Wang Ling's mind was in a state of intense pressure. The Bell of Heaven resonated with him, and for the same reason he had refrained from calling upon the rest of his bloodlines, the echoing bell was trying to rip his soul apart.

[It is rejecting me harder than it used to.] the force of the Bell had already been established to Wang Ling because his soul already resisted more than the 7 Rings. This soul of his may be a patchwork of the past, but it should have been able to hold at least 45 bells and create five rings. The fact, however, currently lies at the present where he was left with only three Rings.

Wang Ling knew that something was wrong, he couldn't ask anyone so he made his own theory, and the thing he considered to be an acceptable conclusion to his predicament, was that his soul carry fragments of the past.

This was the most logical reasoning. But this theory does not simply consist of the idea that he carries his past experiences with him, no, it was more or less similar to how he retained his killing intent and sword intent, unlike his bloodlines.

The bloodlines, just like its name implies, bloodline was one's lifeblood. Wang Ling's Holy and Hellish Bloodlines though thick and powerful could not be taken in this life for it remained in his deceased body.

The power of the Holy Bloodline however somewhat retained a majority of its power. It was the only bloodline that managed to break the mold, upon its activation three rings quickly sprouted in succession, and its intensity was no less than the past.

[My Holy Qi was strong, but I noticed that in this life it is even stronger. A cut arm can easily be reattached, and I can even control the elements more easily than before. Though it may something to do with Angel, the fact of the matter remained that this bloodline had gone to absurd degrees of strength.] such was the root of his theory.

Wang Ling believed that his soul managed to retain the strength of his Holy Qi bloodline, making it more potent and reliable than before. The Hellish Bloodline that still lie dormant within him may also have the same logic as, just like how the Holy Bloodline brought the Overlord Lines to this era, the Hellish Qi retained the God's Mark.

He actually planned on first gathering resources to make his soul stable to ensure no cracks formed, but because of Yuan Qing and Yuan Ming's presence, that planned was turned to mush, [They are too unpredictable to consider a friend.] he thought to himself and endured the 30th ring of the Heaven's Bell.

Wang Ling's theory had always been and would always be nothing but a theory if he does not live through this life. If it meant risking his soul to achieve more strength, then Wang Ling did not care. His soul screamed yet he remained silent, he was smiling throughout the agonizing pain as he just endured through the suffering.

Dong! Dong! Dong! It echoed with every bell. When it passed the 31st, it already showed sign of its strength. When it passed the 32nd, it caused him to grimace. The 33rd, for him to lean forward. The 34th for Wang Ling to cough up litters of blood, and the 35th was for him to be distracted by something shining.

[Interesting.] the Holy Qi had always been two things, White and Gold, White was that of lesser purity and Gold was the purest form, and thought Wang Ling already got the Golden Holy Qi, he found another form of Holy Qi.

He smiled as he grabbed hold of something within himself. Wang Ling who had seen almost everything in life was amazed by a gray patch within his Mindscape where the world was mostly white.

Wang Ling peered into the patch of gray, he stuck his head in and from the other side, he spoke, "So that's where you have been…" his words echoed aloud as his body began to burn and his qi raced to reach the barrier of the next cultivation realm — the realm of Worldly Manifestation Realm draws closer with each passing minute,

Wang Ling was smiling, and as his minutes turned to hours, and those hours to days the Bell gathered its strength for the final gong and as Wang Ling sat at the bottom of the Magma, his body started to show changes.

===

Tomb Raids happens all the time, and for years it would attract youths seeking hidden treasures so even though three days had already passed since the Tomb's opening, the sight of youths coming in droves was nothing but a normal sight.

Chang Ping was observing everything from above a tree, she was bored and for the past few days she had to stifle the urge to kill molesters seven times already. Though she cut their hands, and castrated several of them provided her with little satisfaction.

Chang Ping sighed, laid her hands on her knuckles and just waited, and waited for her Master to return.

In her mind she was just replaying the movement of the Blood Seeking Sword and just as she was about to gain enlightenment about the origins of the Sword Movement, she felt something that made her run three hundred meters away from where she sat.

"They are coming in droves." She said after seeing more than fifteen Impostors had actually arrived and entered the tomb, "And the majority of them are just below the line of the required cultivation level of Rank 5. The Master is going to have a problem."

But from here on forwards, Chang Ping's face only grew paler by the second as the number continued to rise more and more, "How the hell are there so many of them here?"

"Obviously for the resources and to Collect Primordial Essence?" a voice suddenly sounded out next to Chang Ping.

"HAH!" Chang Ping was startled, she swung her sword against that person, but, was only able to draw a drop of blood before stopping her blade as she recognized the owner of the voice, "The Captain of the Cosmic Sailer!?"

Roan had actually arrived next to Chang Ping and looked at his finger and watched it heal in a heartbeat, "Not bad, kid. For you to injure a Devil, you are not bad."

Chang Ping raised her brows, confused by what Roan just said.

Roan realized something, "Oh, so Wudi did not tell you about me? Hmm, he's pretty good at keeping secrets. I thought he'd have told you about me by now. Huh, so he actually kept his word."

Roan had Wang Ling keep the matter about him being a Devil to the others in the Cosmic Sailer thus the confusion.

Chang Ping could only sigh at this revelation as she could not do anything about the matter either way. She sat on the tree branch and asked, "Captain Roan, what were talking about Primordial Essence?" this question was more her concern.

Roan also sat next to her and answered, "You are feisty for someone who just met a Devil. Well, your companion is a member of the Holy Race, so I can understand it at the very least. Can't tell you, the Primordial Essence is a secret."

Chang Ping was rather irritated, "Then why tell me its name?"

"To give you a clue, that's all. And I actually just remembered that it is forbidden. I don't really interact much with your kind other than for making sailing contracts, so I don't really bother remembering these lines." Roan embarrassingly laughed.

"Then, why are you here? Can you at least answer that?"

"Because I'm waiting."

"For what?"

"To see a Massacre. Everyone inside that Tomb would die by the hands of these frauds."
