Every time Mozun trained in a meteorite flow, his mental drive focused intensely, allowing no distractions. He saw only meteors and nothing else. He hadn’t known at all, that in middle of his exercise Wu Xingyun and the escort had arrived. Nor had he realized that he’d inadvertently destroyed the fleet.
Until Mozun suddenly knew someone was staring at him.
Like a sixth sense, an odd sensation, and what he had felt when he’d been shot that time.
Mozun abruptly turned around, in time to observe two unforeseen battleships exploding.
And soldiers in combat uniforms ejecting out.
Mozun’s immediate thought was that it was an enemy sneak attack. His weapon waved, a faint golden halo spread over it. Then he spotted a familiar figure coming out of a ship about to blast. His own mutated acute sense of magnetoreception allowed Mozun to recognize the person’s magnetic field. It was the one who had once hurt him, his wife-to-be.

Mozun lightly rested his feet on a small meteorite that was flying in falling Wu Xingyun’s direction, for he saw a meteor crashing towards Wu Xingyun’s head.
It hadn’t been easy to achieve the peace negotiations and the reprieve they granted, and even more difficult had been getting his hands on Wu Xingyun. Mozun’s prize shouldn’t die. So Mozun waved a blade, creating a slipstream that flew towards the meteor racing towards Wu Xingyun.
At the same time, Mozun collided with another person. He easily picked up that man, then landed on a larger meteor, still looking in Wu Xingyun’s direction.
The not-so-large meteorite headed towards Wu Xingyun was cut in two by Mozun’s weapon-created wind. Something only Mozun knew. Wu Xingyun certainly didn’t realize it, that the Night Shard had just saved his life.
Wu Xingyun flipped over in the air a few times, until finally finding a foothold on a small meteorite going in the same direction as the flow.
The meteorite was about a meter in diameter, just enough for Wu Xingyun to avoid other meteorites.
Taking a moment, Wu Xingyun retrieved his gun, adjusted the settings, and started his fuel thruster.
As he had trained many times, he shouted to himself: “Prepare!”
Wu Xingyun crouched slightly, crawling along the meteorite.
“Go!” Using his legs and thruster in the almost zero gravity to propel himself along the flow, he aimed to make his way through and out to clear, safer space.
Rolling, bending, jumping, movements coordinated like a harmonious symphony. His heavy suit gave no impediment to his light-footed progress, like a bird soaring through a storm.
Pfff. A laser shot and Wu Xingyun successfully shattered an unescapable small meteorite. More came after it, and Wu Xingyun pulled his trigger again.
His movements fluid and graceful, and his expression serious. Wu Xingyun’s eyes held only the fast-moving meteors, concentrating like on a battlefield.
Leaping again and again, repeatedly gliding here and there, Wu Xingyun finally passed through the meteor stream and out into barren space. He began to summon and collect his teammates.

The soldier’s expression was filled with surprise and disbelief, which rapidly turned to ecstasy at the sight of Mozun’s face.
“You, You…You saved me!” Ouyang Liu almost exploded with excitement. He hadn’t imagined, amidst all the chaos, that Mozun had chosen to aid him, and only him.
A lazy smile once again curled up the edges of Mozun’s mouth. He gave Ouyang Liu a nod, waving his blade to cut open an oncoming meteorite. He grabbed Ouyang Liu, no longer paying attention to Wu Xingyun, and went flying down to the planet.
The black figure, vanishing into a dark universe, no one saw him depart.
But at the moment he was leaving, he suddenly turned around and saw Wu Xingyun. The solider was busy looking for his people in the distance.
Mozun frowned faintly. He quite disliked Wu Xingyun’s conscientious, solemn way of doing things. The more serious and persistent the enemy, the more trouble they gave Mozun.
