Chapter 183: Gathering of Demons

Mike breathed out deeply, he had just finished demonstrating the set of movements for the new class, about 6 months had passed since Julie arrived at the academy, the days had blurred together slightly as Mike taught his classes and spent his free time with Julie, though the time at the academy had been fruitful, Mike had time to perfect his training regiment for his future subordinates and he had even gained a new one, this was, of course, Nicolai whom he had personally trained for the last 6 months, right now the level 6 Nicolai could beat down a level 7 with just his raw strength, this made Mike realize that the movement set he had made was more valuable than he thought, thus as it grew more and more perfect he raised the requirements to enter his class accordingly
'It's about time we start the hunt…'
Mike sighed before he signaled for the students to start the set of movements while keeping his mind from wandering too far as he oversaw them and made sure none of them got crippled in the process of making the movements, after they were done Mike stood up and spoke
"That's it for today"
The students bowed slightly to Mike as he left the courtyard as his mind began wandering again
'Äcroding to Beel there's 2 new guardians of the wheel left… We need to snuff those out as soon as possible'
As Mike walked he spoke out loud
"Have you located them, Beel?"
Some time passed before Beel's voice was heard next to Mike
"Yes, though not their exact location… Are you ready to go?"
"Not yet, though tomorrow I will be"
"I see… Call me again when you are ready to go"
Mike felt Beel's presence Beel leave him again before he sighed
'I should visit Mel and Lucy…'
Mike walked towards Mel and Lucy's room when he remembered another place that they were more likely to be and turned down another corridor and soon he arrived at a palace that smelled faintly of animals, soon he heard Mel's giggle, he walked towards the sound and soon he found the two lovebirds and Charles that they had grown significantly over the past months and was now as big as a mini-van, he was the first to notice Mike as he let out a soft growl and lowered his head slightly, Mel looked back and saw Mike, she had a smile on her face, though she soon detected Mike's serious mood and asked as her gaze hardened
"General, have they been located?"
"Yes, we'll leave tomorrow, be sure to rest well"
Mel nodded and watched Mike leave, then Lucy suddenly hugged her from behind and asked slightly saddened
"Do we have to go?"
Mel nodded
"Yes, they will exterminate us if given the chance so we must do the same… Remember Lucy, we are the invaders, there'll be no mercy to be found from the guardians of the wheel"
"I know… I know…"
Mel sighed before her gaze softened and she whispered
"We still have a night here, what do you say that we walk around the academy one last time before going to bed?"
"...Sure, let's do that"
Mike walked on to a courtyard where a figure was running, his tempo was steady, his body well built and his gaze determined, this was Nicolai, he stopped running when he noticed Mike and jogged over before he spoke
"General?"
Mike nodded then he spoke
"Our timeline has been moved up, We'll snuff out your father tomorrow"
A cold glint flashed in Nicolai's eyes before he spoke
"Yes General… Then what comes after?"
"Then we'll pick up your sister and move to hunt two of our enemies, I don't expect much from you given your level, but I trust that you'll be able to move according to my orders"
"Yes General!"
Mike nodded before he clapped Nicolai on the shoulder with a smile on his face
"End your training here today, you want to be in your best condition fro tomorrow"
"Yes General"
Mike nodded before he walked out of the courtyard and back to his dorm room where he found Julie laying on the bed, she was swinging her legs in the air while reading a book, she asked without looking up
"What's up, Mike?"
"We found them, we're leaving tomorrow"
Julie looked up from her book and nodded before she asked
"Should we inform the principal?"
"...I'll do that if you want to read?"
"It's okay, this book wasn't very interesting anyway… Let's go"
"Okay"
Mike and Julie walked towards the principal's office and talked with him for a while before Mike informed that they would be leaving the academy tomorrow, the principal nodded and wished them the best, then as it was late they returned to their rooms and went to bed, cuddled in each other's embrace they slept rather deeply as the 4 level 8 Wind sprits stood guard outside their room…
The next morning Mike and Julie took a bath before they packed their things and walked to the courtyard where Mike had been conducting classes so far, it was empty as there wasn't a class scheduled today, there they found Mel, Lucy, Charles and Nicolai standing ready with their gear, wearing their armor with their weapons ready, Mike showed a smile and spoke out loud
"Beel we're ready over here"
A few seconds passed before Beel's voice was heard
"Good, I'll send the other's to you, one moment"
A faint vibration was soon felt over the entire academy as a rift opened up above the courtyard, form there the 6 other demon general candidates flew out and landed on the ground in font of Mike and knelled down, Mike showed a smile
"It's good to see you all, Alexander of Pride, Lucy of Lust, Alexa of War, Gas of Gluttony, and Maxwell of Pestilence"
Alexander's upper body was bare and he wore leather pants, he had two short swords on his hip and bowed his head low as he greeted Mike
"Demon General, your order is my will"
Lucy wore a tight-fitting outfit and had her trusty whip on her hip as a strong light of desire lit up in her eyes when she looked at Mike as she spoke
"Demon General, you have grown even more beautiful"
Alexa's eyes wandered over the courtyard, seemingly locked on a butterfly, she wore heavy armor and had no visible weapon, still, she greeted Mike seriously, which was a little unusual for her
"Demon General… Shall we play another song~?"
Gas wore a tuxedo and had a sledgehammer on his back that was a high as he was, he greeted Mike with a laugh
"Hahaha Demon General Mike, give me any order and I'll fulfill it with a smile"
Maxwell wore his grey robe with his scythe on his back, as usual, he looked rather pale and greeted Mike simply
"Demon General, what are your orders?"
Mike showed a smile as he looked them all over, then he looked over at Nicolai and spoke
"This is our newest recruit Nicolai, we're going to give him a helping hand with his daddy issues.. By killing his old man and freeing his sister, then we're off to hunt the new guardians of the wheel… Any objections?"
The 6 remained silent until Alexander asked
"What level is Nicolai's father?"
Mike looked over at Nicolai and gestured for him to speak, he quickly spoke
"He's level 9 and has tents of level 8 elite guards, they have access to some pretty hefty artifacts, so their combat powers are just below my fathers"
Alexander nodded before he lowered his head and spoke respectfully
"I have no further questions"
Mike nodded, then he pointed to Lucy and spoke
"This is Mel's woman, her name is Lucy… If there's any harm to her I'll peel a layer of all your skin"

The group soon felt a moment of weightlessness before the feeling set in for real and they realized that they were falling, Mike looked down and saw a giant castle, they were about 5 kilometers above the castle from where Nicolai's father ruled, Mike sent out a couple of mental messages as he summoned his wings and instead of slowing down he flapped them once to accelerate downwards as a red half-transparent barrier spread out around him, soon he smashed into an invisible barrier that was around the castle, a loud bang sounded out followed by the sound of glass breaking as the barrier broke under Mike's brutal assault, then he flipped once and slammed his feet down into the ground that cracked under him, only then did he begin to circulate his mana for real as he cracked his neck and looked around the courtyard he had found himself in, the nearby knights that had been training where blown away by the impact so only a few of them were still standing, Mike looked over at one of them and asked
"Where do I find the king?"
