As Caesar was rendered unconscious, he could feel his soul escape from his body and enter into some unknown location. It felt surreal and he could only open his eyes and bear witness to his new residence.

With this in mind, his eyes snapped open and a bright light immediately assaulted him. He was forced to shade his eyes for a few moments before finally being able to see where he currently resided. A long and grand wooden table made of the finest materials was laid out in front of him.

Etches of grand battles were engraved onto it and cracks spilling out light, as if it were liquid, were present. Sitting around the table were twelve grand figures, wings made out of white features shot out from their back and their aura was extremely imposing.

However, similar to some kind of spectator, none of the grand figures paid Caesar any mind as if they were not aware of his presence. Instead, they glared at the end of the table, where a man with long, flowing black hair and a large scythe sat.

His appearance was quite similar to Caesar. He was extremely handsome and possessed a European feel to him. The only significant differences were hair color and facial expression. His hair was black, and he carried an expression of mockery, vastly different to how Caesar would've acted, probably.

What mostly acquired Caesar's attention, however, was the large scythe that the man carried. It was identical to the one that he found in the dwarven mountain, and the same one that 'talked' to him whilst he was dying. At first, Caesar had figured he was hallucinating at that moment, but now, he thought that maybe he was in a dream. Perhaps, that scythe actually managed to save him.

As he was thinking to here, there was finally some movement at the table. The largest of the winged figures, presumably angels, stood up. He was fully garbed in golden armor with a huge silver glaive in his right hand. He possessed a much bulkier physique in comparison to the others and he seemed to be respected in the council.

"Lucifer, you are the only one amongst the holy council of twelve that refuses to let that human enter into our ranks. He has proven himself as a hero time and time again, yet you are so adamant on destroying him" The bulky angel roared whilst slamming his glaive onto the ground, creating a mini earthquake in the process.

A few of the other angels nodded solemnly at his words, especially a beautiful female angel with long, flowing red hair. She had an expression of serenity as she stood up from the table and spread her wings out wide, "that man has even saved me from the clutches of death, perhaps, you should reconsider" She said while looking toward Lucifer, the disappointment was evident in her tone.

However, contrary to their expectations, Lucifer remained placid. He scanned the room with disdain in his eyes, "that 'hero' you speak so grandly of did everything with ulterior motives, he was blessed with great strength from our pooled efforts and similar to other humans, he is utterly disgusting" Lucifer paused for a moment as an image appeared in the middle of the table.

It showed the wrath, lust, gluttony, sloth, pride, envy, and greed of the humans. It showed pictures of them constantly waging war with each other for idiotic reasons such as money or land.

It then showed the 'hero', his blond hair fluttering in the air as he was surrounded by dozens of beautiful women, the red-haired angel being one of them. This caused the woman to blush in shame and turn her head to the side.

"As the one who controls and reaps the souls of those that are evil, I am fully aware of the true root of human nature. Even if he has saved many, he is not worthy of this position, nor he is worthy of ruling the world we created. We do not need a hero with charisma, we need a king with decisiveness and ruthlessness," Lucifer retorted.

"Hmph, if you can possibly find a human with those characteristics, then you can argue against our decision, however, as it stands, majority rules," The bulky angel roared, and once again slammed his weapon against the ground.

"Why must it be human?" Lucifer whispered, inaudible enough for anyone else to hear him, besides Caesar. The three angels beside him carried ugly expression on their faces, they had sided with the strongest angel, thinking that they would be respected, but now, the entire council was against them.

As Caesar was watching this scene transpire with curiosity, he felt his soul once again moving and an entirely different scene showcased itself. This time, he was situated in a luxurious and dark room, only both Lucifer and a beautiful woman were present.

"P-please save my family, my race, I know this is cruel to ask of you, however, those humans crusade our lands whilst preaching justice, but they indiscriminately kill our innocent children" The beautiful woman pleaded with two streams of tears coursing down her face.

Lucifer gently closed his eyes as he brought the woman into his tight embrace, "the council is blind and cannot see the dark evil hidden within the humans, as such, I will personally lead the dark races to victory" he whispered softly into her ears.

While Caesar was viewing an assortment of dreams and other strange things, the fox-kin army had finally managed to push the trolls back with Ahri's lead. They forced them to retreat and Ahri decided not to chase, but instead, rushed to where Caesar's body was located.

She softly tugged his body while two silent tears streaked across her face, "we beat them… we did it!" she said with a fake smile as she looked at Caesar's pale face, the sadness in her tone easily discernible.

Suddenly, she heard a thump emanating from his chest. Startled, she put her ear closer and a wide smile soon blossomed on her face, "quickly, treat his wounds with our medical paste!" she screamed.

She didn't care if some of the trolls retreated, what mattered most, was healing Caesar. She believed that he would certainly deal with the retreated forces when he awoke, he was a very capable man, after all.
