Slowly turning his head backward Azreal saw Kakar stooping down behind him, staring at him, for the first time his eyes were completely focused.

In an instant, Azreal's back was drenched in cold sweat.

'Shit! Fuck! Crap! Fuckie-De-Fuck-Fuck!'

Swallowing hard Azreal wasn't sure what was happening, although Kakar was only stooping down, the way his eyes looked as well as the energy that was emanating from his body was completely different from before, it was like a wild beast looking down on an insect.

Standing up Kakar threw some metal plate of armor in front of Azreal, that he'd only just noticed, in fact, Kakar himself was also wearing armor but only his chest was covered.

"Put those on"

Hesitating for a second Azreal picked up the armor and started putting it on.

"What's this for?"

Still feeling a bit of fear because of what he felt earlier Azreals voice took on a slightly more submissive tone.

Hearing him speak Kakar looked at him with his mouth slightly raising in what Azreal could only assume is a smile.

"It speaks"

Throwing up his hands in the air in an exaggerated way Kakar made a shocked expression, instead of answering his question Kakar said something that surprised him.

"If you want to escape you can go ahead and I won't stop you"

Quickly though Azreal comes to his senses no one would be stupid enough to think that Kakar meant what he said so Azreal stared at him. Noticing his glare Kakar just laughed.

"Ehh what's with that look? I said I won't stop you that doesn't mean that you'll make it far"

Throwing his hands up again and shaking his head, Kakar continued.

"I'm just hired help, you running has nothing to do with me"

After he finished speaking he walked a good distance away from Azreal and started walking around the stage, looking up at the sun every now and then, after a few seconds he finally chose a spot to lay down.

Propping his head up with one of his hands while staring at Azreal lazily.

"Well go ahead"

Watching Kakar's casual attitude, Azreal hesitated. Maybe he really wouldn't stop him? But that wouldn't make any sense, it wouldn't benefit him if Azreal escaped.

In moments like these Azreal was truly at a loss as to what he should do.

Turning his back to Kakar was practically suicide but he might not get another chance like this again.

Azreal himself might not realize it but he felt incredible fear towards the warbeast, even if he recognized the fear he wouldn't know if it was instinctive or because of what happened before but one thing was for sure he was subconsciously scared.

While torturing himself about what he should do, Azreal closed his eyes for a split second, when he opened his eyes Kakar was gone.

Instantly his entire body was drenched in cold sweat before he could even move to look in another direction to try and locate him.

Swoosh

A sucking force came from the top of his head, his head was held firmly in place.

Wham!

Azreal felt as if his head was smashed against a brick wall. His entire vision turned red, right after the force was released and he fell to the ground.

The hit wasn't enough to knock him unconscious only leaving him in a dazed state.

Over and over his mind kept replaying what just happened to try to figure out what happened.

Turning his head to look around, everything looked out of focus. Vaguely he could see a silhouette standing in front of him but with the throbbing pain coming from his head as well as the blood in his eyes it was hard to make it out.

"Never hesitate"

Hearing the voice Azreal was about sixty percent sure that it was his but the throbbing made it hard for him to be a hundred percent sure.

Closing his eyes and focusing his mind for a moment the pain in his head eventually subsided, slowing getting up Azreal wiped the blood out of his eyes.

Kakar was still lying in the same position as before with his eyes closed.

Looking around to find out what his head was slammed in Azreal was stunned to see his blood in the air as if it was on a wall.

"That's how the arenas in sow are. Warbeast don't hesitate in battle, no matter how stupid the decision we always follow through, you need to listen to your instincts more"

Every word Kakar said was so casual that it sounded like he was talking to a friend he'd know for years.

Walking up the invisible wall of psionic energy, Azreal gently places his hand on it only to feel a repelling power pushing him back.

"The arenas in sow only allows one person to leave the ring alive, or else the wall won't fade. My job is to ensure that you either put up a good fight or at the very least ensure that you don't die too early"

By the time he finished speaking he was already standing next to Azreal, although Azreal wasn't sure how he could move like that completely hiding his presence and not disrupting the air current but he wasn't surprised since his head was still a little foggy despite the fading headache and it was basically confirmed that Kakar was the one that slammed him into the wall earlier.

"I think I'll be just fine on my own"

"Hahahahaha, What you're confident just because you cut down a few Savage Beasts? You'd end up being crushed by Beast King and as for Emperor Beast not even in your dreams"

The words didn't even phase Azreal especially since he didn't know what Kakar was talking about.

Ignorance truly is bliss.

"King beasts? Emperor beast? What are those?"

Kakar didn't laugh or show any form of disdain because of Azreal's lack of knowledge.

"Savage Beast is the weakest of our race in terms of strength they are on par with your divine beings, nothing is the Nether Realm is as weak as your Demi—"

At this point Kakar suddenly stopped because just looking at Azreal's expression he could tell he was completely lost, he didn't know a damn thing!.

Smiling wryly Kakar couldn't help but ask.

"you're kidding me right?"

The look on Azreal's face looked even weirder but not an ouch of shame could be found anywhere on it.

"What are you talking about? What are Demi's and do you know anything about Cores"

Kakar didn't know whether he should be laughing or crying.

Sighing Kakar didn't even question it.

"I don't know how accurate this is since the information we have are what's passed down, Demi's are beings that lack the potential to develop Cores, that much I'm sure is accurate since it's same no matter who you ask"

Speaking up to this point Kakar got up and once again walked off the stage and came back with two wooden bowls filled with some strange nuts.

They had the physical characteristics of ginger, slightly purplish black color to it.

Placing one of the bowls about two meters from where he was lying down, indicating that Azreal should sit there then returned to his own spot.

"Ahhh cores now, the information on that is a little messed up since WarBeast don't really have them, picking all nonsense out of everything I've heard the core is just a container. It's what stores all the energy humans collect, how it works, how to locate it or things like that is beyond me. What I do know is that once a human gains the power of a Legendary Beast the core melts merges with their body linking them up to some 'higher power'"

When he mentioned Legendary Beast, Kakar's eyes glowed for a second before disappearing.
