Dark Lord of Tartarus

***

Outside of the mansion, under the sun of the afternoon, the maids were standing by with the guardians. The guardians were all battle ready, some were wearing their full set of armor, equipped their gears and holding their weapons. They were all lined up on the right flank of the paved pathway in front of the double doors.

The Hyades Maids were on the left flank of the paved pathway in front of the double doors all lined up and standing straight. The guardians and the maids were waiting for their master to come out.

After a minute of standby, the double door opened and the man of darkness came out of it. He was wearing a different trench coat than before, this time it was a more amazingly designed and embellished hooded trench coat, some parts of the arms, shoulder, and body has several markings and linings and were glowing in a neon blue color. Then he was wearing black clothing inside the coat, then black pants and black boots.

The guardians and the maids were surprised and enchanted by the sight, their master looked so good – no, good was not enough to describe their master's form.

"My lord, you look so magnificent."

"You think so? Thank you, Criswell."

"I'm unworthy of your thanks, I was merely stating the truth."

"You indeed look so magnificent my lord, and at the same time so majestic."

Everyone agreed on Adrasteia's words.

"Hmm." Their master said while pulling his coat to adjust. "Now then, it looks like everyone is ready, are you?"

Everyone responded in affirmative.

"All right then. Firstly…"

Their master walked forward near the guardians.

Their master held out his hand and red masks with black linings appeared out of thin air floating on his hand and there were four of them.

"The guardians, who don't have anything to cover their visage, use these masks and wear them before we set out."

The masks floated to Adrasteia, Brutus, Agiel, and Xelya, and they accepted them.

Then their master shifted his eyes to the maids and walked near them.

"Aesyla, Ambrosia and Mira."

"Yes." The three said in unison and stepped forward.

"You know what to do, right?"

The three responded in affirmative.

"Good. Destroy everything there when you're done and most of all, let none survive."

"Understood." The three said.

Then their master extended his hand to his side and cast a spell.

"[Gate]"

Then a dark blue round object appeared out of nowhere, it was a portal.

He cast the spell "Teleportation Gate", but he shortened it to "Gate" because there are a lot of syllables when including the word "Teleportation". The spell conjures a portal that can teleport anyone who goes through it. The Gate spell is a lot more accurate and more useful than the spell [Teleportation].

"Go."

"Yes. We won't fail you, my lord." Aesyla said.

"I know you won't."

Then their master summoned Rock Golems and Greater Skeleton Warriors.

After that Aesyla, Ambrosia and Mira stood up and went inside the gate.

***

There were three men on top of a watchtower. One of them sat on a chair inside.

"Haaaah, I'm tired. It's boring that we are just standing here all the time with nothing else to do but guarding, nothing's even happening."

One of the men approached the man who is sitting.

"Don't be like that, at least the pay was good."

"I guess you're right, this is better than doing a load of work and gain few. But still, this is boring."

"Still you can't just slack off. Have you forgotten someone sneaked in without us noticing and stole a load of crystals, because of that we didn't get our pay that month, and we also almost got fired. So be on guard."

"Yeah yeah. But currently we have those military guys also on guard, so I think we would be fine if we slack off a little, just make sure we won't get caught."

"Maybe you're right. But don't overdo it."

"Of course." The guard looked at the surroundings. "It got suddenly dark."

The second guard turned his head and looked to the sky.

"It looks like it's about to rain, seems to be a strong one. But that was quick, it was just sunny, strange."

"Maybe climate change?"

"Hehe, yeah maybe…"

"…Hey, I just heard that there was an attack on Yusorga yesterday."

"Really? Hmmm, so that's why they sent some military here. How are things there?"

"Well, I heard the defense was a victory. The enemy was annihilated."

"Woah, that's great to hear! Then that means they're safe."

"Yeah, they are. But I heard something strange."

"Strange? What's strange?"

"Well, it's that… I heard they were attacked by monsters."

"Monsters? You're kidding?"

"No I'm not. That's what I heard. I heard them say there were armored skeletons using swords as weapons and some wolves that breath fire and so on."

"Yeah right. Monsters. You sure they were serious while talking?"

"Yeah, the way the reporter talked on the radio sounds serious, of course, the soldiers didn't seem to believe at first but later on they seem they did."

"But still, that's something not believable."

"Yeah."

"But do you believe it?"

"Hmmm, I don't know really. Do you?"

"Do I look like I believe it?"

The guard peered on to the man's face.

"Hmmm, yup, you don't seem to believe."

"Then you're right, I don't. Monsters attacking are not exactly believable. Hell, there are even no other creatures but only humans and animals. What? Is it like demons or angels are just going to appear out of nowhere? There are no other creatures but hum—."

