After eating and paying for their scrumptious meal, Caesar escorted both Ahri and Elizabeth back to the exalted carriage. Their appearance at the restaurant was relatively brief. However, it was a long over-due luxury.

As they entered the carriage, an older man to the left moved a few steps forward. He possessed a group of trained guards that circled his position and looked quite imposing. A thin and long beard extended from his chin, and his grey hair was tied into a bun.

The man carried a sophisticated smile on his face as he grabbed Caesar's attention. He adorned a loose gown, similar to a Hanfu robe. "Your majesty, how serendipitous for us to meet each other here," he said with a respectful gesture.

Caesar returned his greeting with a nod of his head and scrutinized the elder. He could vaguely remember his appearance in a few of the noble meetings. However, there was no significant recollection. Although Caesar was an observant man, it was quite challenging to remember the face of every single noble.

As if knowing of Caesar's troubles, the older man merely smiled, "you may not remember me, your majesty," he said, "I go by the name Li Wei, my grandfather was an immigrant from a kingdom in the east."

As he spoke to here, Caesar took note of the man's name and once again walked up to the carriage. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Li Wei. However, I have some important business I need to attend to. Perhaps, we can meet again in the royal court?" Caesar said eloquently.

Li Wei nodded his head and backed up a few meters, allowing the carriage passage. "Your father spoke to me about a few important matters… I wish you luck in Limbo kingdom, for all of our fates rest on your shoulders." Li Wei whispered inaudibly enough so that only Caesar could hear.

A strange atmosphere sudden descended upon the carriage as Caesar squinted his eyes. If the man in front of him was someone that his father trusted, then he was probably one of the less corrupt nobles. Gaining the favor of such a figure would surely come in handy in the future.

However, Caesar currently didn't have the time to curry favor. Thus, he merely closed the carriage door and rode off. It would be impolite to start a conversation with a noble on the streets; they usually didn't want the commoners to hear about their business.

Thankfully, Li Wei was very understanding when it came to spending time with your loved ones. Thus, he didn't mind Caesar's somewhat rude behavior. He smiled warmly as he entered the restaurant and ordered an excellent breakfast. Scrolls were laid out on the desk as he indulged in a light meal.

A few different diagrams, policies, and even letters were placed in front of him. Li Wei placed most of his attention on a piece of goatskin labeled "Democracy."

On the other hand, Caesar was currently joining both Ahri and Elizabeth in a warm conversation. They talked about Elizabeth's progress with school and her friends that she had acquired as of late.

"Mmhmm, I made a few friends!" Elizabeth said cutely, "John, Clifford, and Betsy. We play together sometimes at school, but since mommy teaches me now, I don't get to play with them very much anymore."

"Be careful of who you befriend," Caesar replied, "many men will seek after your status, beauty, and connections. Not to mention the fact that you don't want any fools to hold you down in the future."

As he spoke to here, Ahri glanced at him reproachfully. Such matters were not something that a child should think about, alas, it was bound to be discussed at some point. Elizabeth wasn't like Symphony and Seraph; he took full responsibility for her and even adopted the child.

If a child dared to manipulate Elizabeth for her money and status, then it would only end in a slaughter. Caesar was calm, cold, and meticulous. However, he would still become impulsive when it came to his loved one.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth didn't quite understand the meaning of Caesar's words, so they simply went through one ear and out of the other. They then began talking about other simple matters, such as their favorite meals, maids, and clothes.

Like this, they soon returned to the palace and spent time together in the dining room, with Crowley. The atmosphere was merry, and Caesar spent his next two days catering to his family and formulating a few plans with Crowley.

When Ahri and Elizabeth were awake, he spent time with them. When they were asleep, he worked with his father and Sebastian to implement new laws and regulations. They started to slowly implement their three-way government, garnering the acceptance of a few nobles. Because of this, two factions began to become more and more prominent in Rahvin kingdom, those who sided with the king, and those who didn't.

However, rumors started inevitably spread, reaching the ears of the citizens. The promise of a civil government excited them, and the tides started to shift with Crowley on top. Naturally, it would take more time for a complete change. However, it was progressing at a steady rate.

On the other hand, it was finally time for Caesar to depart from Rahvin kingdom. He had prepared as much as he could, whether it was his company or the nation. Veronica had already shown her capabilities, so he was hardly worried about evernight.

Caesar bade farewell to his family while Elizabeth still slept and entered into a fantastic noble carriage. Six white steeds pulled his carriage, and their appearance was awe-inspiring. It looked quite contradictory to the slums he was currently heading to.

"Hmm, I wonder if those adventurers will be waiting for us…?" Caesar whispered to himself casually as a small smile formed on his lips. It was finally time to go out and see how powerful the kingdoms in the Azure continent really were.
