By the time Azreal finished the story on the wall he was at a dead end.

"Fuck, you must be joking"

Furrowing his brows, he couldn't help but think that maybe when he jumped down he'd chosen to roll in the wrong direction.

"No, No, I can still feel a slight the wind coming from in front"

Looking at the walls from top to bottom he couldn't see any way to get around them, no cracks to exploit.

Taking a step back Azreal decided to calm down and think, since he could still feel the wind then there must be a door or something here, remembering how Xavious was rubbing the wall earlier he started doing the same hoping to find some hidden mechanisms.

"Come on, Come on"

Azreal slowly rubbed his hand across the wall like he was gently caressing a woman, he refused to believe that there's wasn't some hidden mechanism.

"Work for daddy" he whispered to the wall.

Rubbing his hand across, he felt a slight bump which he ignored at first but that bump was followed by a dip and more bumps, holding the fire closer to the wall he was stumped for a moment but then he smiled as he looked at the slick paw that was incorporated in the story.

Taking out the wolf paw he found it placed it on the wall, applied pressure.

Rumble!

A deep rumbling came from the walls all around him, as —just like before— a door started opening from the wall in front of him.

When Azreal heard the rumbling and saw the door opening he lost his smile, it was really only now that he remembered what was waiting for him outside.

He knew clearly that he was in the wrong since he was desecrating something these warbeast hold in such high regard but there was no way he was gonna die for it.

When the door opened, Azreal a bittersweet feeling took over because the door didn't lead outside but rather it led into a room, a well-lit room so the fire on his hand disbursed.

"A Workshop?"

At each corner of the room was a crystal giving off light, the light it gave off was no different from the natural lighting that would come in an open space.

Azreal didn't immediately go in rather he pushed his head in to look around before deciding if he'd go in.

Just from a quick glance, he was able to confirm that the room was a workshop, several drawing hung on the walls, papers scattered on the ground, in the center of the room was a desk covered with several instruments a person would normally use for technical drawing.

To the left was a bookshelf with only a few books remaining or maybe that's all that was there in the first place, to his right was a closet, a bed, and a makeshift kitchen. Aside from all that, there was a large area of the room that was cleared with nothing else there, on the ground Azreal could faintly make out some chalk outlines that had long since faded.

This placed was abandoned and not just recently either, he could only assume that this was the workspace of the person whose tomb this is.

Taking careful steps Azreal stepped into the room, walking straight up to the table, with drawings and the instructions, taking up the papers one by one he observed each one of them.

Each of them showed diagrams similar to what he drew in the sword to trap souls, except the symbols used were different.

All the draws were similar, at least the core of it was, and the outer layer was constantly changing, it seemed like an incomplete formula whether he mastered it or not was unknown.

At the top of the table was a small jar with three shards in there.

"No idea what any of these are but thanks"

Azreal took all the pieces papers and instruments together in a pile and tossed them all in his space right.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it he comforted himself about his hoarder habit.

Walking over to the bookshelf, Azreal picked up the five books and brought them over to the desk, giving his mind a break was the best option, since this was the workshop there had to be some way out.

If worse came to past he'd just burn this entire tomb down and run.

Sitting down Azreal looked at each of the books, two of them were notebooks, although one of them felt a bit thin like a lot of papers were ripped out of it, the other three were, based on runes, a book that discussed space and a book on different types of crystal.

Before read any of the books, he looked down at his naked body, without a second thought he walked over to the closet.

Opening the doors Azreal came across a spiders paradise, it was covered in cobwebs, destroying the cobwebs there were quite a few suits of clothing in there just that they'd seen better days.

Starting from what he thought looked the best Azreal started taking out the clothes but soon he was heartbroken, every single thing he took out slowly broke apart and turned to dust.

"Fuck! How long has this place been abandoned then?"

The only thing he took up that didn't fall apart out of the dozens of clothes in the closet was a pants and the only part of the kimono that remained the haori and a beaded haori himo that he thought looked nice because of the colors so he kept it.

Putting those aside he opened the big drawer right under the closet, Azreal jumped back when he saw the body inside it since he wasn't expecting it.

"Well that solves the mystery of what happened to the owner of this place"

Taking a closer look at the body, something seemed off, the clothes turned to dust the moment he touched them so one can only imagine how long they've been here but the body was still in perfect condition.

Poking the body with his claw, the skin didn't feel right either, it felt kinda rubbery.

Once he noticed the skin Azreal started noticing more flaws, the skin was completely white like there was no blood in there, it had no indication of any sexual organ and overall it looks human but one that some who's never seen a human imagined them to look like.

He could only summarize that the former owner created it as for why, maybe the notebooks would tell him.
