The Air Domain was located just below the Water Domain. Xiao Fei'er traveled flew her children to the Air Domain without any troubles.

No beasts or stupid bastard managed to interrupt their journey and Xiao Fei'er was rather talkative as they traveled. She was trying to catch up with her children.

Wang Ling joined in their conversations some times, but he mostly chose to listen and quietly evaluate his family.

It didn't take long for them to reach the Air Domain, it took a mere two days before Wang Ling caught sight of a mountain range in the horizon.

"This is the Fleeting Sword Mountains. That peak beyond the clouds is where the Xiao Clan stands." Xiao Fei'er turned to her children and focused her sight to Wang Ling, "Ling'er, keep your challenge to yourself until we finish the introductions and have dinner."

Wang Ling nodded his head and calmed his mind.

The mountain range was long and the mountain peak Xiao Fei'er had pointed at was tall. Even with his eyes Wang Ling could not see past the clouds that hid the peak from the world.

Xiao Fei'er brought her children higher and higher from the ground. Soon, they entered and escaped the clouds. As Wang Ling floated above the clouds, he saw three peaks that was previously hidden.

Two of the peaks were training grounds. Wang Ling was sure they were training grounds as it had a large open area to it and there was lingering sword qi filling the air. Even from afar Wang Ling could feel the sword qi.

In between these two peaks was the highest mountain peak of the Fleeting Sword Mountains was a pagoda consisting of nine-layers. From afar, the pagoda resembled that of a temple where a god might reside in.

Wang Ling could some sort of strength that he had not felt before. No, he had felt it before, but it had been so long that he had long forgotten what it was.

Trepidation, his heart was beating too fast and the feeling of being oppressed appeared. It became harder to breathe.

As expected, Xiao Fei'er brought the three into the middle pagoda and as they floated just above the front garden of the pagoda, the figure of an old man walked out of the wide doors of the pagoda.

The old man was wearing a black robe and ash white hair that was embroidered with blue clouds. With a frown on his face and a pair of sharp eyes, the old man was intimidating.

Although Wang Ling categorized the man as 'old', he looked rather young and seemed to be in his early fifties. The so-called old man didn't even have wrinkles on his face, and his skin was just like flowing milk.

But his demeanor belonged to that of an old master.

[He's an expert.]

Wang Ling had seen experts before, but none of them could compare to this old man before him. Just his presence was enough to make Wang Ling feel tad smaller than him.

Xiao Fei'er saw this old man and her face beamed, "Father, for you to come here yourself. What happened to be stoic and indifferent? You also grew a beard and made it grow white wh…"

Xiao Fei'er's father stopped her from speaking, he did not wish to hear any words that might possibly embarrass him to the three children.

Xiao Jianfa had a strict face but as he stared at his daughter with an indifferent look on his face, the thoughts that run inside his head was, [Dear daughter of mine, don't embarrass your father like this in front of his grandchildren.]

The Cleaver of Mountains, the Butcher of Dragons, Fleeting Cloud Sword Master, and even the name Everlasting Bloody Sword had been associated in the name of the man named Xiao Jianfa.

But in all truthfulness, he was an eccentric who happened to have an intimidating expression and have an ardent love for sword fights and the path of the sword itself.

Xiao Jianfa was just like his daughter, free-willed, the only difference was that he was intimidating and his daughter was a goddess amongst women. She was his treasure.

Aside from the few disciples who he deemed worthy to enter the sect he had opened, the only person Xiao Jianfa dislikes who are close to him would be the man he wants to crush the most but can't, someone named, Wang Shu Qing.

Oh, he dreaded Wang Shu Qing, at some point in time he even tried separating his 'second head' from his body because of the act they had done with his daughter. It was a sight, but that was irrelevant at the moment.

Xiao Jianfa had Xiao Fei'er to act dignified and stop her actions, he spoke with her with his eyes. Xiao Fei'er decided to follow his orders.

[He wants to throw his weight around. This father of mine, he's truly adorable for someone with a moniker of the Butcher of Dragons.]

Xiao Jianfa scanned the three youths that was below the ten steps of the pagoda, his eyes was fierce and it felt like it could swallow the world. Wang Hong and Wang Yue were intimidated.

Xiao Jianfa had already seen Wang Hong on several occasions, after all, he had come here to train when he was young. He could see that he was improving befitting of his name as a genius.

As for Wang Yue, Xiao Jianfa was also impressed. He had heard Wang Yue had no ability to cultivate but it seems like she had got over that hurdle. Also, she was pretty and cute, he reckoned there would be a lot of men wanting to court her in the future.

On one side was Wang Ling who was sighing inside, he was not impressed. Although he was indeed pressured at Xiao Jianfa's first appearance, after what his mother had just announced, all the tension that had built up disappeared.

His muscles loosened as he stared at the old man, who apparently changed his facial features in order to show a dignified face. Though that dignity was destroyed by his daughter seconds after their arrival.

[So… this is the man that pressured me? For me to fall for such an obvious trick, I am beginning to see why I am unable to show my full intent.

[I need to gather myself, else I'll end up getting scared of Yue in the near future.] Wang Ling cursed himself.

While Wang Ling was belittling himself, Xiao Jianfa's gaze reached Wang Ling who was standing in the middle of the two youths.

Xiao Jianfa's eyes squinted, he could not get a good read of Wang Ling's character. He could feel sharpness from Wang Ling.

As if it was a blade that was sheathed, yet underneath the sheath was a sword so sharp that it could not be covered by mere craftsmanship of mortals.

The man who had once faced a dragon and butchered it with a mere knife exchanged gazes with his own grandson. He could not get his eyes away from those crimson eyes of his. The halo that overlapped his pupils was simply mystifying.

It was a face-off between two experts. Both parties did not want to take their gaze off one another.

"Father, Ling'er, what are you two doing? It had been minutes since you paused, please stop it."

Xiao Fei'er's voice was heard, Xiao Jianfa and Wang Ling was broken from their daze. Xiao Jianfa gave Xiao Fei'er a snort before scanning his grandchildren once again.

He nodded a couple of times before commenting, "Hmm, such good seeds, just what you would expect from my line. Even the little lass over here is good because of Fei'er's guidance."

"Thank you, Grandfather, Wang Ling (Wang Hong, Wang Yue) appreciate your compliments." The three youths lowered their heads and thanked Xiao Jianfa for his compliment.

Xiao Jianfa was already aware of Wang Yu's background so he chose his words very carefully. Although she was not blood-related, Wang Yue was the treasured daughter of Xiao Fei'er his daughter.

It would be on his and Xiao Fei'er's best interest to not fight.

Wang Ling was aware of his choice of words. Wang Ling was satisfied with Xiao Jianfa's consideration. He could see that although he was a show-off and was radiating with the intent to fight, he was a good person.

Also, for the head of the house to greet them himself, Xiao Jianfa knows humility and his arrogance and air of the position he possesses was not over his head.

Wang Ling was now clearly sure that although this person in front of him was rather eccentric and free-willed. He was a true master of the art he majors in.

As for the question, if he will be able to beat him or not, Wang Ling did not know.

Xiao Jianfa then turned around and beckoned Wang Ling and rest to follow him inside the pagoda. Xiao Jianfa moved like he was floating and passed Xiao Fei'er, she shook his head at the antics of her father.

Wang Ling followed suit and took a step forward and as soon as his feet landed on top of the stairs, the hair all over Wang Ling's body stood up.

He had goosebumps all over his body and as he did, his body shivered, his eyes showed an unnoticeable gleam, his heart began to beat faster and faster, memories flooded his mind as he mumbled with a smiled.

"It's here."
