The Reaper attacked Michael with his knives but Michael would always evade his attacks which frustrated the Reaper.
"Y-You... you're not an ordinary demon... w-who are you?"The Reaper asked as he tried his best to compose himself. He was not an ordinary reaper that's why it surprised him when Michael's speed was on par with him.
"You will have to die if I told you who I am." Michael yawned before he looked at the Reaper before he disappeared from his sight.
This surprised the Reaper and he started look around for him. He made sure to keep his guards up in case Michael will give him a surprise attack.
"Michael Ambrose Zagan." He heard a whisper in his ear and when he turned, there was no one.
That name was so familiar... The Reaper's eyes went wide upon remembering who Michael was. "T-The Demon King? I-Impossible!"
As soon as he finished saying that, the Reaper's head went flying away from his body.

Early that morning, Yiren went to school in her usual disguise. Classes went on as usual and when lunch break came, Yiren went to have her lunch in the rooftop. That day, she met Dylan and had lunch with him. She befriended Dylan and this made Dylan recall the first time he met Violet. He started missing her as he watched Yiren's actions that were the same as Violet's
They weren't able to continue their conversation about their love for books when they heard the school bell rang. They bid good bye to each other before they went back to their classes.
While she was on her way, a thought came into her mind as she was planning on how to help Dylan break free from the MC. He needs to meet another girl, a girl that can catch Dylan's attention.
After class, Yiren ordered Michael to find some girls that will match Dylan's interests.
She returned to her place and waited for Michael. When he came back, she learned that there were two girls that Yiren can match with Dylan.
Emma Kinley and Sophi Larden. Yiren looked at the information that Michael gathered about the two. After reading through it, she decided to give Emma Kinley a try.
Yiren befriended Emma for the following days and introduced her to Dylan. Emma was a bright girl with a cheerful personality. She was in the same class as Alyn.
Yiren would usually leave the two alone and because of Emma's lively personality, it never became awkward between Dylan and her.
At first, Yiren was worried that the MC would appear out of nowhere and try to distract Dylan's attention but she was surprised to learn that the MC was absent for a few weeks now. Did she got a cold? Well it's good if that's the case! Yiren hoped that she won't appear anytime soon until Dylan and Emma would develop feelings for each other.
As she was observing the progress of Dylan and Emma, she heard a big sound coming from the neighboring room. She quickly went to check what happened but her eyes went wide upon seeing Luke with a sword on his chest.
"Y-Yiren..." He looked at her before he fell on the ground.
"LUKE!" She rushed to his side as tears came rushing down her cheeks in an instant. She held him in her arms. "N-no...No... T-This can't be happening..."
"HAHAHAHA!" A loud laugh was heard.
When Yiren raised her head, she saw Olivia laughing while she hugs a head of a white haired man, Olivia's face was wet with her own tears."Y-You've taken the only family I have, now, I will take the man you love from you!"
Yiren was filled with rage upon knowing that it was Olivia who stabbed Luke. "MICHAEL!"
A black mist appeared out of nowhere and Michael's figure came out of it, "Yes, milady?"
"Kill her! I WANT YOU TO KILL HER!"
"As you wish."
Olivia didn't looked scared, she was smiling like crazy as she stroked the Reaper's white hair. She was giggling and smiling like she wasn't in her right mind anymore.
Yiren felt a cold tug on her arm which made her turn to Luke. "Y-Yiren..."
She broke into tears, as an imaginable pain filled her upon seeing Luke's weak state. "Y-You will not die... you will not die..."
Yiren pulled out the sword and pressed her hand on his wound to stop it from bleeding. "Heal!"
A light appeared on her hand for a short while, after using the spell, Yiren noticed the wound was still there. Why?! Why won't his wound heal?!
"... I'm really sorry... I hurt you... If I was given another life to love you... I... I will make sure to make it up to you..." He started coughing out blood.
"S-Stop saying that! You're not going to die! Y-You are not allowed to leave me do you understand?!" She moved her delicate fingers across his chest as she tried healing him again and again but it was no use. The wound was too deep and the blood won't stop from oozing out.
A weak smile appeared on Luke's lips. "I... Did you... loved me, Yiren?"
Her mouth crumpled like used wrapping paper. "Of course I do... idiot... so please, please don't leave me... I love you, Luke", she whispered in a voice that trembled under the weight of her pain.
The spell that Michael casted on her couldn't hold her overwhelming feelings for Luke that it ended up breaking. Yiren's feelings for Luke cam rushing in her body in an instant that made her feel more pain than she already was feeling. She doesn't want to lose him! He was her light and pillar in this world, she still loved him even if he lied to her so many times. Luke the first man she loved!
"I'm glad... I love you too... Yiren." Luke's body became cold as his eyes became lifeless.

"He's dead." Michael said as he stood beside her. He turned and looked at the sword. "Milady, that sword is a cursed sword. Even a healer cannot heal the wounds caused by this sword." Michael said as he picked the sword after he killed Olivia.
Yiren wailed as she held Luke's body in her arms.
"Do you want to leave this world now?" Michael asked. He actually planned all this, after killing the reaper, he sent his body to Olivia's room. He even left his own sword with the body.
He wanted to bring Yiren back to her world and remove the flies that was trying to stick to her, men or women, he didn't like seeing her getting close with anyone. Whenever he sees Yiren hug Charlotte or Emma, he wanted to kill them for getting so intimate with Yiren. The more he spend time with her, the more possessive he became that he didn't care if Yiren became close with a woman or an animal, one thing was in his mind, those disgusting creatures were giving Yiren their foul smell. The biggest threat to him was Luke since he can clearly see the longings of Yiren whenever she watched Luke from a far.
Seeing that Yiren wasn't giving him an answer, seeing how she cried for Luke's death made him want to revive Luke and kill Luke himself! Even in death he was stealing Yiren from him!
