At around midnight, the young man in white robes quietly retreated to his room cultivating his qi, a knock then reached his ears.

"Enter, it is open." The young man in white answered.

Alidia entered the room, she was dressed the same as before but cleaner this time around. She carried with her a tray of the tea the young man in white asked her to bring, her heart was thumping as she entered.

"Is something the matter, miss?" the young man in white asked as he looked at Alidia's flushed expression bringing the tea in the room.

"No… I just began thinking about the implications of my presence here… I do not know how to react to all of this." She said as she placed the tea down next to the young man in white.

She smiled at him coquettishly, her eyes fluttered with emotions that could not be contained within. The young man in white saw this and simply shook his head, "It might be presumptuous of me to say this, but I think you have the wrong idea, miss. I simply asked of you to bring me tea, and I implied nothing to you."

The young man's words were sharp, as though it had been sharpened for so long. Alidia's face became red from embarrassment, quickly bowing her head to apologize to the noble before her, "I apologize, it is simply… many had implied such a thing to me. I rejected them all… and the time that I seemingly took note of one's advancement, it ended with embarrassment."

Alidia started as she realized her mistake. The young man poured himself and Alidia tea, he smiled at her, saying, "It is fine, in your line of work you must have always been troubled by such advances."

Alidia nodded as she accepted the cup of tea. Smiling she raised the cup, "Thank you for the tea."

Silence soon prevailed, the young man drank the tea and then refilled it himself and drank it again. The young man looked at Alidia and asked her, "Is there something on my face, miss?"

"Ah — no, I just wanted to ask you something." Alidia lowered her head. Her face blushing still, she then asked the young man, "My name is Alidia, may I know of this noble's name?"

"It is, Wang Ling… is that all the confirmation you people need?" Wang Ling smiled as he dashed forth and had the Alidia lower her head.

Two swords cut the room, from the outside. The first one had already passed, but the other was coming for Wang Ling's head. In retaliation, Wang Ling raised the blade on his waist and blocked one of the oncoming sword slashes.

From the outside, Yun the blue mask swordsman could feel ignited his passion, his aura changed and the world around him warped, "Lightning Judgement." Lightning lacerated the ground and reached was just about to reach the other side of the sword when Wang Ling smiled in satisfaction, who, quickly stabbed his sword on the wooden flooring and raised the ground to divert the lightning sword's trajectory.

Wang Ling dodged to the side, Alidia was screaming still, her shouts reverberating in the ears. She was tossed to the adjacent bed. With Alidia behind him, Wang Ling drew out his sword, a white glint exploded, and then his qi appeared.

"Impressive, for you people to be prepared to sacrifice the life of an innocent civilian, you have my respect. Now, why don't the two of you swords show yourselves so we can begin?" Wang Ling's words echoed, but no one answered.

The silence prevailed only the clacking of Alidia's teeth could be heard, she held down her head in fear of her life. Wang Ling looked around, he was still calm, "Over there!" he swung his sword filled with the aura of slaughter.

Wang Ling's blade traveled from west to east, and then, he whispered, "Blood Seeking Sword: Sunrise Blood."

Slash!

The echoing hum of the blade continued. The seventh of the eight forms of the Blood Seeking Sword has shown itself and accompanying its entrance was the grand hum of the sword and with it came the upper half of the building separating each other.

Wang Ling's smile widened, for he now caught sight of the people going after him. Yun the blue mask blocked the sword, but the yellow mask could be seen crossing the path Wang Ling opened for him to take. None could see his smile underneath that yellow mask, but his tone was that of a jeer, "How grand of a technique, for a fake, you can imitate his techniques quite well…"

The yellow mask Agar held two short swords his movement hastened and then, his might increased instantaneously and his body turned to a blur of yellow light, "Yellow Star Technique: World Flashing Swords!"

The yellow light of the blade continued to flash brightly blinding those who saw it other than Wang Ling.

Agar's short swords moved, and Wang Ling swung his blade from the north down south, "What are you talking about imitations? This sword is the genuine method of the Blood Seeking Sword… after all, I've never used these before all those millennia ago. Blood Seeking Sword: Blood Falls! You can now die knowing you died from Wang Ling's sword."

The first movement of the Blood Seeking Sword appeared like a thunderous announcement of the waterfall's crashing waves. Agar saw this and his pupils dilated… Wang Ling smiled in contempt, but then, something happened he did not take account for.

A sword pierced his nape and slashed his neck. Blood spurted out of this wound, but what's worst was that this sword did not come from the blue mask Yun nor did Agar used any special technique.

Wang Ling missed one person waiting for the opportune time to ambush him — Alidia.

"How… nearsighted… of me."

Slash!

Alidia's tear-filled face had been wiped clean her trembling body stopped and as she looked at Wang Ling with cold eyes, she asked him, "If you are the true Wang Ling, then you should know what comes next."

Slash— a net of sword slashes appeared and turned Wang Ling's body to mince. A fountain of blood appeared blood and guts littered the place and as Alidia looked around, she turned to Yun and Agar who now bow their heads to her.

"Thank you for assisting the Heaven Hell Sword Tower despite your retirement, Master Alidia." Agar said with respect, "We will take care of the repairs."

Alidia looked at them with cold eyes, "No, just leave tonight after cleaning up the blood and guts of this man called Wang Ling. With this, I no longer owe the Tower anything. Let me just live my life in peace. Oh yeah, did you ensure the Tavern was emptied before attacking?"

"Yes, everyone already left, no one got hurt."

"Good, then Yun boy escort me out and tell them that I got caught up in the crossfire. I'm not going to leave this Town because of the Tower." Alidia said as she covered herself with blood-stained sheets.

Alidia was known in the Town as an employee of the tavern that had just been destroyed. She lives as an ordinary waitress, but truthfully she was once a member of the Heaven Hell Sword Tower with much prestige under her belt.

But after hundreds of years, she resigned and chose to live in the boonies. But two weeks ago she was contacted by the Heaven Hell Sword Tower for a favor.

The favor contained the killing of a person known as Wang Ling who challenged a branch of the tower and then killed everyone. She just helped them kill that person.

Yun and Agar accepted her terms, and the two men went to talk with the Tavern Master to talk about the compensation. They paid the right price and then left saying they had things to do.

The two left after publicly apologizing to Alidia who got "caught up" in the fight. With this, none would doubt her participation.

Alidia was given a month of rest so that she'd be able to recover. Her colleagues would often come to visit and check up on her.

And then, a month passed and Alidia still acted a bit affected by the bloody sight but she at least began showing her bright side to everyone.

"Welcome!" she said with a cheery voice hearing the chimes on the door echo.

"Can I ask for a plate of your staple meat and vegetable dish?" a fairly young man wearing a white robe entered the Tavern.

Alidia turned around, and quickly; her pupils dilated for the one who just entered the Tavern was a man resembling the man she killed a month ago — it was Wang Ling.
