Without thinking, he silently and weakly went towards the bug. When he was a few centimeters away he stopped, making sure he wasn't noticed. After confirmation he made his move, Unconsciously using the skill Dash he tackled the caterpillar then swiftly bit it's head off.

The alert he received snapped him from his trance.
"What just happened?" He asked.

He felt relieved, although it was helpful, he didn't want to turn into a mindless beast.
"Now what?" Not knowing what to do.

"urggg!" He grumbled with disgustion.
Resigning himself to faith he took his first bite. But instead of the horrible taste he expected, he got the opposite.
"That's a surprise, i never knew bugs tasted good." He said intrigued.
[That's because you are a mouse, your taste buds are different from that of humans.]
".....Thanks for the correction. but with this i don't have to worry about food and xp for now." He said.
Saying that he ate the larva and went searching for more. After two more, he finally settled down to rest. Looking over the remaining information he received, he was awed and scared by what he learnt. In Astrol there is an energy called mana that creatures use to strengthen themselves leading to two cultivation path for the humanoids, The Warrior path and Mage path, The warrior path uses mana to strengthen their body. They also have the ability to manipulate elements they have affinity for to fight in both close and mid range battles. Under the warriors path we have Blacksmiths. The mage path on the other hand gathers mana into their body and compress to form a mana pool which they use to cast spells based on their affinity. It has three branches, The alchemist specialized in the creation of potions and magic scrolls, illusionist that deal with mind manipulation, illusions, and magic arrays, and Tamers who capture and train demon beasts as battle companions or sale. A tamer's rank determines the number of demon beasts he can command at once. While every other person can only sign a contract with one demon beast in their life. Their strengths are ranked from 1-9, while after that is the Saint, Demigod and God realm. There are realms above that but the information for that was not available to him until he reached Demigod realm. The stages for the demon beasts was the same but they take on human form after becoming a Saint.
