Nagariel is poor.

Before determining this problem, there is another question: how poor can it be called very poor?

At least 20% to 30% of the people in nagalir have never owned their own money from their birth to their death.

It is difficult for people to count the income of ordinary people in a year, because most of their income is exchanged in barter. These things are also necessities of life and will soon be consumed in their daily life.

So that at the end of the year, their home may only have some more standing food, two or three more clothes, or a solid patch on the leaky roof. That's it, that's all.

However, the ruling class is living a life comparable to that of the upper class in some developed countries. It is a drunken life. It can be seen from the gold bound table in front of the governor that he is very rich.

Not only is he rich, but the businessmen who serve the ruling class are also rich.

In addition to having no absolute power in their hands, they have actually become a part of the ruling class of nagalil, and some people are even more powerful than the rulers at the bottom.

For example, Mr. Preston, the owner of the largest commercial firm in nagariel, has a deep personal relationship with most provincial governors.

Every year, the ruler here introduces various commodities and industrial equipment from abroad through Mr. Preston's way. The more people rely on him, the greater his influence that can be transformed into short-term power.

People can't live without him and hate him. He sucks blood like a vampire. For example, a luxury car that only needs less than 100000 federal sols in the producing country. He just pulls it to nagaril by boat, and the ruling class has to pay at least 300000 to 400000 federal sols for it.

But people can't live without him. The reason is very simple. There are many things that only Mr. Preston has access to, and he also has relative power at sea.

Even a hundred years later, people can't stop the occupation of piracy, let alone now.

There are many kinds of pirate groups on the vast sea. Some of them are said to have some relations with Mr. Preston. In addition to Mr. Preston's merchant ships and some other merchant ships, it is difficult for ordinary merchant ships to enter nagaril.

This also makes it impossible for people to bypass these businessmen if they want to import things from abroad, especially those with huge profits.

Even if the rulers of najal had their own way of contact, they were likely to be robbed and sank at sea.

Send troops to escort?

This is a good idea. Let's not discuss whether foreign ports and sea areas allow those warships in nagalil to dock close, whether the cost of dispatching warships is higher than the quotation of those businessmen, let alone whether they are opponents of pirates. Just energy consumption is enough to give them a headache for a while.

Nagalir is indeed rich in mineral resources, but these resources have not been developed, including an oil mine they have actually explored.

At that time, after the exploration team found an oil field hidden in the depths of the jungle, the first idea was to develop internationally. The leader of the exploration team did not consider allowing local indigenous people to develop, but chose to contact China and try to win the exploitation right of the oil field through political influence, whether coercion or inducement.

The incident leaked out before it was formed. After urgent consultations between the central government of the United Kingdom of nagary and the provincial governors, a man-made accident was created. The exploration team was accidentally attacked by a beast and finally buried in the belly of the beast.

In order to prove this, the official of nagary also sent a search and rescue team, successfully captured the predators attacking them, and dissected some identifiable stumps from their bodies.

From this time on, nagary refused the scientific research and exploration team to enter nagary for mineral exploration. They were unable to protect their underground mineral resources. Even because these mineral resources led to the loss of dominance of the ruling class, they simply did not give others a chance.

Everyone doesn't mine, so there will be no problem. Foreign countries have always been very confident that there may be rich mineral resources here, but no one will take it seriously until they really explore things.

Because of the uncooperative attitude of the central government of nagary, the capitalists will not incite their country to go to war with nagary because of some uncertain things, and they will still fight a theocratic country.

A characteristic of the theocratic state is that when people shout the name of the gods, the timid and cowardly aborigines in front of the artillery will become extremely brave and fearless of death.

The development of mineral resources needs to go deep into the jungle and occupy areas, which also means that if they do, even if they lay down some areas, the final situation will be rotten.

People's desperate suicide attacks are enough to burn everyone unless they can kill all believers.

