"Well, that is everything." Wang Ling kept the bag inside the ring. With this, he had every missing fragment and the remaining was with his original sword, "If I can recover Blood Seeker then I will finally be able to release what I left within the sword."

Blood Seeker was the name of the Natal Weapon he had with him when he was going around rampaging the Celestial Spirit Realm for more than 70,000 years. That sword absorbed Wang Ling's qi, and more importantly, his killing intent and unfiltered hatred.

[If I can recover that and add it to my current cultivated intent…] Wang Ling grew exuberant at the thought, "Hmmm?"

Wang Ling noticed something near the place where Bai Xue buried the bag. He examined the claw marks she left, "She even left a marking, how thoughtful."

Wang Ling jumped back up to the base of the tree. He looked at it one last time and decided to leave. When Wang Ling descended from the peak, it was Chang Ping who was waiting for her.

"It seems like you did some soul-searching Master." Chang Ping said noticing Wang Ling's still reddened eyes.

"Seems like I didn't hide it quite well." He said with a laugh, "This just to goes to show I have a long way to go."

"Indeed, but considering, the great Wang Wudi, it seems like even after tens of thousands of years, it is not easy to change."

"Hmm, indeed, no matter how long one lives it really is indeed not enough."

Chang Ping laughed, "So, you do agree that you are the great Wang Wudi from two Eras back!"

Wang Ling stopped in front of Chang Ping, he looked at her with creased brows, and a weird expression, "Yes that's me, why, is something the matter? Though I am not really that proud of my past because of what I had done before. You know, killing Sect after Sect, and then destroying the flow of the Realm, possibly the Universe."

"Didn't expect the Master to be so open about this." Chang Ping was taken aback by Wang Ling's nonchalant attitude.

"I can't do anything about that, now, can I? Just make sure not to spread it around so that it doesn't cause any irritating problem for us." Wang Ling resumed his steps.

"In that case, I have some question I want to know that I had been curious about. Master can avoid—"

"Just ask."

"Who else knows?"

"Xue, otherwise known as the Mother of Beasts, and the Gray Figure… or the Emperor of Death as you call him."

"The Blood Seeking Sword technique, was that—"

"Self-taught, and so is everything else. Other than the beginning of the cultivation stages and the foundation of the sword, my Master taught me nothing. Just throwing it here, yes, you did technically reached Quintessence faster than me, so, when talking about talent, you're above me in all front." Wang Ling knew he was not some genius, thus he didn't really care.

Chang Ping asked a lot of things to Wang Ling and without anything to hide, all were answered. She did not expect him to be so open about the matter, and when asked, Wang Ling answered it without much thought behind it.

"What is the Era of the past like? Was it—"

"Didn't peg you for a History Enthusiasts, but, leave it for later. We're leaving."

Wang Ling returned to their group.

"Wang Ling, did you find the core of the barrier?" the twins asked, curious as the barrier had disappeared already.

"I don't know what you two are talking about." Wang Ling was left confused.

"The thing buried underneath the roots of the tree, that's what they are talking about! So, what was it? Did she left something to tell you about important matters?" Qinyang cleared out the misunderstanding.

"So, it was a barrier that I felt, also, it was a letter from Xue… the Mother of Beast. She left me a few letters about the situation of the Universe when I died, and something she and I were searching for back in the previous era." Wang Ling showed them a flowing sword fragment.

"Oh… it's nothing that grand then. I thought it would be a World Treasure, that is slightly disappointing with all the attention we placed on it." The twins were downcast as they picked up Chang Ping and asked for the direction of the Origin Lands.

Roan also helped Wang Ling up from the ground, "Is something the matter kid?" he noticed Qinyang stalling but she only shook her head.

She smirked as Qinyang saw Wang Ling, "It appears Sir Wang Ling still cries at the letter of his beloved."

"Is it really that noticeable?" Wang Ling laughed as all of them disappeared into the distance.

