STAB! Chang Ping stabbed Wang Ling's right arm, broke both his legs to ensure he wouldn't be having any funny ideas. Her eyes held a sharp glint but behind all that was a chaotic mess of emotions. She drew close on Wang Ling's face, her beauty that intoxicated even the most righteous of Sages could not initiate a single reaction to the man before her.

Her cold tone of voice then echoed, "Who did you hear me from? My parents, my siblings, my friends, everyone who could know my identity are all dead. Those who should remember have forgotten me, now, tell me, who did you learn it from!?"

Chang Ping, a name that had long been forgotten. No one remembers her for she was nothing but a small character back in the Celestial Spirit Realm. When everyone she cared for died, she was forgotten. Even the people of the Heaven Hell Sword Toward do not know of her true name for she did not want to be remembered of her past.

However, this impostor before her just called out her name. He smiled at her and laughed saying it had been a long time since they had met… the implications of her words meant only one thing… she didn't want to hold hope, but here she was, wishing that his words would be what she wanted him to utter.

Wang Ling saw the hesitance in her eyes, and with a pained smile, he answered her, "I didn't think you would actually complete the task I gave you. Seeing you here now can only mean that you managed to comprehend the Sword Intent I handed over to you back then, correct?"

"Thi…this is impossible… Master? Oh no… what have I done? I almost killed you, no, no, no, master, please, don't die." She began to panic.

"Don't worry… I won't die from this… I know my limits, I already died once, after all."

Drenched in blood and with a whisper-like voice, Wang Ling's words still pierced Chang Ping's ears. Quickly, she retrieved her sword and then brought out a golden pill and was about to give it to Wang Ling when she realized its potency was too much.

Even for Wang Ling, that kind of pill would be fatal, the ever so calm Sword God, someone who fought against the strongest Abyssal Demons began to panic. She did not know what to do, all of her methods were meant for those with higher cultivation.

"Calm down… child. Do not panic, and just heed my instructions."

Chang Ping who just learned of Wang Ling's identity inexplicable gave up her identity as a Sword God. All of a sudden, she returned to being a youth, someone who d.e.s.i.r.ed nothing more than to please the man who gave her the chance to climb higher.

She followed Wang Ling's instructions and without any hesitation, she transferred some Qi on Wang Ling's body which then got converted to Holy Qi the next moment.

Wang Ling asked Angel to create a tiny spark and have the entire Forest be engulfed in flames. From a tree to another, then the entire clearing then as Chang Ping did her best to spread the fire the faster the flames began spreading.

Chang Ping was made to control the fire after popping in a pill in her mouth.

Before long, the fire began spreading, and the stronger the flames became the more Wang Ling managed to contact the Overhaul Phoenix Rebirth Constitution, and as time went by Wang Ling's strength returned.

The fire slowly energized him and if his estimations were correct, by the time the fire engulfed the Forest, he'd be able to snap his bones back together and regain his ability to walk again.

It would take some time but Wang Ling would at least want to walk and go back to the Sect on his own. If he showed signs of weakness then the chances of his Sect being looked down upon would increase.

Wang Ling would first need to establish himself and losing like this would be more than troublesome. He closed his eyes, quietly letting the hidden qi flow in his body surge and have his body undergo a rebirth.

For the first few minutes, it closed off his wounds, and just as he was waiting, Chang Ping came back from controlling the flames. She showed him a wry expression, an awkward smile, and then fell silent as she looked at his sorry state.

On Chang Ping's right hand was her sword on her left was Wang Ling's severed arm. Chang Ping had already reattached her fingers after using the pill, and after retrieving her fingers she ensured to bring with her Wang Ling's arm, she herself severed.

Placing it next to Wang Ling, Chang Ping bowed before Wang Ling and asked him, "…How are you still alive, Master? I thought the Emperor of Death killed you? Your family saw you get eviscerated and then blown up by the Emperor of Death. Your soul had already dissipated., you were erased from the world… so how?"

\Without anything to do, Wang Ling could only sigh and speak of the truth to Chang Ping. She was already at the peak of existence, and considering how the Sword God had been fighting against the Abyssal Demons for millennia, he doubted she'd sell him to them.

Chang Ping, of course, believed Wang Ling's claims. The Void, or otherwise known as the Birthplace of the Creator, Wang Ling was pulled in the Sacred Grounds where no life could exist, that's where he went for all these years, recuperating so he could return and then slay the evil that's been unleashed in the Universe.

"Does that mean Master reincarnated? Master?"

"No, I took over this body in return for destroying a Sect and protecting his brother… which you stabbed mind you."

"Wait, does that kid know of your situation, Master? He didn't act like you were brothers, and he also called you his Master… you also said something about a Sect earlier are you a part of a Sect as an Elder?" Chang Ping had a lot of questions.

"The kid knows of my situation. I already told him about who I am too, my other disciples, however, do not know. As for the Sect… I already built my own in preparations to Unifying what's left of this Universe and fighting back against the bastard." Wang Ling sighed as he spoke.

Saying all of these made him tired, and as he kept silent, so did Chang Ping who just realized she stabbed quite possibly her junior.

However, as she sat there, she fiddled with her thumb as though she was a child.

"Master, what do you think of the Celestial Crimson Blade I created? I fashioned it to the intent you left me all those years ago—"

She constantly looked at Wang Ling from time to time as if she was waiting for something… and then, Wang Ling noticed her.

He then asked, "Your sword was sharp and your techniques were pure. From some Princess to the Sword God… you even beat me in a duel, you must have suffered to get to where you are now… you have improved a lot, Chang Ping, good job."

Chang Ping lowered her head.

Chang Ping was just some normal person. Other than her title of nobility nothing more was worth noting about her existence. She was not talented and neither was she blessed with luck, but, then, she managed to meet someone who stands at the peak.

He was but a young man, just a little bit older than hers, but his skills were unmatched. He was not strong but his movements and his aura drowned her world.

Chang Ping felt something within her, that feeling screamed telling her that she should call out to him and learn from him. Her instincts told her that learning from him would be able to change her stagnant destiny.

She begged him for days and got accepted to do only one thing, to comprehend a single stone that had his sword intent etched on its surface. She tried what Wang Ling told her, comprehend his intent, and failed.

However, she did not stop. She continued her pursuit of his recognition and journeyed around the world challenging the geniuses of the sword so she could prove herself. She failed Wang Ling's challenge, thus she at least wanted to make him proud of her.

As time passed, Chang Ping grew stronger and by the time she neared the complete comprehension of the stone, Wang Ling died and the Universe was destroyed.

She was brought to the world beyond Celestial Spirit World and was spared from death, and in a place where she knew nobody.

Her parents died, her friends, her heritage, her legacy, everything that was meant for her disappeared, her family left the world and she couldn't retrieve anything from the world other than her sword and the stone.

she held the stone with all that she had and resumed her training.

She swung her blade and drowned the sorrows filling her heart.

She trained, and trained, and trained and after years of her pursued the pinnacle and when she got there she was left there, alone, without anyone to present it to… she close isolation and just fought to mute the sorrow in her heart.

She thought she had lost every sense of sadness yet as she heard Wang Ling's words of acknowledgment, it felt as though someone from the past was telling her that they were proud of what she had accomplished.

For a moment, she saw herself in a time where she was gleefully going on a journey proving her worth… a time where her innocence still existed.

As she wiped her tears away and looked at Wang Ling with a smile, "Thank you, Master… I tried my best."
