A few moments later Usopp was hitting Luffy with a thin branch of a tree continuously while telling him to dodge his attacks.

“I know! So, you better concentrate on dodging it.” Usopp said as he swung it again while telling him the place where he was hitting him similar to how he trained with Zoro earlier.

Hearing Luffy’s miserable shrieks Zoro and Sanji who were still in their earlier positions couldn’t help but feel pity for him. Usopp had told them that while he was training Luffy the two of them could try to form a mental image of the way he was teaching Luffy currently.
Needless to say, the image they had formed in their mind was not something they would like to experience thanks to Luffy’s constant stream of miserable shrieks.
This torturous experience for Luffy continued till it was time for dinner and Usopp decided that it was enough for the moment. He had expected Luffy to learn Haki at the same speed with which he did, thinking that it would be the same for Luffy.
By the end of the session, he concluded that because of being transmigrated he was blessed in some way which helped him in learning things faster. He could still see the injuries that Zoro incurred from Mihawk on his chest healing which also made it clear to him that his own unusual recovery rate was also a gift of transmigration.
‘Lucky me,’ Usopp thought to himself as he went to bed after giving the trio some pointers they needed to follow before they slept tonight.
The rest of the days went quite easy for Usopp as he had made the troublemakers busy with learning haki so his plan to stay here in Logue town without any trouble was going as per his plans. After giving personnel beating to the blindfolded trio Usopp let them beat each other turn-wise in order to make things easier for him.
This method was welcomed by them as they too wanted to let out their frustrations and this was a very good method for them to do so while still learning to feel observation haki.
With the time that he had gotten thanks to this, Usopp took Nami with him and visited several entertaining places in Logue Town. The first destination which they visited was built right beside the execution platform. It consisted of all sorts of things that Gold Roger possessed at the time of his death.
Even his robes were there for display to the public along with the description of the material with which it was made. After exploring the museum and learning new things about Logue town’s history they were searching for a place to have some snacks but instead of that, they ended up being pulled by an event promoter to an event which was meant for couples.
Usopp initially wanted to refuse but seeing the curious and willing eyes of Nami he decided to accept it. There were several other couples too that were pulled in by the promoters just like them which made all of them smile wryly at each other.
“Thank you for your time Ladies and Gentleman! I’m Jonny, your host. I know that our promoters were a bit forceful but seeing such potential couples in the town they just couldn’t help themselves,” The host even started his introduction by trying to placate the dissatisfaction of the crowd of people before explaining to them the rules of the event.
“Our event today is especially for couples. It consists of three stages and the degree of difficulty shall increase in each stage. Here are the rules…” The man began explaining the rules to the couples who all listened carefully to it.
It was a simple game. The couples had to be in a ‘stand and carry’ position while dancing with the men obviously doing the standing/dancing part while the women were the ones carried. They were supposed to be in this position until half the contestants couldn’t hold their partners any longer. In the second stage, the same process was followed until there were only two couples left. In the last and final stage was where things got interesting as in this stage it was the woman’s job to hold onto their men while the men were supposed to keep their hands to themselves.
“…So that’s all there is to it! The lucky couple today shall get to experience a candlelight dinner in one of the finest restaurants in Loguetown ‘Heart2Heart’. I wish you all the best!” The host finally got off the stage and got to work.
Hearing the name of the restaurant the crowds of people started cheering. “Is this restaurant famous?” Usopp asked Nami but before she could reply another blonde lady butted in as she said “You don’t know? Getting a reservation in this restaurant requires people to line up at its counter for six hours and only then they are able to get a reservation for the next day! Getting such an offer for couples is truly a godsend!” The woman explained to Usopp.
“Oh, thanks for explaining,” Usopp thanked the woman.
“It’s alright dear, come to think of it, you do look quite buff…if you don’t mind we can…” The woman gave a flirtatious glance to Usopp trying to make her intentions clear but before Usopp could get an opportunity to reply to her the woman was stared down by Nami’s fiery eyes.
“Back off you garden tool! That’s my man!” She groaned into her ears making the woman shiver in fright.
“Alright alright why are you getting so serious…it was all a joke,” The woman backed off from Nami and went back to her boyfriend who was waiting timidly for her. It was clear for anyone to see who held the frame in their relationship.
The instruments soon started playing and with it, the event started. All the women were now held up by their partners whose hands were wrapped around their waists lifting them up. All of them started dancing and moving to the beat as per the rules and waited for the people to start giving up.
It was a different case for Usopp as lifting Nami was similar to lifting a feather for him and he was enjoying the moment to the fullest as his body followed the music’s rhythm and moved here and there.