For some uncertain resources, it is necessary to drag a country into a long offensive and defensive war in occupied areas. No one will do that.

There is no oil field of its own, which means that the military equipment and energy of nagalir depend on imports.

So even if nagariel's less powerful warships are going to go out, they must first buy some oil from Mr. Preston, and then use it to reduce their dependence on Mr. Preston

Well, this is bullshit. Compared with such a complex process, it's better to directly meet their demands for interests, so as to save some trouble.

The ruling class hated these businessmen and couldn't live without them, which is why governor degla's second son wanted Lynch to fight them.

If Lynch wins and Mr. Preston loses, then some existing rules will disappear with Mr. Preston's disappearance. Lynch has developed from a provincial businessman to a national big business. It is more than a few years. For local rulers, they have made a lot of money.

If Lynch loses, there will be no loss to the rulers. They can directly "confiscate" Lynch's local assets, and Mr. Preston will also lose some in the struggle with Lynch, and his attitude will be quite softened.

In the view of the governor's second son, this is the best choice. No matter how they choose, they are all winners.

Sitting at the back of the desk with his eyes closed, the governor thought quickly. He hesitated. His reason told him that this was not a good choice.

Over the years, he has seen through the essence of those businessmen. They are no different from the spotted wolves on the grassland. They are greedy, sinister, cunning, cruel and cold-blooded. They are not interested in everything except interests.

The wolves will have an internal struggle every few years. When the young wolves grow up, they will challenge the wolf king. After the wolf king fails, a new wolf king will appear. The number and territory of the wolves will continue to expand accordingly until they meet another group of spotted wolves.

Eventually, these spotted wolves will converge into a group, a larger and more creepy group, as will businessmen.

From the beginning, they fought on their own, competed for trade rights with each other, and even fought at sea. Now, after excluding those unstable factors, they began close cooperation. They are no different from wolves.

It's not a good idea to put Lynch into the wolf pack, because he is not an ordinary wolf. He is likely to cause a series of unexpected problems, just like asking him to make a statement this time.

Before that, no one knew that he would eventually throw the problem back and become a problem for them.

The governor shook his head and looked up at the third, "what about you?"

The smile on the second man's face suddenly froze. The boss, who didn't look very good, had some smiles instead. He even comforted his brother, changed his face in an instant and became a good big brother.

The third is younger than the first two. He has also studied abroad. He knows more about developed countries than his two brothers.

He calmly asked the governor a question, "why don't we choose to cooperate with Lynch?", and then he began to elaborate on his idea, "the ultimate goal of these businessmen and capitalists is to get more money. We can give him benefits, but he should also provide corresponding returns."

"He wants to monopolize, but our conditions are not limited to how much money he has saved in the bank, but how much return he has given us."

"Father, rich, everything is easy to do, and once we reach a cooperation with Lynch, Mr. Preston will regard Lynch as an enemy, because Lynch can't be with us!"

The governor looked at the old three who didn't show the mountain and dew at ordinary times. His words may not be completely in line with the thoughts of the governor, but it can be said that he has been very close.

He nodded slightly, which made the eldest and second look at the third, but the third smiled shyly, as if trying to please the two brothers.

The governor looked at the remaining two sons again. The two sons had nothing to say. The three people in front said what they should and shouldn't say. They didn't say it was OK at this time. The more they said, the more wrong they made, which only made the governor feel that they were very incompetent.

In fact, the governor is also very aware of the choice of these two sons. He has no criticism. Sometimes when he was born in such a family, the sequence of birth is really very important.

After a long pause, he sighed, "you caused the thing, so you should end it. I don't want to know what you did. I just want to see the result!"

Finally, he decided to give the choice of how to do it to these sons.

It is precisely because of this attempt to let them deal with these things that he unexpectedly found that the third brother has more brains than his two brothers, so he simply let them toss about, maybe there are unexpected surprises.

In case of breaking up, he can calmly stand up and clean up the mess.