"GUYS MOVEMENT OF THE FRONT! THEY'RE… THEY'RE…"

The third guy on the tower suddenly shouted.

The two guards then quickly went to the side of the one who shouted.

"What?! What are they?!" The second guard said.

"Monsters?" The first guard said.

"No they're…"

"What are they?"

The second guard asked and grabbed the third guard's shoulder then pulled it. However, the guard kept his eyes on his small binoculars.

"They're… Be… Be… Beautiful."

"HAAAAAAH?!" Both the guards said.

Confused, the two guards quickly looked to where the third guard was looking and there they saw three figures.

They narrowed their eyes for the figures were a few distances away. The three figures were walking like they were taking a stroll on the unpaved road.

As the figures got closer to them, they finally got to see a lot more of them.

"Are they wearing a maid uniform?" The first guard asked.

"Yeah they are. But, there seem to be some metal plates on their uniforms." The second guard said.

When the women got near the gates, everything was now clear. The eyes of the two guards widened in the sight.

"They're beautiful, no, they're so beautiful."

"I… agree on that."

The three ladies on maid uniforms were so beautiful, they have never seen any woman that beautiful. No woman seen in fashion shows can be compared to these goddesses. One could think when someone sees those beautiful maids "Where have you been my entire life?"

No other beautiful women they met their entire life could hope to beat those maids. Not even the ones who joined the worldwide fashion show or even the whores in the brothels can match their beauty.

"… Look the military guys are approaching them." The second guard said.

"Why would they point their guns at those beautiful goddesses?" The third guard said.

"That's not how you get a lady." The first guy said.

***

"You there? Who are you? Do you know you are trespassing a private property?"

A man in a military uniform asked while pointing his weapon at the maids.

"You three speak." Another soldier said while pointing his weapon at the maids.

Then three more soldiers approached the maids.

"Hey you guys! Come on, lower your weapons. That's rude on the beautiful ladies."

"But…"

"Come on, what harm could they do?"

"Eh, you're right."

The two soldiers lowered their weapons.

After that, all the soldiers looked to the maids. They were all tenderly smiling, they look so innocent. A decent man would totally respect these beautiful ladies.

"Please forgive us on being rude."

"Wew, I thought you were going to shoot us. That scared me a lot. However, before I forgive you, you must pay the price."

The maid with the silver hair said joyfully and energetically while smiling.

Mira's maid uniform was armored on the central body part, her shoulders, and her arms, looks like gauntlets that have a shape and fit precisely like her arms but gloves only covered the hands and fingers and the only armored part is the back of the hands. Her maid skirt was also plated but it was designed to allow the skirt to wave almost freely, it could be said the metal plates can move like chains, then she wears a pair of black greaves.

The soldiers let out a little sound of astonishment as they heard the silver-haired girl talked. After that, they looked at each and chuckled.

"Hehe, of course. We'll pay any price."

"Really now?" The maid with black hair asked in a regular tone while smiling.

Aesyla's maid uniform is the same metal plated one.

"Really."

"So? How did you beautiful ladies got here?"

"Actually we're lost, we don't know the way and ended up here." The maid with blood red hair and blood red eyes said in a cute manner.

Ambrosia's maid uniform is the same what she always wears.

The soldiers' eyes widened after hearing the young girl's voice.

"Is that so? Then, we'll help you."

"Really?! Thank you very much, oh soldier!" Ambrosia said.

"Then where are you going?"

"Actually, we are looking for a mining site where they mine magic crystals." Mira said.

"Huh?"

The soldiers looked at each other in confusion.

"Do you dear soldiers know where it is?" Ambrosia said while making a pitiful face.

The soldiers frowned and looked at each other again with a confused look on their faces.

"You guys… this is a mining site where magic crystals are being mined."

"Oh! That's great! We don't need to look for it anymore." Mira said.

"All right that's enough playing around. Let's get to it now, we're wasting time." Aesyla said in a serious tone.

"Haaah, alright. I had my fun." Ambrosia said.

The soldiers frowned and looked at each other then they smiled looking like they have an evil intent.

"That's right. Enough playing around and let's get to it, okay? So what about we do something fun?"

One of the soldiers said then he slowly walked closer to Ambrosia and extended his hand.

Wiiiiish

Suddenly there was a swishing sound then something splattered all around, it was red. But before the red spread further and hit the ground, it froze in place then flew upward.