“U-usopp,” Nami’s words entered Usopp’s ears.
“Hmm?” Usopp responded.
“Your n-nose, it’s in my cleavage…” Nami worded out clearly embarrassed.
“I know, what about it?” Usopp asked in a playful manner with his legs still moving on the dance floor.
“Y-you knew?!” Nami said both embarrassed and a bit angry.
“It’s my nose, so, of course, I would know. You smell fantastic by the way so you don’t need to worry about it.”
Nami was speechless hearing Usopp's response but from the way his nose was continuously touching her cleavage she understood that he had no intention of stopping it. As revenge, she tried to scratch Usopp’s back with her nails but this was met with retaliation from Usopp’s nose as it started rubbing itself on her cleavage making her almost moan in front of the crowd.
Sensing her predicament Nami decided to let Usopp do whatever he wanted in order not to get embarrassed in public. Needless to say, the first and second stages were soon cleared by them easily and currently it was them along with the blonde woman and her timid boyfriend.
“We meet again handsome, how about going to the restaurant with me after I win this round?” She suggested as she gave Nami a provocative glance.
“For that, you’ll have to win first,” Nami glared back at the woman clearly irked by her behaviour.
With her competitive spirit fired up Nami wrapped her arms and legs around Usopp’s body from the front and held on to him as he danced to the music. A few minutes went by but there were no signs of any winner as both the woman held on to their partners inviting cheer from the public.
Seeing this situation Nami couldn’t help but become anxious as she was slowly losing strength from her arms. Sensing this Usopp couldn’t help but say “It’s alright if you can’t go for long…you don’t need to push yourself,”
“Why are you trying to demotivate me now? Do you want to go out with that blonde vixen?” Nami flared up at Usopp.
“Since she had invited me with such enthusiasm it’s only right for me as a gentleman to not refuse the lady’s kind invitation,” Usopp replied in a gentlemanly manner.
“Kind invitation my foot!” Nami rebuked in anger as she tightened her grip on Usopp with the intention of not letting go of him. Like this another five-minute passed and Nami’s grip started becoming weaker once again but seeing that her opponent showed no signs of losing, she could only grit her teeth in frustration.
“Are your hands about to give out?” Usopp asked innocently.
“What does it look like!” Nami said clearly exasperated by him.
“I can help lighten the load in your arms if you want, you want me to?” Usopp asked Nami.
“Of course! Tell me how? Tell me quickly!” Nami could only support herself for another minute at most so hearing Usopp's words she agreed without a second thought.
“Alright,” Usopp said with a smile as he jumped a bit on his leg making Nami almost lose her grip on him just when she was about to hurl abuses at Usopp for his act, her mouth which was now just a few centimetres away from Usopp’s face due to inertia got locked in by Usopp as he started an exchange of passionate kiss with her.
Nami’s whole mind grew blank for a few seconds as was unable to process what was happening. When her mind finally recovered, she found that her hand could hold onto Usopp no longer as they released themselves but to her surprise even though her hands were not wrapped around Usopp’s neck she was still in the same position as before.
The reason for this she soon realised was a long pole-like object which was creating a platform for her to sit on. Feeling Usopp’s tongue that was still passionately moving in her mouth things finally started making sense to Nami as a red tinge soon appeared on her face.
Embarrassed Nami wanted to immediately stop this act but from the corner of her eyes, she suddenly noticed that the vixen was finally struggling to keep up with her and in order to not let this opportunity go she could only hold herself there as she too started kissing Usopp back passionately attracting cheers from the crowd.
Another minute passed and with cheers from both the crowd and host Usopp and Nami won the first prize getting an opportunity to have a candlelight dinner in the famous restaurant ‘Hear2Heart’
Seeing the cheers from all the people around them Usopp thanked them for their support while Nami could only smile wryly preventing her urge to bury her head in the ground like an ostrich. This was probably the most embarrassing situation she’s ever been in her entire life.
When they were finally away from the eyes of the public Nami couldn’t help but glare at Usopp with wronged eyes.
“Why are you staring at me like this for? You only said that you wanted me to help, besides we’re both couples so what’s wrong with what happened today? It’s just a funny moment that we’ll look back to for a laugh in the future,” Usopp said.
“Stop acting like you’re an old man,” Nami glared back at Usopp but her anger had diminished a bit by now.
“Sometimes I do end up becoming philosophical,” Usopp said as he tried to comb his imaginary white beard with his hand inviting a laugh from Nami as the two headed towards the famous restaurant.
