Aaron finished his work as soon as possible and rushed towards Hayley's apartment to meet her and talk to her but when he reached there he saw Hayley and Caleb together. Hayley was crying and speaking both at the same time and Caleb was holding her hands trying to console her. something inside Aaron broke when he saw her crying and then he saw Caleb hugging Hayley at this point of time he wanted to rush and held Hayley in his arms but he felt like an intruder so he just stood there frozen listening to Hayley's complains about how she feels alone these days and how much she wanted Aaron to be there with her but she was worried about him being disturbed by his problems so try to keep her problems to herself. After hearing all of this something inside him broke and he wanted to tell her that she could share anything with him he will not feel disturbed in fact he will feel happy to be part of her life.
While consoling Hayley Caleb felt someone's presence in the room and when he looked towards door he saw Aaron's retracting figure. Aaron saw them hugging each other when this thought registered in his mind he panicked he didn't want Aaron to misunderstand anything. He gave Hayley a glass of water and told her a random excuse and came out from her apartment and as he expected he saw Aaron standing in the parking lot near his car deep in thought. Aaron didn't except Caleb to be there he thought that they didn't know about his arrival but if he was here this means they knew. He had heard most of their conversation so he knew what might Caleb talk to him about but what Caleb said next puzzled him " you know we didn't mean to hug its just the moment she was crying and I was just trying to console her that's all." Said Caleb in one go. Aaron looked puzzled for a while and then he realized that Caleb thought he walked out because of him hugging Hayley. well any person would think like that he and Hayley was in a relationship and Caleb was an another man but still this thing didn't crossed Aaron's mind that Caleb might think that he was doubting his and Hayley's relationship. Damn it, he wasn't doubting them they both are most important people in his life, he was just ashamed of himself that he was hurting the woman he love.
Caleb saw Aaron was not uttering a word even though he said that much, he felt that it might be because Aaron didn't believe him, he was about to open his mouth to talk to him but Aaron waved his hand in front of him and said not to worry, he said " I was not doubting you guys it's just that I am feeling ashamed."
