Only a few minutes had passed since everything thing started happening, it was only now that reinforcements started to arrive.

Even though it was only a few minutes the distance that could be covered by creatures that mainly focused on physical cultivation wouldn't be small.

"Follow each path, I have no idea if they've split up even further but you already know what they look like so drag them and anyone they're traveling with back to the city, even if they enter any of the upcoming city stay with them until you find an opportunity"

"Sir!"

Wooossh

Woooshh

Woooshh

The inner city guards didn't hesitate a second, all dress in simple common clothes so as to not draw unnecessary attention but the aura they gave off was anything but normal.

...

"You should be getting back now, your friends will start to worry, just will it and you'll leave this space"

Anticipated what Azreal would ask so he provided the answer.

Azreal looked over at Darius not sure what to say, should he just leave? Say goodbye? Would he even see him again?

"We'll meet again so don't think too much, as for when? Mhm, when it benefits me and you don't forget the information I gave you it'll be like something you've always known, though there'll be some disparity"

Saying that Darius turned around and disappeared, Azreal didn't tarry either following what Darius said he willed it and his body disappeared.

When Azreal disappeared Darius returned with a big smile on his face, look at the spot where Azreal once stood.

"Dragon's bloodline? Hahaha, old man this kid? Hahahaha I said I'd make you a monster before but this? This changes everything, being a king amongst the Gods isn't impossible"

While speaking his thoughts aloud Darius looked down at his translucent figure and began laugh uncontrollably, clenching his fists determination flashed in his eyes.

"This King's return is imminent"

...

"Amazing! His body changed on its own, is this scale?"

No one answered just staring at Azreal's body, the scale on his skin sparkled like a jewel in the sunshine.

"Amazing! Simply Amazing! I've never seen a species of lizard-like this before"

All this time they hadn't stopped they just ran closer to Azan.

Clink

Clink

The rabbit used one of his claws to tap on the golden stone in Azreal's forehead, with each tap it gave out a small cry.

The rabbit doctor didn't say anything but his furrowed brows told them a lot, moving on from his forehead he ran his claws down from his chest all down to his stomach.

Clink

Clink

"Amazing…"

The doctor had barely said anything, barely a whisper but Azreal heard it clearly like he'd just said it right next to his ear.

"What is?"

"Your body! The formula my siblings and I came up with was only meant to change the external make-up of your body but-but-but this! Everything has changed! Even the energy pool that should've been in your stomach isn't there anymore! That-that thing in your forehead is an Energy core! Do you know what this could mean?!?"

The doctor spoke not realizing that Azreal had just awakened, Azreal's eyes had turned green, his pupil now in the form of a slit.

As the doctor spoke he became more and more fervent with each passing word to the point where a trace of foam could be seen coming from his mouth.

Kakar and the others were shocked by the rabbits' words quickly running over to Azreal and moving his hair aside to look at the golden stone.

"Do you know what this could mean?! Your physical body has the strength of a level two savage beast so it's impossible for you to have a core but here it is! Here! It! Is!...."

A core from what Azreal inferred from the doctors ranting, was something WarBeast wouldn't develop until late into their cultivation, on the path to cultivation their body couldn't store any energy until then.

Before then those who were lucky and born in clans would learn techniques that would help them refine their bodies with nether energy.

The process was long and hard because whenever they absorbed nether energy it didn't stay more than a few seconds in their body since there was nowhere for it to be stored, so they had to go seconds at a time.

Eventually they discovered another method, constantly being in battle which forced their bodies to move forward and get stronger, compared to only going seconds at a time fighting was a lot easier, you could either find a friend and force yourself to best each other every day but after a time that would fail to be useful since the body knew it's not in any real danger so eventually you'd be forced to leave and go find stronger opponents.

Those who were born in the really rich clan would always have resources on hand that made this process a lot simpler.

Azreal didn't know whether or not he could go back to the divine realm, although that wasn't his home it still felt a lot more normal when compared to here, although the process for cultivating as a warbeast sounded hard it still held incredible advantages and he was in the perfect position.

The physical bodies of Gods couldn't compare to Warbeast but the Warbeast ability to manipulate energy couldn't be compared to Gods.

He still remembered his realization when he was training with Kakar.

Power!

And although the details of what happened with the little boy remained blurry, he still remembered a phrase that he held close to his heart 'Crush anything that stood in his way'

He just took it as something he'd realized when little boy merged with him, as well as, the new knowledge he currently had, it was something he'd gain from his merger with the little boy.

With those two in mind, Azreal fully made up his mind to begin his journey to power.
