Mike was currently looking at a border fort, as for why it looked good? That was because the presence of the new guardian of the wheel was closing in and was less than 2 days away, thus a defensible structure would be to their advantage as long as they secured it before the guardian arrived, thus Mike ordered that they secure the border fort

A few seconds passed before Beel's voice sounded out next to Mike

"...Can you send over a couple of dragons? 2 should be enough"
"What do you need the dragons for?"
"...Just a hunch, my stomach has been in unease ever since they closed within a weeks distance"

Beel chuckled for a bit before she spoke again
"It's good to be confident Mike… Just don't be overconfident"
Mike nodded before he spoke
"The last time I was overconfident was when I was enslaved…"
"Okay Mike, I'll send over the Dragon's now…"
Mike nodded, then behind him two rifts opened up before the two dragons passed through them, both of them let out roars towards the sky as they ascended above the clouds before they quickly descended down again and stopped in front of Mike as both of them spoke out

Mike showed a slight smile as he spoke
"It's been a long time, Azroth, Tairiss… For now, change to your more human forms"
[[Yes master]]
As the dragons shrunk Mike looked towards the border fort that was quickly coming under his control as screams of terror sounded out from inside the front Mike sighed before he mumbled
"I sure hope they don't destroy the fort completely…"
Azroth took position to Mike's right, while Tairiss took Mike's left, for a bit no one talked as they watched the fort form a distance, then Azroth spoke out to Mike
[Wouldn't it be faster if we helped out?]
Mike nodded
"Yes, it would… But this is also a form of training for them"
[I see, in that case, we'll watch over them]
Mike nodded again, meanwhile, inside the fort Julie danced with her sword as she swept through the hallways of the fort killing everything in her path, she moved with purpose as she had found the strongest mana signature in the fort and thus moved towards it, she wasn't the only one however as she met with Alexander on the way, the latter gave a bow to Julie as he greeted her
"Lady Julie"
Julie showed a slight smile before she spoke
"Let's take on that strong mana signature together… I'll lead, you follow"
"Yes Lady Julie"
With the two of them, the level 9 general didn't get a leg to the ground as he was quickly dispatched and then after a few hours the entire fort was cleared of people, Mike finally moved from his position in the sky and descended along with Azroth and Tairiss, then he walked around the fort once to make himself familiar with it before he introduced the two dragons to the demons
"This is Azroth and Tairiss, they are from the dragon tribe and both are my trusted subordinates, normally they protect the Wind spirit village but I felt that it would be appropriate to bring them here, out of caution of course"
Nicolai quickly asked
"Is the enemy that strong?"
"...Frankly, yes… Nicolai and Lucy I'll evolve you two later tonight, then you'll have to spend tomorrow getting used to your new strength"
Nicolai tilted his head slightly before he asked
"...Evolve? Does this give us more strength?"

"I will now use one of my skills on you two, it'¨s called [Evolve] and it will reinforce your level by one and make you immortal, the downside is that if you happen to die you will require blood to sustain yourselves, like Julie"
Nicolai nodded, so did Lucy before she turned to Julie that sat on the bed and asked
"How does blood taste when you are [Evolved]? Like normal blood?"
Julie showed a smile before she pointed her finger forwards and soon a piece of blood crystal pierced her skin from beneath and formed out into a rather long vermilion red crystal needle, then she spoke
"It tastes like the sweetest nectar, though it depends on the person or animal you drain it from…"
Julie's smile then twisted slightly before she spoke
"Especially the blood of young women in love, it's the sweetest I've ever tasted"
Lucy nodded, so did Nicolai, Mike looked over at Nicolai before he spoke
"What's on your mind?"
"...I'm just wondering how to explain all this to my sister"
"Well… I am sure she'll understand if you explain it all without leaving anything out"

"Well then, stretch out your hands"
The two of them stretched out their hands, Mike spun the knife around before he quickly passed it over their hands leaving a small cut on their right hand before he pulled the knife back and sheathed it, then he spoke
"Grit your teeth, because this is going to hurt"
The two nodded and gritted their teeth, then Mike spoke

Pain went through both their bodies as they trembled slightly, though they didn't scream out in pain, Mike watched over them for about half an hour until the evolution ended, by now their hair had changed to a vermilion red color, Mike clapped the two of them on the shoulder before he spoke
"I'll have Azroth help you back to your room Nicolai, as for Lucy, I am sure that the one lurking outside the door will help you out, rest well, We'll test out your strength tomorrow"
Nicolai nodded and stood up and walked out on slightly shaking legs, outside the room he was helped by Azroth back to his room, just outside the door he passed Mel that walked into the room and picked up Lucy in a bridal carry before she nodded to Mike and Julie and walked out of the door again, Mike walked over and shut the door before he turned to Julie that laid on the bed and kicked her legs as she read a book, soon she detected his gaze and put the book down before she asked
"What is it?"
"Don't you think it's time to tell me why you chose this room?"
"Well… Doesn't it remind you of the old days?"
Mike nodded before he walked over and sat down at the edge of the bed
"Yeah, a bit… When you still levied in the temple"
"Yeah… Back when we first met and I beat the shit out of you"
"Oh, yeah… Who would think getting slammed down on a stone floor would make me fall in love?"
Julie giggled a bit before she spoke sincerely
"I am very sorry about how I treated you, Mike"
Mike showed a smile and ruffled her hair a bit before he laid down next to Julie and gave her a kiss before he spoke
"I am kind of happy that you did treat me like that… Look where it got us?"
Julie nodded
"Yeah, I just wish I would have been nicer to you… Just a bit"
Mike smiled and snuggled up to Julie that also soon closed her eyes…
The next morning Mike awoke on the small bed next to Julie that was looking into his eyes, they were so close that their horns touched, Mike blinked a few times before he gave Julie a good morning kiss

"Yeah good morning Mike my dear…"
Mike looked at Julie for a bit before he suddenly hugged her and closed his eyes again, Julie was a little flustered and asked
"Don't you have to meet with the others?"
