Wang Ling was blown away twenty steps backward as the Black Tiger stood there like a stable mountain. The Black Tiger quickly moved and pounced at him and aimed for his neck. Wang Ling stabilized himself and took out a pill from his storage ring and tossed it in his mouth. Wang Ling then circulated his hellish qi, supreme spirit qi, and his sword mastery to its fullest. He met the sharp tiger claws with his deadly sword. The two of them once again clashed, but this time, Wang Ling was only blown away ten steps. However, he was blown away nonetheless. "You insolent human, do you even know who I am!? For you to even think of using me as your mount, you sure have the guts of a billion men!! I am the being that will stand above all beast, don't you dare look down upon me!!" The Black Tiger was angered and it seemed like it was ready to take Wang Ling apart. Wang Ling on the other hand had a smile on his face as he said to the Fang Guan and the rest who was watching by the side. "Leave this place, with you here, I can't go all out!" said Wang Ling. "B-but" "Just Go, I can't keep you alive if you stay here!" Wang Ling angrily said. The other three were hesitant, but in the end, they still left. The Black Tiger cared not about them leaving, as it solely focused its attention on killing Wang Ling. "Where do you think, you're looking!?" The Black Tiger bellowed as it used front paws to send Wang Ling flying into the air while he was distracted. Wang Ling then crashed into a nearby tree. "For your words, I will make your death as miserable as possible." Wang Ling smiled, he confirmed that the others were nowhere to be found. Wang Ling started becoming serious. The constrained he had put on himself was destroyed and he let out everything. His aura of slaughter and destruction was unleashed to its full glory as Wang Ling unfurled his wings and started eating pills that was abundant with spirit qi. Raising his sword, he pointed at the Black Tiger with the tip of his sword as he said with confidence. "I'll pour everything on this fight. Also, if you're going to become the one that will stand above all beasts, then let me tell you something I will be the one to Overturn the heavens and become the God of Hell. Now, let us start, my dear future mount!" Boom!! Wang Ling dashed forth and destroyed the ground he was standing on. ==== Footnotes for Current Cultivation Phases: Qi Pillars: the 'storage' of all kind of qi that the cultivator cultivates. Example is the MC's hellish qi and his supreme spirit qi. Spirit Ocean: the gathering of spirit qi that enriches ones cultivation. The uses of the Spirit Ocean is going to be mentioned in later chapters. Lighting of the nine qi pillars: qi pillars in this novel is the very start of cultivation. One has to light up or activate their nine qi pillars before they can cultivate spirit qi. However, one has to take note that lighting up all nine qi pillars does not equate to having the ability to use spirit qi in battle, because the main goal of lighting up the qi pillars is to have a 'storage' for spirit qi in the future. Foundation Phase: it consists of three stages and these stages are: Earth Root Stage, Sky Root Stage, and Energy Palace Stage. Earth Root Stage: the cultivator will have the ability to properly utilize spirit qi or any form of qi they cultivate in a fight or in something else. Sky Root Stage: It is basically the enhance version of Earth Root Stage. Energy Palace Stage: energy palace is another storage of spirit qi and all of his qi but it also houses everything that he will be cultivating in the future. For example is the Hell Spark.