Then the soldiers noticed that the one who walked forward had his body tilted – no it was just the top half of his entire body. The soldiers froze while trying to cope up with what happened. Then when they did, the tilted body part fell to the ground and the lower part also fell. The man's body that walked forward was cut in half diagonally.

"Don't even try to touch me with your filthy hands, human." Ambrosia said.

"W-w-w-what?"

"A-a-a-ah"

The soldiers made different sounds in the sudden event and the sickening sight. They were dumbfounded and didn't understand what just happened.

One of the soldiers then noticed something on the right hand of Ambrosia.

"I-is t-that a s-s-sword?"

Ambrosia was holding a sword, the sword has a black dominant color with red linings and markings around it. She pulled it out of her inventory.

"Now then, didn't you say you're ready to pay any price? Then the price is your life."

After Mira said that, the soldiers quickly and shakily tried to point their weapons on her, however, they were acting so slow because of the event.

"Do it quick Mira, we have already used a lot of time." Ambrosia said.

"Hmph, said the one who requested we should act like innocent lost ladies." Aesyla said.

"Hih." Ambrosia said while smiling and looking at Aesyla.

"Don't worry I'll make this quick." Mira said.

Mira strolled forward and conjured a staff. The staff has a black dominant color and then the color white. The staff has a round top edge, the round edge is made up of blades, a round sharp disk and dagger-like blades pointed going outward all around the circular disk. Also, the upper part of the staff near the edge has sharp blades on its sides.

"W-w-what… AAAAAAH!"

A soldier aimed his magic powered rifle at Mira and pulled the trigger. He rapidly fired at Mira and rains of magic projectiles headed towards Mira, but that's nothing for her.

Mira waved her staff around blocking all the projectiles, she did it like it was nothing.

"The hell?" The soldier was dumbfounded and he continued firing.

Again, Mira swept it all like nothing. However, the soldier was continuously firing, and Mira continuously sweeping and blocking.

"Heh, are you supposed to be fighting back? You're boring."

Mira leaped to the soldier, in an instant the soldier's head flew. It was so fast that the other soldiers couldn't even follow with their eyes.

Blood spurted out of the body from where the head was once attached. However, the blood didn't fell to the ground instead it went upward to a particular area.

The soldiers followed where the stream of blood was going and there they saw what caused them to be frightened extremely. The blood was forming into a ball and was floating atop the blood red-haired maid.

"I'll be having their blood. Okay Mira?"

"Of course, what would I do with their blood anyway?"

Ambrosia broadly smiled.

"Mira, just get their payment already." Aesyla said.

"Alright."

Mira seriously looked to the soldiers, they were shaking considerably.

The soldiers looked terrifyingly at the maids then to the orb of blood on top of the blood red-haired girl. Fear was creeping deeply inside their very heart, it was a nightmare. Not an ordinary nightmare, but a deadly nightmare. Only one word could be used to describe these maids, monsters, no human can ever do something like this.

Blood of their comrades being absorbed to the orb of blood floating atop of the blood red-haired girl, with that, they are sure the girl is no human, but a monster with an appearance of a beautiful young girl. Her allies were no different, a silver-haired maid with that kind of power and killing their ally with no remorse, the black haired maid nonchalantly watching the slaughter, it is certain that they are monsters indeed.

"I don't even need to use spells on this guys. Now time to end you."

Mira smiled tenderly and readied her staff.

"E-Everyone s-shoot her!"

All soldiers rapidly shot at Mira.

Mira then ran to the soldiers while sweeping off their shots. When she reached them she gracefully waved her sharp staff all around while gracefully moving around.

Soldiers were being sliced, some were cut in half, got cut gravely, heads being cut off. After that, she looked back to see the aftermath, it was a bloody sight. Their insides were scattered all around but there was no blood.

Mira looked to her staff, and she saw blood dirtied her precious staff. However, the blood didn't last long for it flew from her staff to her sister's blood orb.

"Thanks, I don't want to dirty the staff Lord Xyn gave to me at the current scenario."

"Hehehe, did you guys see their faces hahaha… Augh, it makes me excited just seeing their frightened faces." Ambrosia cracked a wicked smile. "Haaah I love seeing them suffer in fear." She said while hugging herself and trembling.

"I'm glad you're happy about this Sia." Mira said.

Aesyla peered onto Ambrosia.

"Hmmm, I think I'm getting an idea of your other personality… but anyway, let's continue onward. We need to finish this before the master is done with the human town."

"Yes!" Mira said.

"Y-yes." Ambrosia said while wickedly smiling and then returned her sword to her inventory.

"All units come!"

Thirty Greater Skeleton Warriors and ten Rock Golems began to appear from where the maids came.
