The moment Hayley left Aaron wants to go after her he didn't know why he wanted to do that but he had a strong urge to do that but he restrained himself in this while a car stopped nearby them and it was time for Keith and Ginny to leave while bidding their goodbyes Ginny hugged Aaron and then she tip-toed and said something to Aaron. When they left, Tyler left with Nora and Aaron walked towards the ballroom he needs to fetch Caleb and Hayley.
While in the ballroom, Caleb had finished his drink and he was standing up or rather trying to stand up again to fetch another bottle of drink. The moment he stood up he staggered to prevent himself from falling down he held the corner of the table when he thought he was steady again he took another step and his steps flattered again, drinks were finally kicking in now although Caleb had high tolerance but he was drinking non-stop since he saw Aaron and Hayley dancing and that too was at least three hours before. He didn't even went outside to bid farewell to Keith and Ginny who were going on their honeymoon. When his step flatters again he thought he was going to fall again but then again two fair hands steadied him. When he found his footing he looked up to see the face of the person who steadied him and then he saw two big black eyes staring at him. In those eyes he saw anger and accusations both at the same time and instantly he recognized those eyes, those eyes belongs to the woman he loves, Hayley.
When Hayley entered the ballroom she saw Caleb sitting in one corner holding a glass of wine, she approached him with intention of telling him to go home but when she was about to reach him she actually saw how drunk Caleb was that he was not able to stand properly, this time Tyler's comments about Caleb that he had been drinking like a fish came into Hayley's mind. So Tyler was right Caleb was drinking wine and other drinks like he had been drinking water. Hayley had very low tolerance for drunk people and she just flee from the place where she saw drunk people but right now she couldn't do that, this guy who was drunk out of his wits was her friend, Caleb.
When Hayley steadied Caleb and glared at him in return Caleb smiled his charming smile if the situation had been any different Hayley would have smiled after seeing him smiling but right now she was mad at him so she glared at him in return of his smile. After smiling sheepishly at her Caleb said " you are here for me right" he had been too drunk so his speech slurred and his vision was getting little blurred but he could tell that the woman standing in front of him was Hayley. Hayley was still glaring at him when she saw that some tears started their journey from his eyes and started to fall and then he let go of his elbows which he was holding in order to steady himself and he grabbed her by her shoulders and this time there was an urgency in his voice when he asked her again "tell me, you are here for me."
What was wrong with this group of guys today Keith was crying when he saw Ginny walking down the aisle then Aaron cried for the reason unknown to her and now Caleb was also crying and asking her a question in an order in which a kid would ask his or her mother that she love him the most in the world or not. Those looks in Caleb's eyes making Hayley heart stifles she didn't know what kind of words she should tell him in reply which stops these tears and which put away these pleading look in his eyes but before she could say anything Caleb did something else which he wouldn't have done if he had been sober. He hugged Hayley. It was not a normal hug, Caleb was hugging Hayley so fiercely that after a point it was hard for her to breath but for Caleb even he hugged her she didn't feel close enough to him so he increased the intensity of his hug but still it's not enough.
