Once everyone was secured in their cages the guards left, since there was nothing else to be done.

The next days as soon as the sun was in the sky people were rushing towards the arena especially those that were told that there was gonna be a human there.
Things weren't set to start for another few hours, today wasn't going to be a very long event, the only thing that was going to happen today was showing the participants in their cages to the crowd so they could bet on who would be the survivor.
They would get to witness the fights but since all of them would be happening simultaneously things shouldn't take more than two or three hours and that would be all for the day.
In a short three hours the arena planned on catering to everyone, those who just wanted to see a bloodbath and those who just wanted to gamble, today would be exciting but tomorrow would be even better since they come with their favorites in mind.
Just as everyone on was getting into their seats a podium rose from the floor of the arena.
"Good Morning Everyone! I will be your host on this beautiful day! How are you all doing today?!?"
When the audience members saw the little platform rising from the ground their excitement could not be contained.
"Good Good looks like everyone came to enjoy themselves today! To my friends who are looking to get rich the betting stations will be opened soon and to my brothers and sisters who are looking forward to the bloodbath!!! Then we'll satisfy your craving soon!"
The arena had been opened at first light so quite a few of the audience member still looked sleepy and all the seats weren't occupied as yet, so like a good host, he would delay.
"I know that a lot of you heard about Master Kaz's return to the ring?!"
When he said this he pointed at Kaz who In turn stood up and waived to everyone.
"So it's true he really is here!"
"And after missing three competitions! You know he must've brought a beast with him! I can't wait!"
"Woooohooo Master Kaz!"
Watching the crowd get riled up the announcers smiled.
"This year we also have two newcomers that most of you have probably never heard of hehe but what they've entered in the competition this year is beyond amazing. As you know from previous years because they managed to get two creature approved they had to be placed in two different cages simply because both of them are so spectacular!! Ohhhhh I already have goosebumps just thinking about it I can't wait!"
His excitement because infectious, the crowd was getting more and more excited with every passing second.
"Come On stop teasing us already!!"
"God I hate this guy! Every time! Every damn time"
"All of you shut up!!"
Watching majority of the seats fill out and the grogginess of the faces of people all but gone he looked up at the box at the top of the arena, inside a figure nodded back at him.
"I won't introduce the newcomers to you until tomorrow after who knows if their participants will get past today and As for the other I won't even bother introducing them since they are pretty much staples here! Hahaha"
When the other beast master heard this they didn't take any offense to it since it was basically true and a compliment, not everyone would produce a qualifying beast as often as they did, though they didn't win as much as the liked they made quite a bit from these events, enough to keep them comfortable and coming back.
As for Lako and Mako they didn't pay them much mind since it was so rare for any newcomers to make it past the first day, even if they somehow managed to find a strong human the fact that the arena didn't use it to promote the event said all they needed to know.

With every word he shouted the announcer pointed at the top of a different rising cage. Five in total.

The cages were rigged to move just slow enough to build up massive amounts of anticipation