===

The Giant Walls of the Red Lands, or the Origin Lands as they now call it were damaged. Its previous impregnable status was clearly no more. The gates, as always were open for everyone to enter, its symbol had yet to disappear even after the changes.

Its road was also still wide, its inhabitants a mishmash of different races. Elves, Beastmen, Demons, all of it were there, and Wang Ling and his group were but a small addition to its growing number.

Inside the Origin Lands, there was an Inn called the Dark Sword Inn, one of the three famous Inns in the entirety of the Inner Ring.

Currently, Wang Ling and the rest were talking with the front desk to settle into a room.

"So, we're going to stay in an Inn for two days, why?"

"Waiting for someone, I sent a letter to a Sword yesterday. They should be arriving here a week before the start of the Congregation."

"When is the Congregation happening again?"

"We traveled for two months, so one more month. The Cosmic Eye Tower should still be seeking out information about the situation."

"Cosmic Eye Tower?"

"Yeah, they monitor the information of the Universe with the Dang and Fu Family, who, will both be a part of this congregation, ah, wait for a while, Master, I'll finish off handling the room."

"Okay."

Wang Ling nodded his head, and turned around, only to see a bubbling rich young lady passing him by.

Tap.

"Watch it!" She shouted after hitting Wang Ling's shoulders.

When Wang Ling saw this person, he sighed, because he saw him approaching the front desk.

[Her clothes seem like it is made of gold, her smile is contemptuous, and her haughty attitude does not allow anyone to cross her… those types, huh. Hmmm, I wonder if that would work to ward off any further annoyance.].

"What are you doing, Sir Ling Wadi?" Qinyang asked seeing Wang Ling already brought out a sword fragment.

"Hmm? Insurance."

Leaving Qinyang guessing and

"I would like to rent a room here." The young lady asks

"I apologize but we no longer have room to give. We just gave the last one to someone else."

"Huh? Who the hell do you think you are to refuse me, and who was the one who dare—"

"That would be me."

Wang Ling spoke to keep the outburst short.

Furrowing her brows, the young lady looked at Wang Ling with a sneer, "So, are you going to give it up? Make sure to think twice before answering, ahem."

The young lady cleared her throat and the people around her stepped forward emanating with obviously hostile intent. When Wang Ling noticed this fact, he stepped up with a sword fragment in-between his fingers.

He gripped tightly and without a moment's notice, the entire front hall of the Inn was dyed in red. Wang Ling's killing intent wailed, his bloodl.u.s.t soar and directly gnawed at the sanity of the two goons.

The goons backed away for they could see it, an image, no, a premonition of their heads rolling down on the floor.

"Step back!"

"NO!"

"Annnnnnd, that's enough of that." Wang Ling reeled the intent back into himself, and the two goons fell on the floor. He looked straight in the eyes of the trembling young lady, "As you can see, this will happen to you if you are too loud and does not respect others."

Wang Ling stepped forward and grabbed the two goons by the head, the young lady stepped back, "What do you want?" she asked.

Wang Ling's hands shortly parted from the goons' head, "Don't be too self-centered, I'm not going to kill you or anything, at least not unless you try to take revenge for your own fault. And I helped them ease the nightmares, it happens."

"Master, what are you doing? I already finished checking in."

"Nothing, just settling some dispute." Wang Ling answered Chang Ping and began walking away, until he stopped and turned back the young lady again, "Seriously if you have half the brain, try not to start anything, I was going as soft as possible today."

Then, Wang Ling walked away, Qinyang looked at him, asking, "Will that really stop her?"

"Huh? Most likely… I hope so, I don't want to resort to destroying Clans and Sect the moment I recovered these sword fragments. Such bad omen would be undesirable." Wang Ling said as he and the rest ascended to their rooms.

Outside the Inn, an old man who was just passing by had felt the immense aura Wang Ling just let loose. He stopped and raised his head, "How amusing... that intent is similar to his... haha, it couldn't be." He laughed shaking his head before walking away.
