Robin didn't bother to talk with David anymore and just left using apparition. He was still in anger mode after all that he spoke to David. Such a being had no business being on Earth, yet he had to keep him alive for the last scene.

"The Premier of China will visit in a month." Sigret said Robin came out of the cell. He didn't expect another thing to be handed over to him as soon as he got out of one situation. Robin actually didn't expect Vertigo to go solo and kill the 15 men who were sent to capture his parents.

He didn't object to it and even appreciated it. Such commanders who thought on such situations by their own were far better. So after knowing that Vertigo had taken care of the rest he wanted to go and capture David instantly but stopped because Sigret told him that David was dumping away cash and properties from all over the globe and giving it away. Sigret wanted to take over his firm gently while on a dumping binge, so the process was a touch lengthy.

Thus David was given a day.

"Since he wants to visit, let him. What is the big deal? The borders will open in a month anyways." To paraphrase what Robin said.

"But not all of North Korea had been modernized." Myrene said.

"That's all right. We have expanded the military more than required and we don't need anymore." Robin said.

"So you want open in 80% capacity and not 100%?" Asked Sigret. Robin agreed with that. All this time, he had waited for it.

"We don't even need 50% to bring down the nations of humanity while not losing a single soldier." Myrene made a remark.

"So its decided. The borders will open on September." Robin said.

"Yes, before that will you tell others?" Asked Sigret.

"Hmm. It's about time some people found out the truth about who I am. At the very least to a degree." Robin said. For a long time, he had thought about it. Of course, he would not want to expose his secrets to anyone but the thing was he would soon go to space for exploration and he didn't want to go alone. He wanted to go with some people who deserved to know. He could always return using the TARDIS, but doing so would be a chore for him.

If there were aliens out there, he'd rather have company while he made a reputation for himself by meeting them. Of course, he wasn't stupid to tell of his core secrets of he took things out from games but the people could be spoken about some of his secrets.

"All right, I'll set everything up." Sigret declared. He spent some time at the base, where he observed Lydia and Julius hard at work among the other soldiers, before heading back to his San Francisco home. He got a call from Cathrin just as he got home.

"Honey, guess what?"

Robin exclaimed, "What?"

"I got a brand deal with your miracle medicine and I can come to America in a few days. Tell thanks to Sigret for making this happen."

"Then I can't wait to meet you." Robin was overjoyed. Even though he knew she would show up because of his orders, he couldn't help but grin at her eagerness and joy. He couldn't wait to meet her. He spoke with Cathrin for a while, and then he called Rita.

After successfully completing the examinations, she was sent to work as a doctor in a remote area for a year. But Sigret stepped in and relocated Rita to a nearby region that the government classified as rural despite its close proximity to Guwahati.

She was now able to work and enjoy life in the metropolis without relocating. As a result of her husband's fellowship in Singapore, she would have to wait for him to return. Right now Rita was enjoying her life alone living on Netflix, food and sleep while working thrice a week.

She had no further needs or desires.

"Hi, how are you doing?"

"Hey.. I just woke up."

Even though it was night in the United States, it was dawn in other parts of the world because of the time difference.

"You've been getting a lot of rest lately." - Robin.

"I have worked hard for the past 8 years. Leave me alone." - Rita.

"Fine.. Fine.. Do you want to come to America?" -Robin.

"Huh! Say that again!" -Rita

"Do you want to come to San Francisco?" - Robin.

"Are you completely out of your mind? There's work to be done, so I must be here. I know that you have used money to make sure that I live close to the city but you can't manipulate my leave. That is impossible." -Rita.

"Are you sure about that?" - Robin.

"Oh, no! Nobody has so much power." -Rita.

"If you get the leave you will come to the States. Yes?" -Robin.

"Fine.. But you're exaggerating the impact of your financial resources." -Rita.

Both Robin and Rita proceeded to talk about things other than her being invited. She told him about her life and how her in-laws occasionally came to visit, while he told her about his current city of residence. America outside of America has mixed views.

Some countries and some people saw it as a paradise where there was freedom and everything, which was true. America had much freedom than many countries out there. However, many nations perceived this freedom as an illusion. The political situation in the country has reportedly deteriorated due to extreme polarization.

But that didn't mean nobody was happy where they were. There was a wide variety of individuals living in the vast land. The media has a history of focusing solely on negative aspects of society; this was necessary at times, but it could lead the public to forget that they need to focus on the bright side as well.

The United States had lost some of its global soft power in recent years as a result of its policies, but it was still widely seen as a superior nation. If one were to choose between America and China as a place to reside. Undoubtedly, most people in the globe, including some Chinese, would pick the United States.

This was true regardless of how many people chose to ignore it.

Robin after talking with her and later his parents, who were ignorant that their lives would have been hard if they weren't saved, went to sleep. He had an exhausting day and was feeling the effects of it.

August 3, 2023

Robin was in the airport arrival gate. Waiting.

Soon one of the arrival gate opened and two women came out while pushing their luggage on a trolley. Both of them were of Asian heritage, but it was clear that they were of different subgroups just by looking at them.

The two women were obviously Cathrin and Rita. But they weren't the only one who came. From behind, another man appeared; he was roughly the same age as Robin and also of Indian descent.

This was Sauvik. Robin's best friend since their college days.  He was as tall as Robin and had a curly hair overhead. His skin was much paler than Robin himself and was quite muscular. He had a round face with opal colored eyes, which was what made him look different from other Indains. The one individual who stuck with him through all of his university's difficulties. Robin didn't only call Rita and Cathrin to the States but also managed to get him a job in his own Darkstar company and his work was almost equivalent to doing nothing with a fat salary. When he was offered the new position, he accepted it without hesitation.

Of course, Robin was honest about the offer and promised a permanent position for him. Maintaining one's means of subsistence was crucial. When Robin's private plane came to pick them up, Sauvik realized his pal had gotten rather wealthy. Sauvik was more introverted than Robin. It was the two women who approached and talked with him.

Both Rita and Cathrin had heard a lot about this guy so they were curious about him. A few syllables at a time came out of his mouth, and by the time the jet landed at the airport, it was safe to say that Robin had spoken more than 400 total words.

When the trolley arrived at the gate, Cathrin jumped off and went into Robin's arms. She leaped into his arms and Robin caught her to support her while she kissed him. Robin was surprised by all the "love" he was getting , but he liked it.

Rita was disappointed that her husband couldn't come along, and Sauvik looked a little confused at seeing his closest buddy so mushy mushy with his girlfriend. She wished she could have received the same love from her husband here.

Alas! Some people were just privileged.

Cathrin slowly planted her feet on the ground and continued to hug him for a little longer.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"Stop with your PDA. I don't have my husband here to show off."
