firm Messrs Lee & Lee.
He knew that the woman DX was seeing was working for Lee & Lee, and he had wanted to confirm it.
When he saw the woman at the parking lot, he was shocked and annoyed that DX used the company that he built for his own personal amusement.
"Is this really the guy who always warns me about separating my personal and professional life?" He complaint inwardly as he silently cursed the man sitting next to him.

She was confused by him because she was sure that they have never met before.
With his movie star looks, she would have recognized him if she had seen him before.

Even after 20 years of training, Callum was unable to keep his emotions bottled in.

She cleared her throat and quickly got the audience's attention back, "If Mr. Shenlong is fine, then we should get back to our discussion."
She quickly went through all the proposed amendments to the contract. Once that has been approved, Mrs. Smith started the discussion on the proposal on how to integrate the staffs of the IT Ltd.
"I think we should keep all the core staffs. I have done some preliminary research on them and they are all highly talented people. It would make the acquisition easier if we can assure the owner of IT Ltd that we would not be mistreating their employees."
Gao Qiu smirked, "Mrs. Smith, if we take all of their employees in, K Holdings would be overstaffed. If you had bothered to look at K Holdings' list of employees, all of them are talented enough. We don't need extra burden."
His condescending voice was noted by everyone present. DX frowned.
"Yes, Mr. Gao. However, I find it disadvantage for us to just terminate the staffs. The owner of IT Ltd had managed to get to where he is today due to his team. Each and everyone of them are important and highly experienced. With K Holdings looking to expand this year, I'm sure it would be easy for us to keep them."
"We are a business, not a charity. Do keep in mind of that, Mrs. Smith."
Mrs. Smith sighed and looked at DX and Callum, "President Du, President Shenlong, I truly believe that it would be best for us to keep the coreteam of IT Ltd if we want to continue the expansion of K Holdings."
