Standing in front of him the little boy slowly faded away with the biggest smile on his face that Azreal had ever seen.

Once again the entire space turned dark absolutely nothing was visible.

Plop

Azreal could hear the sound of a single drop of water hitting the ground and from there, starting from his feet everything the ripples of water came across changed.

The once dark world turned into a vast beautiful night sky, there weren't that many stars and the ones that were there didn't manage to light up the sky very well, in fact, they were rather pale.

"What is this?"

It was only now that Darius reappeared.

"Our mind normally reflects things we want or subconsciously long for or simply who we are, this, for example, could mean you just want peace and quiet or you just like the sky, I don't know it's your mind, for now, you don't need to think too much the space will slowly reveal itself but in the future it's gonna become something invaluable"

"Is there a way to figure out who put the seals there or find out if there are any more?"

The answer came without hesitation.

"Nope, once it's gone it's gone, and that should be all, if there were more the child would've been dragging them around since you two became one again that should be all of them"

The fact that the answer came without any hesitation Azreal didn't dwell on it since he could do nothing about it.

"The pain I felt before what was it?"

"The moment you broke the seal you opened the floodgates to let everything through trying to hold onto or even trying to view one of those would no different from blocking the path, so the pain you felt was just the pressure of everything being backed up, all of what just passed were things that were sealed away letting them pass is nothing but holding onto them is just hurting yourself, remember the past can't hurt you unless you hold onto it"

Azreal nodded his head in response to Darius' answer.

"I still don't know what the seals locked away, I don't even know what to prepare myself for"

Darius didn't say anything instead he chose to remain quiet for a time, causing a moment of awkward silence enveloped them.

"When I go remember one thing. Engrave it in your heart so you won't forget, even when I disappear, with that seal gone you might think twice when it comes to killing or other actions that didn't bother you before but I'll tell you now, don't, kill anyone who stands in your way there will be times when you have to take a step back but at others, crush anything that blocks your path"

"The world of Gods follows a basic rule, the one with bigger fist wins, the nether realm is even less civilized than that, you want an easy life? Then swallow that thought whenever it comes up and crush anything or anyone that stands in your way, your name will spread and people will fear and respect it, from that fear peace will come"

.....

On Azan's back, Azreal's body once again started to change when he absorbed the child, his once soft skin started to produce scales, from his finger all the way up to his elbows had turned completely black with scales.

The closer it got to his elbow the more sparse the black scales became, on the side of his side of his arm bones started to grow out of his skin, the bones were quickly covered in black scales with a thin silver film connecting them, as the bones got closer to his elbow they became smaller.

The scales on his neck was a pale black with most of it being an almost invisible shade of silver, across his face was the same thing, a few sparse of black scales coming from the side of his face but the rest was the almost invisible shade of silver.

His ears grew a few inches longer and took shape similar to that of an elf but instead of skin it was covered in scales and the thin silver film, his feet were the same thing as his hands the black scales covered everywhere from his toes all the way up to his mid-thigh after which the silver took over.

His original tale had all but disappeared, the only thing remaining was the length.

Just like before the flesh started to grow on it again, start from the top it was about as thick as his waist getting smaller as it went down, the top half completely back while the bottom silver. The last few inches took the same form as his arm with the scale covered bones growing out and the film connecting them.

In the center of his forehead, a small golden stone formed, hidden from view by his hair.

His skin became a perfect mixture of black and silver.

Looking at his face in the light the silver was almost completely invisible the only thing that gave it away was the sparkle it had.
