"How can he still be standing?" The second elder couldn't grasp the logic behind this young man before them, he's beaten and battered, his left arm destroyed and his body had a hole in it yet he still lives.

The Golden Light he had already diminished and the power he held earlier already vanished. He should be dead, he shouldn't be intimidating, but the mere presence of a bleeding young man made it harder for them to breathe.

His smile was unnerving, his presence unbearable, and his eyes terrifying, "Ahhhhh, this hurt… it had been so long since I got injured this badly… it had been so long since I did something this reckless… it had been so long since I felt this ALIVE!"

Wang Ling planted his feet on the ground and then gathered the strength of the earth, he made a fist with his right hand holding the sword, and then, he struck the ground and lifted a massive debris and threw it on in mid-air.

Wang Ling then struck it and created a smokescreen.

'I don't have a lot of time, I've been playing for far too long. Angel, we need to kill the Elders now, the Lopus Family will be annihilated if we do not."

"I understand."

'Now, I don't know how long this Overhaul Phoenix Rebirth will stay active, but I'll use it for as long as possible.' Wang Ling's body was already in tatters, and without any qi to support him, he's now

Angel flew up and Wang Lin stayed in the room. The Elders searched for Wang Ling, they sent their spirit into the smokescreen but they picked up nothing. Wang Ling's body no longer had any qi, it had been taken by Angel, and right now only his body was moving.

He hid the Sword Intent and now he's moving within the smokescreen as stealthily as he could so that he could kill them all. The First Elder did not just wait for the Wang Ling to prey upon them and he swung his sword to dissipate the smokescreen.

The smoke was cleared but he found no one.

"Where is he!?" he felt something, he raised his head and saw Wang Ling's beastly eyes looking back at him, sword in hand.

Wang Ling swung the sword and the First Elder Dodged, Wang Ling slashed and managed to create a deep wound on his left shoulder. Wang Ling was falling and he knew he can't stop moving now else he'll die.

The First Elder has been injured and with this, an opening was created for Wang Ling to get to the others. Using the centrifugal force his sword created as he swung it, Wang Ling somersaulted.

His left leg reached the Second Elder's neck.

SLASH!

A clean chop, the Second Elder died by sacrificing a leg. Wang Ling landed on the ground, and using his right leg as the pivot he sent his sword from the deepest South to the Highest North, "Blood Seeking Sword — Culling River."

Slash!

He did not kill anyone, but he made sure to cut off the leg of the First Elder who had been the bane of his existence since he came here. Only two remained and Wang Ling did not stop himself, only two of his limbs were usable and he calculated the time remaining on the Overhaul Phoenix Rebirth to be ten seconds or even less.

The sword in his hand showed cracks on the surface, it failed to withstand the pinnacle of all Sword Intent but it didn't break just yet. It hanged on, its desire to be of use to someone like Wang Ling manifested, if it was to break then it was simply destiny, but the sword howled as its desire to be used by Wang Ling.

Swords of this caliber do not have an Ego, but they still hum in the hands of a master, and when they hum, they create a melodious symphony, "Blood Seeking Sword – Calamity Connection."

When the sword reached the peak of the north Wang Ling began his movement once more and this time it had no elegance, rather than a flowing river it transformed to a raging tsunami that enveloped everything in its wake.

One… three… six… nine… thirty! The sword was pushed to its limits much like Wang Ling's body and when the counting was over the two elders standing without a scratch on their bodies were now filled with sword wounds.

One of the elders even lost an arm, but, no one died. Wang Ling's attacks were ferocious and the combination without gaps to be exploited. However, his strength had waned since the second swing and by the twentieth, Wang Ling was already out of gas, and by then, his sword was already so heavy that he couldn't lift it.

Wang Ling dropped the sword it crumbled to nothingness. He fell to his knees, unable to withstand the weight of his own body, 'Oh yeah, this is it for me.' The only reason why he's alive was the fact that the Overhaul Phoenix Rebirth wouldn't let the flames of his life be snuffed out without a reason.

His vitality was still alive, but as the two walking elders approaching Wang Ling, that not be the case for so long.

"You… bastard… it's time for you to die."

"Fourth Elder, do not bother with him, the Sect is still under siege we need to clean it up quickly." The Fifth Elder who lost an arm and a spear said staring at Wang Ling.

"I understand, carry the First Elder, I'll end this now."

The Fourth Elder hatefully looked at Wang Ling's eyes, he held a saber and as he raised it ready to end Wang Ling's life with a single swift slash. But Wang Ling smiled at them with absolute confidence, laughing as if he was looking at fools.

"What's so funny? You already lost." Said the First Elder who lost his legs.

"Who said I lost? I merely lost gas… at this moment as you look down upon me revering in your supposed victory, for a moment, why don't you all raise your heads?"

The Elders were confused but as they followed Wang Ling's words, that's when they saw a giant ball of fire absorbing the blaze around it.

"Your noses are always pointed to the skies while looking down upon your enemies, your arrogances know no bounds… now, burn you, third-rate imbeciles."

Angel's invisible figure waved her hand down and sent the giant ball of flame down to devour the Elder's Hall and everyone in it, including Wang Ling.

And so, as the Elders burned in the innermost area of the Sect, the flames they suffered from spread outwards.

The flames near the entrance of the Sect already surrounded the area, and as the flames from the middle Mountain that was the Elder Hall reached the outer areas, the Sect Members began to suffocate from the flame.

And so, a deathtrap was created.

To the Three Elders, it was Hell, but to Wang Ling, it was a nice downpour... and a place suitable for cultivation.
