When he walked past Callum, he was back to his cold callous CEO persona.
Except that when Callum looked him in the eyes, it was not the usual icy gaze but the gaze of a demon that stared back at him.
As he glared at Callum with an emotionless face, he ordered, "Get this piece of shit out of my house. I don't want him here when the twins come back. Get rid of any trace of him and lock him somewhere for now. Also, tell my mother that I am tired and not to be disturbed. If she throw a fuss, tell her that this would be the last time I would let her pimp me out and I don't care if it is for charity or anything else."
Callum nodded and as he watched the man walked away, he thought, "To have a son like him...The Shangguan legacy has definitely ended."
DX would not just end things with the perpetrator. He would definitely go after the person backing him up.
Callum then turned to his guards, "You heard him. Lock that thing in the basement of the safe house. Clean the room and make sure there is nothing that can trace him back to us."
DX went to his bedroom on the third floor with Kai Xin complaining softly in his arms. He gently lay her down on his King sized four poster bed before removing the comforter from her. She was sweating so profusely that the comforter was soak with her sweat.
"DX, don't go…" Kai Xin groaned and grabbed onto his sleeve. The pain was getting worse and she needed him to relieve her of it.
"I'll be back…" He gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before heading over to the bathroom to take a quick shower. He had been entertaining his guests the whole evening and he did not want to touch her with hands that have touched others.
So that she would not be bored, on the way, he flipped the switch that would opened up the observatory that was right above the bed.
As the beautiful star filled sky slowly revealed itself, he noticed that Kai Xin had quiet down and he smiled when he saw her lying down quietly. She was hugging one of his pillows as she counted the stars.
He prepared a couple of warm towels to clean up her wounds and to wipe of her sweat. However, when he came out of the room, he saw a spectacular sight that made him went completely stiff.
