"Your firstborn?" Bai Xue failed to grasp his words, "What do you mean your firstborn? That he was born from you two? Was he conceived by Chun?"

Ling-Cho, shook his head, "No, he's not. The Origin General was born from my untouched other side of the essence of life, which is Death and Chun's source of life who saved me from when we first met. You see… how do I tell you this without being long winded, or wasting my time—he's the reason why the Origin Race and the Third Generations of the Primordial Races, as well as the Immortal Cultivators are immune to the natural touch of death—ack~"

Ling-Cho's words halted with his existence being pulled out of the Mortal Worlds. He was being recalled to the Void, "Tsk, Wang Ling's mind… is pushing me out of his body. His defenses against hostile creatures that takes hold of his mind is ever stronger… tsk—I don't have much time, and neither does Chun, so I will not be able to go into the intimate details, listen well, this is the Truth of this Univers. Everything began when we created the perfect creatures that were the Origin and Primordial Races…"

Bai Xue extended her neck forward to listen to Ling-Cho's words. Ling-Cho's words were made to be concise; he did not bother with the meager details of the past and just focused on the main figures of what truly mattered.

"The First Creations were made to be match our image and visions, we made them invulnerable to the idea of dying through time. We filled them with too much life, and what appeared was in the form of me shouldering the blunders of fate. Everything has to die, but, due to my decision to keep them alive, the other side of Life rebelled.

"Death overrun me, and just as I was about to end life itself, that was when I met Chun, who helped me open a different Dimension where I released half of my being. I thought I would die due to the corruption, but, thanks to Chun's blood, I lived.

"My brush with death and Chun's assistance paves the way to our disappearance for a thousand years. In this time, while we left them uncheck, our children waged war with one another, blood was finally drawn and life was reaped. That was when I noticed, that the more they fought the stronger Chaos inside grew. The turmoil caused my own existence, I—…I feared this mysterious force would go berserk as it had with my tussle with Death and risk me of everyone before I can take control.

"So, I casted it away to a place where no one can be harmed, to the land where Chun brought me to heal. As time passed, I established the Cycle of Life and Death, the Wheel of Reincarnation formed, and with Chun, the concept of Mortality, Lineage, Reincarnation, were established. Little to our knowledge… something had already been born from her droplets of Blood Essence and my berserker Chaos and Death Q—aaah!

"Dear!" Chun was quick to react and support Ling-Cho's crumbling body.

"I'm okay, Chun, thank you… but, you don't need to worry, I am already dead… this pain is merely a reminder of a timer. What is more important is not my wellbeing—New Bearer of the Source of Life, I know it is a lot to take in, but what he is or where he came from is not important. The thing is that, the Origin General wants to do is something bigger.

"Before, when he appeared before his siblings, he was welcomed as a beloved leader, as the bridge of the Origin Races. He orchestrated a war, and I watched what he accomplished, WE, watched what he accomplished. Now, that he has returned, he is bent on finishing what he started…"

Bai Xue leaned ever closer, "Do what? What does he want to do? Don't leave before you finish what you want to tell me, goddammit!"

"The Origin General, he wants to finish—curating true and everlasting Peace." With those words, Ling-Cho finally reached the end of his time and so has Chun. Immediately, a bright light came down upon the mountain where they were at. Bathing in a silver light, Ling-Cho forced Wang Ling's body to move.

The pain was felt not in the physical form but in the ethereal. His already weak soul began to crack from within as he had to fight back Wang Ling's right to dominate what is rightfully his. However, he did his best and with his finger he swung with full strength.

A tear formed across the sky and from the other side of the tear was the overwhelming suction force of the Void. Their ethereal forms were soon lifted from the ground.

Chun's decomposing body reverted slowly and then to its perfect form. On the bleeding skies was an invisible darkness only Bai Xue could see.

"Bai Xue, I apologize for setting you to suffer because of my obsession. I controlled the Ancestors, my first children to feel my void, but now that I am leaving, they will know… what is the right thing to do. Please, find it in your hearts to forgive them."

The now purified light of Chun provided Bai Xue to accept her words. She did not doubt her Predecessor or at least not anymore, she just smiled, "I will. I may not received your memories, but that sensation of a protector is always ever present in me all the same. Though I can't say the same I am as soft as you, I can at least forgive those who did nothing wrong."

"…Thank you, I couldn't have hoped for a better Successor." Chun said these words without a shadow of a doubt. She received Bai Xue's memories and emotions, or rather, she stole them from her when she took over her body.

Chun was sure Bai Xue would take good care of her children.

The light, however, was seen by every single Deity and those tens of thousands of kilometers away.

The Deities and the Origin Races, or at least those strong enough could feel it in their very bones and even souls. They were tempted to move, but, instead of doing such a thing, they all lowered their heads in response and all whispered at the same time, "Thank you."

The invisible tear disappeared with Chun and a blue ethereal light.

They did not leave with rumblings thunders or the horns of the Gods, but rather, a collective instinctual whisper of gratitude and soft tears from the strongest and hardened creatures of the Universe.
